These things have more tread than the tires on my car! Seriously, they're just what I was looking for to replace a similar pair that are well past their usable life. The only warning I would add is that they are quite snug across the top of the foot. That was a problem for me because I have a very high instep, and I almost returned them. However, after quite a bit of thought, I decided to cut out the elastic on one side and remove it to about halfway. (I knew I could not return them if that little adjustment failed.) Success! Now they're perfect.

I ordered these to replace a similar pair of Salomon snow clogs that I LOVE that are 10+ years old. I found these hard to get in and out of because the mouth of the shoe is SO tight. It's also really tight across the arch-to-ankle area, and I don't think the materials will stretch. I find the toebox to be roomy, even with thicker socks (and I have a wider foot). I usually wear size 9.5-10, and the length on the size 9 was fine for me. Unfortunately, because of the tightness across the top, these have to go back.

I really can't believe these shoes are supposed to be worn when dealing with snow and ice!! I've lived in MN and AK my whole life so I've had just a little experience with walking in and dealing with wintry conditions... only about 5 months out of every year!! These shoes are comfortable, and the padding by the ankle is great, but they are not good at all for walking outside in winter!! I've almost slipped and fallen twice with these on... once on about 1/2" of snow on a sidewalk. And, no, we didn't have freezing rain first. These are worse than my generic hiking shoes that are not made for winter wear like these snow clogs supposedly are. Unless you live in Phoenix or somewhere that never gets snow and ice in winter... I'd stay away from these shoes. Or just wear them in the seasons with NO snow like I do.

I live in Tucson, Arizona and have no need for snow clogs. But, being a senior who has fallen, these shoes are incredibly stable with good grip. They are quite wide which helps with a neuroma in one foot. Although they are rather clunky looking, I've gotton lots of compliments. I've bought 2 pair of this snow clog and am wearing them daily instead of a typical walking or running shoe. I love them and if it ever snows in Tucson, I'll be ready!

I ordered these to replace a pair of Salomon snow clogs that are several years old. In length, these are true to Salomon size. In addition to snow clogs, I own a pair of Salomon softshell boots. Both are size 9 and the size 9 in this newer edition was the correct length. I'm returning this updated version because the clogs wouldn't stay on my feet. My narrow heels kept lifting out of them. The sole is so stiff I couldn't flex it, which probably contributed to the problem of the shoe parting company with my foot. I have low volume feet and the toebox fit snugly with a pair of midweight Smartwool socks. I suspect anyone with a wide or high volume/high arch foot will not be happy with these shoes.

For me, with narrow heels, I had to send them back. Bummer. I had the original Snow Clogs they made and they've changed a lot over the years. Alas, the wide heel didn't hold my foot in place, they slid off as I walked. Wish they made 'em like they used to. (I think that about the original Jack Purcell sneakers, Palladium low-cuts, etc, etc, etc. My old staples...)

I have an older pair of Salomon snow shoes that I was hoping to find something similar to them. I ordered the Salomon Snow Clog and two other brands in a slightly larger size so that I could wear heavy socks with them. After trying all three on, the Salomon Snow Clog was definitely the winner. The other two, Keen and Merrell, were much smaller and not as comfortable as the Salomon. I have a wide foot and these are very comfortable. They have a fairly good grip on slick surfaces and are very warm in snow. Very happy with this purchase.

My usual size fit perfectly everywhere except in the heel which was too wide for my narrow heel - so my heel slipped out with every step. If these came out in a tighter heel cup I would jump on them!! They are extremely well made and sturdy.

This shoes are amazing (my second pair). I have foot issues and I never have pain with these shoes.

Nicest clog, snow or not, that I've bought in a long time! At first and second try-on, they fit really nice. I wear smartwool socks, and the combination is great. Slight slippage of the heel, but not enough to disqualify.

Comfortable and practical. I can wear these for long walks with comfort, which is not the case with most shoes like these. An additional plus is that they're easy on/easy off.

I was hoping to have a slip on for the Winter, but I need something heavier duty. Seems like a good shoe though.

I just purchased these shoes and love them. I tried on a similar pair from Merrill.. the fit was similar, but these Solomon have a knit trim around the opening of the shoe which make them soft against your foot. Superior to the Merrills.

Love this shoe, it's my 2nd pair. Great for winter. They are warm and sturdy and also very cool looking. I get lots of compliments on them.

A little snug first few wears but now perfect fit

I live in the Colorado mountains and needed a shoe that had real good trend for walking on the snow and these fit the bill. These shoes needed no breaking in and were comfortable the first time I put them on. You won't be disappointed if you order this shoe.

Love these snow clogs. Comfortable and great to walk in snow or icy surfaces. I ordered my husband a pair and he loves them too!

Just what I was looking for! A slip on snow shoe / clog with excellent traction! Like wearing athletic shoes only much warmer! I would buy again!

I have had a similar snow clog from Solomon in the past and eventually wore it out so I'm glad Solomon is making this again. Unfortunately it runs a little large so I have to exchange it.

I usually wear 9 and have no issue. These felt very snug with regular socks on. The tread is awesome and I wanted to like these but will return because I don't think they will stretch out much. They were not terrible to get on but overall too snug once on. Solidly built shoes but consider a half size up perhaps. The color was grey and not too cute. If these were cuter and they could easily be in color- I might have gotten another size.
