Runs a little big. I 'm usually a women's size 9 and after wearing a size 9 for a little bit I had a lot of extra room.

So I wore these out for the first time to a company picnic with some denim shorts. I had so many compliments! I also stood on my feet mingling for most of the day, watched relay races standing up, the whole time. I do have back and leg issues, and it didn't bother me at all. I'm also only 5'2" and I LOVE the boost in height it gives me. I highly recommend these shoes. You can dress it up or down. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

Worn them a dozen or more times so far... They are definitely taking some breaking in. Nothing unbearable once you realize that and adjust (thick socks + strategic Band-Aids, in my case). Sturdy, beautiful boots. I'm a 10, ordered women's 9. Perfect fit.

I normally wear a women’s size 7 or men’s size 5. I am a men’s size 4 in this boot and it fits perfectly. The platform is 1” high and is perfect to give my legs a little extra length when I ride my motorcycle. Very comfortable right out of the box

These boots are super cute but they run larger than the other dr Martins I have. For this pair, size down.

I ordered a 9 because the 10 felt much too big when I tried them on in the dr. Martens store, but I had to return the 9 to Zappos because my toes didn’t have any room at the front. The shoe was out of stock in all sizes by that time so I wound up having to order a size 10 from another vendor. A plus is I got them on sale from the other vendor.

I was so excited to receive these docs. They were the shoes I wanted when I am sixteen and my mother hated them. Unfortunately, they run a bit wide and my heels were lifting even with a pair of thick socks. I, therefore, had to return them. It is unfortunate they do not come in a narrow size.

I love the style of these boots. The heel is great, and not typical for Docs. They would look terrific with jeans or a skirt, and probably still offer the comfort of Doc Martin soles. They were, unfortunately, much narrower than any of my other Docs (Vondas and other styles) – so much so that they were painful to wear. I never even made it to the left boot – once the right boot was on my foot, I knew they were not going to fit, even with some breaking in. I hated to return them, as I loved their look, but they just weren’t going to work for me.

I have the Docs work boot, but I wanted something similar but with a higher heel. I felt the shaft of the boot felt cheap. The leather was thin, and almost felt like pleather. The leather had a bit of a shine to it, which was something I didn't care for. Also the laces were so thin and cheap. My work boot had better laces! They were very comfortable walking around my house. No rubbing, or hurting my feet. But I decided to return because they just didn't do it for me.

Love the style of the boot! I’m typically a 6.5 in dress shoes but sometimes a 7 in Nikes. I have a narrow foot. I ordered a 6 & 7 to try at home. Unfortunately the 6 was tight in toes and small and the 7 was huge on my foot. Please make 1/2 sizes…. Returning both sizes

Too big - I'm returning for a size smaller. They're also heavy! Welcome back to the 90s.

Love the look of these. They do run a bit narrow and about a half size larger than other US7 docs I’ve had in the past. They did crease super weird. Almost like the top layer is separating from the leather. But only on one foot. The laces are super cheap and are already pilling after wearing them twice. Definitely need to replace them. Overall, disappointed in the quality of these boots. I’ve owned over 8 pairs of docs that I’ve worn regularly over the last decade and have never had these issues. My kids have worn and reworn docs regularly and have only had issues with fabric styles because they’re kids and they’re tough on shoes. Wasn’t expecting this from leather docs

I ordered a size down from a 7 to a 6- I have wide feet and the toe box is narrow. I'm hoping to break them in and that they will fit better. I originally tried a size 7 but that was too big. Wish they had 1/2 sizes. Got a pair of the 1460's and those fit great.

Nice boots but seem to run really large, like 1-2 sizes. I like them a lot but the leather is brown with a black plastic type material overlay. The laces are a joke and are so thin and flimsy. I think for the price they’re not worth it because I don’t see them lasting like my other docs. Sent them back.

So big!!! Im a 7.5 and this was at least 2'' too big!!!

I first bought a pair of black Leona’s in 2014 and wore them almost daily until last week, when I realized the heels had worn down to the point they had no more tread. But it took TEN YEARS to do that. I have a club foot so I drag one foot, you can clearly see that in the wear on the sole, but again, TEN YEARS!!! of near-daily use. And even scuffed up and battered, they still look amazing. So naturally I bought the exact same boot again, just got them today, and did a little side by side photo shoot. Seriously, buy them. They might seem expensive, but it takes a decade to wear them out.

Very comfortable and cute! These boots definitely run big. I’m a 7.5 and I got these in a size 7 (since they only run in whole sizes), which fit perfectly.

I have a very hard time finding shoes due to my wide and flat feet. I learned recently that most Docs are made in D width. I was skeptical. I love these shoes. A little stiff right out of the box but such a classic and iconic look and I don't feel like my feet are busting out of them. For sure worth the investment.

I ordered two pairs of Dr. Martens to determine which I preferred, the Leona 7 Hook and the 1460 Pascal Virginia. I fully expected that the Leona would be the more flattering but the less comfortable of the two and that I would be faced with a difficult choice. Happily, the Leona was both cuter and much more comfortable. I found that the 1460 dug uncomfortably into the the tops of my feet. I ordered both in a size 9. I usually wear a size 9 or 9 1/2 in dress shoes and a 10 in sneakers.
