Very good show to work in because I work in a warehouse and don't like steel toe boots.

Great shoes very comfortable , sturdy. warm to and fit perfectly well worth the price.

I work in a distribution center, walking, moving boxes and pallets, operating power equipment. The shoe is light, fits well, and it is very comfortable and so far it has been durable. It has a composite toe. The 589 is much better than the 627. The 627 was clunky and heavy and the glue on the soles let loose in just a few weeks. If you want something for work, go with the 589. Very nice shoe, I hope they don't discontinue it or change it.

Most comfortable work shoes out there. Unfortunately can only wear them in dry weather.

My feet were killing me until I got these shoes. Light weight, great arch support and they didn't break the bank.

I wear these for required safety shoes at work 12 hours a day and they remain comfortable for the entire shift. All the great quality you expect from New Balance plus great service and delivery time direct from New Balance website.

I wear these shoes 10 to 12 hours at a time. They are as comfortable as a work shoe can be.

The comfort and arch support are amazing. True to size and fit perfectly I already bought a non work shoe from NB and I would describe that the same way. I'm a convert to the NB brand

After wearing these shoes for a week. My feet feel 100% better than they did before. I went with the Wide version. I would recommend these to anyone.

I walk several miles a day at work(I walk and stand for eight hours), and these have never caused me discomfort. My current pair has lasted a year and half, and have recently begun showing wear(tears and fabric fraying. The frame of the shoe is still rock solid), though they will likely remain functional for another year. I ordered a half size larger than I wear in most shoes and it fits perfectly. The laces stay tied. I will wear these shoes until they are no longer available.

NB allows puts out a top quality product, and once again they did not disappoint. My only wish is that they also sell replacement shoe laces, since theirs beat the national brands hands down for endurance, and stay-tied quality.

I work 12 hr shifts. I added Orthofeet inserts to make perhaps the most comfortable work shoes ever. The combination is so good I purchased a second pair of shoes and inserts.

I work 10 to 12 hr shifts on an industrial site. These work great all around for the long periods and are comfy and light. Not having to remove them for the metal detectors is also a plus

I like to hike with my 589's. The composite toe protects my toes from rocks and roots that are often found on the trails. The styling is good so that I can wear them in any casual gathering as well.

I needed safety toe shoes for new employment. Very difficult to find stock locally. I tried 8 different shoes from the leading brands. Comfort and quality were my biggest concerns for old feet. New Balance was my #1 choice of the bunch. Usually wear a size 12 but felt I needed more toe space, so I went with the size 13's. Wish you made it in a 12 1/2, would've fit ideally. Some of the other brands had zero comfort in their athletic safety shoes. I always wonder how products that are sooooooo uncomfortable make it to market. Maybe the designers should wear them before they flood the market with junk. Keep up the good work New Balance!

I work with landscaping materials and power tools, and these shoes can take quite a beating. Materials do drop from time to time, but these shoes keep me well-protected. Not only that, but they are incredibly comfortable.

These are my second pair. The only thing is the inside of the heel wears out I have inserts in them but they are light weight and I don't think I'm gonna change work shoes

My feet can breath at the same time the steel toed protection is there. Very comfortable shoe!

I have been having foot pain but the foot Dr couldn't find a specific cause. I bought these for work shoes and my foot is getting better after only a few weeks. Plus my toes don't get hurt when I drop stuff. I can't speak to their durability, but so far they are great

Use the product around house for work. The toe in this shoe is like steel.....very strong. Measured foot accurately with NB downloadable foot measure for width as there will never be any give...and it was true to chart. The shoe has no give in the toe box...no breaking in, so make sure you get proper size and width.
