After 17 years on granite floors, my feet suffer. The Bondi helps so much! New Balance used to be my shoe, but Hoka has much more cushioning.
They aren't a cute shoe, but pretty much past that being a consideration!

I wear Bondi almost exclusively for plantar faciitis because of the superior plushy heel. For fall/winter/rainy weather, thought this pair would be a good choice for my everyday wardrobe. However, they are very unattractive to wear with everyday clothing. These would be great for work shoes but not for casual dress. They are plushy and comfortable but not pretty whatsoever. The good news is my hubby has decided he wants a pair of these when his current work shoes wear out because they are very well made and have excellent arch and heel support. I will recommend them for work attire only.

I bought a pair of Hoka One One shoes for summer and loved them. But I need something warm for winter. These are just what I wanted. Very stable and comfortable. The only thing I wonder about is the fact that they are supposed to be leather but the material doesn't look or seem like leather.

I have 2 pairs of the Clifton 4 that are wonderfully comfortable. I bought the Bondi for when the weather turns cold and rainy, as the Clifton has a mesh upper suitable for warm weather only. I use both pairs only for walking. The Bondi looks much bigger than the Clifton on the outside, but the fit is about the same. The Bondi is not as cushioned as the Clifford and the arch seems slightly different-my bad knee can tell the difference. It may just need more of a break-in period since it is leather. Overall, it's a horribly ugly shoe, but I'm old and don't care.

I had to make the switch from the Valor shoe since it's not made anymore. I wear a women's 11 so it's challenging to find ANY shoe that comfortable and looks halfway decent. Been through most brands and Hoka seems to work the best for me

Own a nylon pair of Bondi 5 and wanted a second pair because they are so awesome. Sold out of this model and size in nylon so decided to try the "leather". It is more like a plastic or knock off leather that is very stiff. If you are looking for a hard type upper shoe that is waterproof on top this may work for you. The ease and freedom performance on the top of the shoe was not the same as the nylon design so I sent it back.

A couple of months ago I wrote a review which said that I was going to return the LTR BLACK LEATHER. But I did not!!!
I gave the shoes another chance - thanks to the easy "wear and try" policy. After a couple of weeks I realized that the shoes were better than I thought. Still not as soft (outer and inner soles) than I would like - but after an 8 hour shift as a restaurant server, my feet did NOT hurt! And My feet have become very sensitive over the decades. So I have to be fair to the company, and advise potential customers to "try" this particular shoe. The likelihood that people will like the LTR is rather high, i think. So much so that I will buy it again when this pair wears out. And who knows maybe by that time HOKKA will have come up with a softer sole. Inner sole at least. I did try the bondi leather and the fit was not as good for my feet. The fit is a personal matter. But the quality is not. So THANKS TO HOKKA - well worth the price!

I have this model in the non-leather and wanted the leather for cooler weather. I did not expect that the tread would be so different and it picks up a whole lot of rocks and teeny pebbles that are hard to remove from the tread. Also, I notice that the heels of my feet slip when walking. They do feel comfortable, however.

I never write reviews but needed to with this because of my utter disappointment. These are expensive shoes and they are so so comfortable but within 2.5 months they fell apart, which is really absurd for an $160 shoe. The seam on the outer paneling split apart and the paneling on the soles is coming off completely. I don't run in them or anything just walking. really disappointed. I hope hoka can fix this issue seems like a new thing because their older models last forever- other than this I love hokas soooo much they do wonders for my feet and back! But can't buy a shoe for this much if it lasts for barely any time at all

This is my 3rd pair but first in leather. I wanted to get it to use for work so that it didn't look that much like a sneaker. But I am disappointed in the way it looks and fits. The toe is very round and wide, not like the others that I bought. My other bondis are great and comfortable and really nice looking. It was expensive and not sure I would buy it again. It is just sitting in my closet and I don't even wear it.

I bought these shoes because I'm a bartender, and they were recommended for nurses. The shoe is made extremely well and is attractive as much as a shoe that actually supports your feet can be. My extremely wide-for-a-woman flipper feet fit nicely into the Wide toe box and the shoe size was exactly right based on the measurement guide on the website. However, these shoes did not work for me. I'm morbidly obese and spend 11.5 hrs/5 days a week on my feet. The cushion is "plush", but for me that turned out to mean not much support. My feet were aching by 3 hrs in. Moreover, the responsiveness being low meant when I needed to move faster, I felt like I was dragging these shoes with me. They were somewhat slip resistant, but they didn't hold up on our greasy kitchen floor as well as my go-to work shoes. I'm not totally against these, but I might actually buy the running shoes, as I need responsiveness and stability for work.

I had to return my purchase, as the design of this shoe has changed since I last purchased, and now the seam of the toe box runs right across my arthritic toe. I have worn Hoka's for several years and they have always met my needs, and after I do some on line searches of other Hoka's more suited to my specific foot problems, will certainly purchase another pair.

I have a pair of Hoka's that I loved. Toe wore through the mesh pretty quick. Thought I'd try the leather ones. Not nearly as comfortable as the original pair I have.

I regret buying these shoes. The color and design are very unappealing. I wanted a waterproof Bondi shoe but really don't like the 1 available color. It's plain and ugly. 3 stars for comfort only.

Overall it's a good shoe. I bought the leather version for winter wear because the regular Bondi mesh made my feet cold in cooler weather. The leather version is much warmer. But because it's a less stretchy upper, it feels too tight, even in wide width. Hopefully it stretches with wear.

These shoes are so comfortable!! But for the price the soles of the shoes wear out way to quickly. Please, please, please mage the soles more durable and I will always wear Hoka!

It was way to big. I have been wearing the bondi and the leather version was much larger.
I found a store in Ithaca and bought a different version of the bondi. I have been wearing a sneaker that is too big for me

These look great and I really want them to work, but even in size wide they feel too narrow and snug. I have a few pairs of Bondi 5's in same exact size and they fit great- they are roomy in toe box and wide enough. While I appreciate all the cushion the Bondi 6 has, I just wish the wide actually felt "wide". Hoka didn't need to change perfection.

Wanted to like them for their cushioning as they did help make feet feel good and less sore when on them working for couple hours at least straight. But over a week of wearing them 4 - 5 hours a day I started having pain in the back of my knee and hip. Changed shoes and pain went away.
It may just be me - I supinate so maybe the cushioning and rocker design forced me to alter my gate and caused the pain. This style does have the most cushioning and even when I tried a pair with the mid level cushioning shoes I noticed knee strain again.

I wish this shoe had better cushioning. It actually hurts my foot to wear it for very long. I bought these for work, but I don't think I will get much wear out of them. I should have listened to the other reviewers who had the same issue.
