These are fairly lightweight for a New Balance shoe but they run narrow and there is no room in the toe. The toe shape is pointed, why would anyone want a running shoe with a pointed toe. I really do wish the euro shape toebox were more available. My feet aren't pointed.

This is by far the most attractive running shoe in a women's wide size. I desperately wanted it to fit, because I am sick of being stuck with ugly shoes. Mizuno and Brooks fit me best, but they only have 1-2 styles in wide and you are stuck with 1-2 color choices (always the most horrific ones). New Balance makes some good looking shoes, but it's so hard to get a good comfortable fit. That is the case here. This is the best looking wide shoe across all brands that sell road runners. I ordered half size up, as usual, but alas, this wide is far too narrow for my D width feet. I ordered the full size up, which fits in the width but is too long. Also absolutely zero arch support. Can't make it work. :(

Good quality & attractive. Helpful for pronation. Good cushioning. Runs short, try a half size up. Also, toe box is tighter than most of the 2A width running shoes I have tried. Another reason to size up.

This sneaker is soooo disappointing! The first thing I noticed about when I opened the box [also previous size] was the overwhelming smell of rubber. I guess if you put them outside or in the sun it will dissipate. Unfortunately, I must return these sneakers. they are not available in WW, so I sized up 1/2 size hoping that would provide a little extra width. Not so. Sad to say I'm returning them. I love the color, but I love ZAPPOS even more!! Thanks Zappos for your generous return policy and awesome customer service!

Zappos has awesome customer service. I ordered a pair of 1260v6 but they sent me a wrong style and size. They not only refunded my money but sent me a 1260v7 for free as they did not have anymore 1260v6 in my size. I also get to keep the pair that was the wrong style and size which I donated to the hospital where I work. I love the 1260v7. I have been wearing New Balance 1260 series for years now. This one tops the chart for me, right width and padding. Thank you Zappos for treating your customer right. This was the first time I ordered shoes from Zappos, definitely will do so again in the future.

Liked everything about these EXCEPT that it was uncomfortably tight across the ball of my foot. A first in my experience with New Balance.

I love the color and the fact that these shoes are very light weight. My feet didn't love them because they feel about 1/2 size too small and are not wide enough. I am returning them and ordering up 1/2 size and keeping my fingers crossed that the new ones will fit better. I wear full length orthotics and these NB squeaked with every step I took. I'm hoping the new sneakers will not squeak, but I will put up with squeaking for comfort!!

This upgrade to the 1260 running shoe is lacking the support for overpronators that previous models had. Time to search for a new shoe...

I loved the support and comfort of the V6 ... I have an ankle that pronates inward due to breaking it years ago and the support of the V6 model was great. I didn't realize they discontinue designs so I have no sneaker to wear now after searching forever for the V6 model. The V7 is HORRIBLE and nothing like the V6. For starters the material under the shoelace area inside the shoe is thick an bulky and dug into the top of my foot. Feel like they are very poorly designed and not well made. SO DISAPPOINTED!!

Unfortunately the shape of the sneaker had my ankles rolling inward even more than without. The footbed is well cushioned but I felt no arch support. I don't typically take a wide size but perhaps a double wide would have moved the arch more to stop rolling. 2nd NB I tried in my current search and I returned for Ascics.

I absolutely LOVE these shoes! I am a long time wearer of New Balance and always have the higher number versions for the stability control, but these are my favourite pair to date. I will say I cannot comment on the arch support because I have custom orthotics. There is a removable insole so that you can swap those out if needed. The shoe has been sturdy, is gently curved so it makes walking easier, they are stylish and go with shorts, jeans, etc, breathable, and made extremely well. I would buy them again in a heartbeat!

I really like these shoes because of they have good motion control and are stabilising. My only issue with them, is that when I am in a position doing push ups or planks, the part around the ankle seems to slip a little and my foot comes out. I'm not sure if this is related to my narrow heels or the shoe's design. Likely the former.

I absolutely love this shoe! BUT I have a super narrow foot, with a "boney" forefoot. So I shopped for many hours to find a running shoe with a low profile toe box (I need narrow on the whole shoe). I ordered a half size up from my other shoes and BANG! Purrrfect fit. For me. I would not suggest it if you need extra room in the toe box...but if you have skinny feet from the heel to toes, you have found your shoe! I am going to order more while I can!

Narrow Width Review: I am a 6 1/2, Narrow/2A, and found this to be the perfect walking shoe for me. I totally agree with everyone who said to order up a half size. Glad I did that. I use the insole which came with the shoe, prescription orthotics and still have room for a moderate to thick sock. Fit and performance is paramount to me (I don't give a fig for fashion or looks in exercise shoes), but I have to say this is by far the most attractive exercise shoe I have ever had. People with wide feet need to remember that there are those whose feet are slender, delicate and, yes, sometimes a little pointed. If you order up a half size and select the correct width, this shoe is great!

I'm an overpronator who sometimes gets plantar fasciitis and does some moderate running, and I love these shoes. I wear them with a Superfeet green insert. I wore out the first pair, and just bought a second pair. The second didn't need breaking in at all, and they are extremely comfortable and have the right amount of stiffness in the sole and cushion for my feet. I definitely recommend these shoes! My only two beefs with this shoe are: 1) they never have the cool indigo color in my size, and I'm not wild about the turquoise or blue colors (both of which I now own) 2) the upper on the shoe is really flexible, which is fine for running, but really stinks for anything requiring pivoting on your feet. This is definitely not a shoe you could use for cross training or boot camp.

comfortable and plenty wide enough for my bunion, room enough for my inserts, love the style, does not make my foot look so wide. Zappos is a great company, love the free returns as I am hard to fit.

These were cute and comfy, but the heel slipped down with every step, even with the additional ankle laces in place. So, I returned these.

Was trying to replace old NBs. Wear 10.5 N with multiple foot issues. The soles were too thin, no better than old ones. Returned.

Am trying HOKA in a med. Adding orthotics to get better arch support & to make them tighter.

Really nice shoe, but as with most of the brands, a half size too short. Can't go to an 11 N because they get wider than I can wear. Overall, though, a good buy if it fits.

I've been wearing the 1260 through many versions and updates, but this V7 lost me. They just don't feel as good or as supportive as my previous versions, and I've been buying two pairs of these every year or so for a long time. Also, the colors this year are not appealing to me. So I guess I'll have to keep looking.

The bottom is very comfortable however I am a narrow size and this shoe was tight around my whole foot. I would order a size bigger when ordering.

Have worn 1260 for a while but this new model is not like the 1260 v6. Made my feet hurt.
