These are one of the most comfortable pairs of hiking shoes that I have ever owned. They are comfortable and perfect.

As comfortable for daily wear as they are for a day long hike in varied terrain. Feet stay dry, grip is sure, and the toe box does not restrict.

This is my third pair. I use these for serious day hikes. They fit well, great traction and support. I highly recommend Teva hiking boots.

I use this for walking the dog and hiking. My right foot is a 13 and a half and the left 13 and the size 13 was not too tight. Some brands I have to jump to a 14 and then my left foot slides. It was comfortable right out of the box and I did 8 miles with no problems. Nice waterproofing. More attractive than I thought they would be in black.

Own several types shoes and sandals. All are five start products just can't seem to get them wide enough without going up two sizes. That's my current try. 14 instead of 12. Hoping they don't shrink if I get them wet. Will test these good in the next three weeks in the mountains.

I use these shoes for work. I am in construction and visit work sites frequently in addition to working in the office. They are too new for me to judge the durability yet. Ask me in about 6 months, but right now they seem to be doing well.

After spending a 2 months throughout northern New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine I have definitely worn these babies in. So comfortable and durable. They feel better with each day of use. Perfect for working or hiking. The virbram soles are by far top quality, don't buy anything else.

Used it during two week vacation in Patagonia. No complains. Before the trip wore them about a week to the office to get used to.

Thank you Teva for bringing forth boots! Been wearing the original Riva eVent hiking boots in blue for 2+ years now. I am a hardcore outdoor enthusiasts and gear geek that lives in the rugged western U.P.. Two of the best footwear Ive owened are the original Teva CHURN multi-sport shoe and the Teva Riva eVent boot. I can tell you these boots are everything a serious hiking boot should be - Light, supportive, athletic feel, waterproof, breathable, comfortable, and have grippy Vibram soles! There is vertualy no break-in time for this boot (though break-in of the tongue edge at the front of my ankle was necessary). Whoever designed the Riva eVent had talent and they hit all the marks. The's boots have a protective toe cap that's held up well and the design of this boot is a timeless work of functional art from every angle. If you are on the fence with this one, just GO FOR IT!!! I intend to stick with this design as long as they make them. Truly one of the greats from Teva!

I could have used a size larger, but I left the country and was not able to return in time so I just had to make do. Otherwise I have enjoyed this shoe so very much. I can stand the smaller size for a few hours then I have to come out of them. They're a very nice shoe, nothing flashy about them in any shape, fashion, or form. Just a PLAIN ole shoe. I wasn't buying for looks, but rather endurance, and comfort. I noticed the comfort the minute I put them on, even though they were a bit snug. But I left the country early the next morning.

The hooks for the laces dug into my ankle in one boot because I pronate. The other fit fine, although the forefoot wasn't particularly cushiony.

The boots are actually very comfortable and required almost no break in period but the tongue is way to wide and when you leave the boot up all the way it winds up putting a lot of pressure right underneath the edges of the tongue. Ive settled on just not lacing them up all the way.

I really like the fit of these. They're good and snug around the heel and arch, very roomy in the toes with no toe jam, lightweight. They also accommodate my orthotics! My main complaint is the laces: they're too long and much too slippery, which makes it hard to lace them securely and puts too much stress on the hooks. I swapped them out for an old pair of KEEN laces, big improvement.
