I love these shoes so much I bought both the pear green/black and these purple/mutant orange/gray camo ones. As a sedate 53-year-old woman, wearing these BRIGHT clownlike shoes has taken a surprising amount of courage. I wish they'd make the women's shape in the black/gray combo that's available for men! As it is, I'm embracing my late entry into neons and accepting it as a belated adolescence. Aside from the color choices, I have to say I love everything about these shoes. They are super comfortable. Plenty of room for my wide toes, but narrow enough in the heel not to slip. I had never worn zero drop shoes, and I worried they'd hurt my achilles tendons/calfs/ankles, but because they are SOOOO cushioned, I had no transition difficulties at all. And OH MY GOODNESS do my feet, ankles, knees, hips, and back feel better in these shoes. Life-changing. I used to get to the end of the day with my dogs barking, ready to take off my shoes and put my feet up. Now I forget I'm even wearing shoes. I can walk literally miles without any discomfort at all. I usually wear an 8 and that's what fit in these.

Love these - took me a long time to get to these and was very fortunate that Zappos was patient enough with me. I am going to be hiking in southern Spain and needed lightweight, comfort, stability, cushion and a little funk and believe I have found it. With both hip and knees issues I couldn't afford to compromise on this trip. Thank you for putting up with me.

I tried the Torin 3.5 and found it too squishy. Its like a mattress - if its too soft, it might actually not feel supportive. These on the other hand, feel more like the Hoka, harder, but actually are super comfortable and springy. Why am I returning these? I got the 9.5, and I'm normally a size 9, and found it just didn't fit right. I might have kept these, but oddly they had no traction in my gym locker room. Its a tile floor, and I was sliding around on water left by people who had wet feet. I felt like I could have easily slipped and fallen. I also wasn't crazy about the grip on the treadmill. These would have been a 5 star. Oh for people that get hot feet, all the Altra's felt hot to me. I'm going to try On Cloud next, this was my favorite in the past.

the colors and fabric are awesome, shimmery actually, love it; however, it's the side lacing that doesn't work for me (the lacing rubs on the side of the top of my foot in a weird way -very uncomfortable)

Cute and adorable well cushioned, but unfortunately short. My other Altras are 9.5 and sure perfect. Theses see 9.5 and my big toe hits the front of fhe tie box, while the rest of the sneezers us a bit too roomy. Unfortunately they are going back. Unfortunately they are going back

These shoes are a great idea!! Unfortunately, for trail RUNNING they fall far short of my expectations. I am on my fourth pair of Altra Lone Peak (3.0). The Timp is supposed to be higher cushion, but it feels much harder. Also, the real deal breaker is the very rigid support on the bottom of the foot bed/sole of the shoe that aligns perfectly where my foot strikes while running. This is not comfortable and over the course of many miles would create problems for me. Lastly, the weird bit at the heal that sticks out also makes real trail running problematic, as it would potentially catch on roots and rocks while going down steep inclines. This may be a great hiking shoe, but for me NOT a great trail RUNNING shoe. Hope the next version is better!

I bought these shoes for the wide toebox. I have been suffering with Morton’s Naroma. As soon as they put the shoes on my feet were in heaven! It allows lots of room for the toes to spread. Good cushion and a great trail shoe ! I haven’t taken them off in two days. Love love love them !!

At 70 these shoes are wonderful. They provide the support and the cushioning I need. I also like the style. If I could tweak anything, I'd only add a small cut in the shoe tongue for laces to go through so tongue won't slide as I walk.

I love the comfort of these shoes. I've had several surgeries on my feet and not all shoes are comfortable...but these i wear all day and for hiking too. I would recommend them for sure. I just ordered another pair.

These are the most comforrtable shoes I have erver owned. I hve very wide feet and the large toe box is perfect. I live in a warmer climate and hiking shoes are not always comfortable for trail running/hiking. These are perfect light weight but sill give good support. I also love that there is no velcro strap accross the top to fiddle with like some of the Alta styles.

This is my second pair for more serious outdoor walking. The first pair is my usual 7, this pair 7.5. The 7s are perfect for walking around during the daytime. Would be great for any flatland walking. The 7.5s are perfect for up and down the hills, as my toes don’t get bumped going down. Thanks, Zappos, for carrying shoes for EVERY pair of feet!

I have been wearing the Superiors since I ruptured my platar fascia. I decide to try out a "high" cushioning to help prevent further injury, as I am just happy to be able to run again. These are fantastic. My foot didn't hurt at all on the 5 mile run I did today. Roomy toe box, hugs my heal and just feels comfortable all around. I did notice that if I didn't lace all the way up (they came laced to the second hole) that they did slip and my toes would hit the front of the shoe. After I laced all the way up, it was fine. I wore barefoot or minimalist since 2009, so a cushioned shoe is new to me, but my foot feels good in these.

I love these shoes! I bought these in Orchid to replace my Olympus 1.5's. I normally wear an 8.5 but in athletic shoes (skechers, keens) I wear a 9M. I ordered 9M in these and they are perfect with midweight sock. I have low arches, and sensitive feet when it comes to pressure points inside the shoe. I wore these for a few hours around the house and I didn't want to take them off. I bought these for trail/daily walking. They are cushy comfortable with plenty of room for my toes to spread out. These are smaller in scale than the Olympus 1.5 's and I love that. I love the color and how light weight they are on my feet. Considering ordering the green or blue in the future.
