Cute shoe. i didn't know that the shoe is rubber but i ended up keeping it. it runs a half size large. i'm usually an 8.5 and i ordered an 8 according to reviews and it was perfect. after wearing it for a while it got some holes in the front of both shoes, i contacted Hunter and they asked for pictures and approved a new one for me free of charge. i am grateful and happy that i bought it.

Oh, these are so cute and I tried so hard to keep them! But they just don't fit my feet. They gapped at the instep, they dug in hard at the heels, and for some reason they made me clomp when I walked. I tried a bunch of modifications -- heel lifts, arch inserts, heel grips -- but nothing made them fit. It's a testament to how fun these purple rain loafers are that I tried so hard. They run a little wide which is good for me -- I'm a C width, and these fit me well in the toes. I'm usually a 7.5 and they were too small in the 7 but a touch big in the 8, which might account for the clomping. Happy to note they have removable insoles, great if you have orthotics or want to modify the arch. Which you might need to because they have little to no arch support.

The shoe runs large, but once I put my orthotics in the fit was fine. Also comes with heel grabbers, so no slippage. A good basic shoe which is very comfortable for commuting.

LOVE these shoes - SO comfortable and the style...but they just gap too much to keep. the gaps are on both sides of your foot. It looks funny and definitely seems like it would catch a lot of water...which kind of defeats the purpose. Bummed to return them. If it weren't for how they gapped/warped on the sides they would be keepers.

These are adorable and comfortable, and rainproof! Sadly, I am the size in between these sizes. And yes, they run large.

Very interesting shoe. I didn't read the ad close enough,. They are plastic like the boot but I liked them. They looked very nice. Although I had to return they were to big. Even though I expected leather I would have kept them they looked very nice.

Loved these shoes soooo very much. Love the style and the comfort. Wore these over and over. Especially love them while wearing tights and shirts. HOWERVER, my feet smell terrible after wearing these as they can’t breathe in the rubber material and just breed bacteria. I even took the insert out to wash it. It didn’t make a difference. If your feet sweat very little, buy these! If your feet are like mine and sweat more, beware of the smell. It just never goes away. (I did not try foot spray- possible that helps).

Flat interior. No arch support. As another reviewer noted the exterior of shoe rim gaps with each step. They are very cute and penny-loafer stylish. No reason to keep a waterproof shoe if it gaps and will allow rain in with each step. Silly. Ran true to my usual size.

beautiful shoe fits big!

Loved these loafers, unfortunately.. the size 8 was too big and the size 7 did not fit just right either, (I am a 7.5). I am very sad that I have to return them, but Zappos has such a fantastic return policy.. they made it very easy!! Seriously. If you are a whole size, you should buy these!!

These shoes are comfortable, stylish, and functional. I'm so glad I got these rain shoes instead of rain boots. I highly recommend them!? However, the size is one full size larger! I wear a size 6.5 - 7, but size 6 was just right for me. The first pairs I ordered US size 7. But when I received, it said they were size 38 in Europian size on the box. I immediately knew they were too big for me because I always wear 37. I believe 38 is the equivalent of the US size 7.5. I wish Zappos would list all of the different sizing (US, Euro, UK, etc.) written on the box, especially for Europian shoes, on their website. That would give customers a little better ideas about the sizes. I hope this is helpful.

Advice about sizing down is right, *unless* you need room in the toebox. I run between 7-7.5 in shoe world generally (38-39), and both when I followed the advice and when the widget estimated the right size I ended up with a 7. But the 7 was both too tight in the toebox and too short overall, which put pressure on front of toes as well as the bunion. The 8 is looser through heel and midfoot, but with arch supports, which the shoe needs, and the heel grabbers included the shoe is plenty comfortable. It's so smart to make a sleek loafer out of classic Hunter rubber that the momentary bit of gap is worth it.

These shoes are beautiful and would have been perfect for work with slacks this fall and winter. Although comfortable, they were too big, even with thicker socks. I am sad to send them back!

Love the style but they rubbed blisters on my heels.

These were extremely largeand not very stylish I was disappointed as I am looking for a simple classic penny loafer. The fact that they are rubber and totally waterproof is a great idea.
