These shoes are comfortable to wear AND delightful to behold. I wear them to work proudly, and people often comment on how awesome my shoes are. I can't help but talk to them about them. I tell them how the shoe has no tongue, but like...a sock? And then, of course, I have to show them because I don't know how to describe things when I speak aloud. They even have little leather loops on the back so that you don't need one of those metal spoons to force your foot into the shoe like you're one of Cinderella's stepsisters. The laces come untied a lot, which has caused me to use a double bow knot to keep them secure. The shoes did come back a little tight along the sides at first, but that was my own fault for not ordering wider shoes. Overall, I love these shoes so much.

My husband loves these shoes for work where he does a lot of walking so much so that we recently bought them in a second color! He says the arch support is great and they have the comfort of a tennis shoe but can be dressed up or down. The pair we bought first (about a year ago) has held up great, even through our midwest winters.

Comfort and style! My husband wouldn't let me put these in the cart....good thing I didn't listen. These shoes have a beautiful suede upper with a 'scree skirt' to keep pebbles and debris at bay. Hubby's flat arches are well-supported. He plans to walk all over Europe in these stylish shoes.

My husband thinks these are the best things since sliced bread. He constantly battles shoes that are too narrow. These didn't require any breaking in, and felt great from the start. They have the comfort of a sneaker, yet have a dressier edge. The elastic part was weird at first (didn't notice it in the photos), yet it turns out to give them a nice, clean look because it appears like a perfectly placed sock. We got the grey nubuck pair with the brown trim.

the wides run very narrow

Felt a little tight at first but broke in well. Yes, they are a bit narrow, but not a problem.

I bought these shoes for work, I walk about 5 to 7 miles a day, they are amazingly comfortable . I just purchased my second pair.

These are great but had to order a half size larger as they tend to run a little short much like an atheletic shoe.

I am very happy with these shoes. I have a problem with getting shoes that are the right combination of toe width and heel width. My toes are wide relative to my heel. Wide shoes (size "E") won't work because they have a wider heel too. These shoes have a unique rubber like tongue that wraps around the heel. Kind of like a shirt collar. I ordered regular width shoes (size "D") that were a half size larger than my length would indicate. The collar holds my heel in position, while giving my toes the width they need. Highly recommended.

Comfortable, light, and stylish. I purchased these for a trip to cover walking and decent casual shoes as needed. They are extremely light and very soft and comfortable! The only negative I can find is the inner shell can get a little warm due to the comfort lining but a thin sock solved that problem. I can wear them comfortably without socks even. Great shoes!!

I bought these shoes for my 93 year old father who was having balance problems and could no longer wear hard soled shoes. He has heart bypass surgery about 5 years ago and had the feeling that his right foot has some swelling, but it's just more sensitive from the vein taken out of that leg for the bypass. This shoe in a wide was the perfect fit across the top of his foot. He is 5'8" and only 142 pounds and though his feet look thin, they are typically more comfortable in a shoe that has a wide width available. The shoes looked very up to date on him and they were very comfortable and stable like a tennis shoe. He wore them for dress/casual and felt very good about himself.

Bought a black pair of the Puppies,loved the feel of that shoe so much got these cool blue suede ones. Look awesome with blue jeans! Super comfortable and supportive.

larger than advertised too narrow good support

I would have kept them if the finger tab on the top of the heel didn't break so easily only the second time I wore them. And I would bet money that the tab is not leather, but if it actually is leather it's very weak because I hardly even pulled on this tab, which by the way, I expected to be pulled; that's what it's there for! So I would not expect anything different with a replacement paid so I returned them for refund. A big no for me - Poor quality, especially at this price. They run large so if you decide to buy these cheap shoes, I would step 1/2 size down.
