I got these in the mail and 5 hours later was on a plane headed to Iceland- no time to take them for a test hike. Thankfully, they felt great and got me through hiking in the rain, on a glacier, in the volcanic sand, and my feet stayed warm and dry! They were so comfortable too. An absolute home run!

I like the looks of this shoe. Thought it would be good for walking. But it was hard to put it on because there is no “tongue” that I can lift up to put my foot into the shoe. It is all attached to the shoe. Once I struggled to cram my foot in there it fit fine, but I wouldn’t want to go through that everyday. I really liked them and am disappointed that I had to return them.

These shoes totally ruined my trip to Bhutan. I am from Florida and not a hiker. I got recommendations from Zappos and decided on these shoes. I bought them in advance to see if they were comfortable which they were on flat ground. My first day of hiking my ankles and calves were in such pain. Evidentially there is no support from these shoes. I was taken to the hospital half way around the world for shinsplints.

This shoe is the perfect shoe for someone who does light hiking. There isn't a ton of ankle support for those who hit the trails harder and more often.e

I usually wear a size 9 in normal shoes but 10 for running shoes. I bought these for hiking and got a 9.5. They fit perfect. Extremely comfortable.

I needed shoes for every day that were able to fit my orthopedic inserts. These fit the bill and look very sporty. These shoes are roomy enough to have inserts in, and still have plenty of toe room. They fit very nicely and give good support. The laces are a fit thin, but hold in place. They are actually trail running shoes, and have nice traction. Good for icy parking lots. After wearing for a week, I like them so much I ordered a second color. The shoes for sure run large, at least a half size. I wear Altras when I run, which have an even bigger toe box.

Beware -- the difference between 9 and 9.5 is significant! I find the 9.5s are a bit too roomy (though I like the roomy toe box and the space for orthotics), BUT the size 9s are SO much narrower, especially in the toebox! I can barely stand to keep them on for more than a few moments. I've never seen shoes that have such a significant jump between half sizes.

I wear a 9 in most shoes, I just always get a 10 in adidis and they always fit great. As did these.

Usually have to order a 12 in the Adidas brand the last year or so. This shoe is generous to length of shoe. So, I'd need the smaller size. However, the insert isn't removable so I can't use orthodic which I need so can't reorder smaller size. But it looks nice and I like the grayish color on side as opposed to the usual white.

I have been looking for shoes for workouts rather than running which I always use ultra boost for.

I returned these shoes because, sadly, they just felt cheap...and they were. I realize that you do need to spend $100+ on really good, cushioned, and supportive hiking shoes. I currently have Lowa hiking shoes and they are fantastic, but I am looking for vegan hiking shoes and while these look good and are all synthetic uppers, I just didn't like the way the felt so I returned them.
I'd also recommend:
Lowa, Solomon

I've worn Adidas for years and years, most recently Kanadias. These are a far cry from any of my previous pairs. The insole is hard, the footbed has been narrowed, the arch digs into the back of the ball of my foot and the back of the shoe is too tall. They are a nice blue-grey but that's all that's going for them.

Color is weird (LILAC), and shoe is super squeaky! Sad, but it's going back. Not very comfortable either.

These were not comfortable and I had to send them back. I have narrow feet but they hit the side. no arch support either.
