These do run half a size smaller, but they were not narrow on my feet. I have duck feet and have plenty of room for my toes. They look narrower than my Klogs making my feet look more dainty but have plenty of room. Very comfortable and the heal makes them look dressy as well. I was tempted to wear them with my black dress today because of their comfort and style. Very nice shoes! I have problems with a lot of pain in my feet and these feel perfect, no pain!!

I have owned Merrill for years. I bought two pair, one in black and one in brown. I love this style. The black, which I kept, fit well. The brown, which is the same size as the black, I could not get my foot into it. Spoke with reps, they too were at a loss. Returned the brown and kept the black.

Zappos is amazing! I tried these in 7 and they do run short. So I ordered 7.5 and 8, and am returning the 8. I think I'm going to like these a lot. Light, flexible but with moderate support. Fit wider feet well.

Very comfortable shoes just run a little small.

This is a beautiful shoe. Due to the fact that I have a narrow foot, I didn't "size up" as the reviews suggested, hence the 4 stars. I am reordering this shoe in a size 8 and hopefully, it will work for me.

These are cute shoes, but they just didn't work for me. I wear a size 7 medium and i like a little wiggle room in my shoes. Length was fine, but these run quite narrow. I wore the thinnest possible socks and it was still too tight. I tried a 7-1/2, but unfortunately that was too long and was still too narrow for me.

Toe box was too tight

I love the style of these but Merrell really needs to start making more wide shoes. For $120, I couldn't take the chance that these wouldn't stretch as much as I needed.

Nice shoe; nicely made. Comfortable to me except for the toe section which is too tight. I can't tell if the shoe is not quite wide enough there, or if it totally the lack of clearance for the small toes. At any rate, too tight.

I normally wear a size 7 Medium width. The 7 was too tight for me in width even with thin socks. I also tried a 7.5. The width was a little better, although still snug, but the length was too long. I had to return both.

I think these are replicas of the Patagonia Better Than Clogs, which are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I've always worn a 9 in Merrell's and that is true for the Emma's.

I am banking on these shoes loosening across the balls of my feet area. They're a tad narrow (as I was expecting based on other reviews), but the slight tightness felt (with thin socks on) is not uncomfortable. As they loosen up which I believe they will, I should experience an even better fit. I was concerned about the shoes being too snug to slip into, but they're not. They don't fit as loose as my previous clogs (easy to slide into), but that's okay. I like the way these clogs look on my feet: makes my feet look narrow and not clunky like a Dansko clog looks. Also no more loud noise sound when walking...these clogs are quiet as can be!

This is a good quality shoe and I really liked it but I found it to be a little loose in the heel so I couldn't make it work for me and had to send them back. I might try the narrow and see how that works.

Love the shoe. Thinking about ordering the Brunette color. Felt a tad narrow but hopefully they will stretch a bit.

I love these clogs! I recently tried two different Dansko clogs and either my foot changed or their fit is different - I returned both and tried these. At first I thought they were plastic because the finish on the leather is so smooth...thought they might look cheap. But actually the lack of embellishment and leather look dressy. I also love that the heels are 2". I'm a Merrill convert!

I bought two black pairs of these in a 7.5 so I can alternate them. They are my every day go-to shoes for work and home, and I've worn them for long hours walking. They offer much support, there is room enough for my toes and it doesn't take much to clean them up and have them looking like new again. They go well with business casual wear as well as jeans on the weekends, and I've worn them summer and winter. A big plus -- they have a non-slip sole.

I took everyone’s advice, and from previous experience with Merrells, I did order a half size up. They are comfortable and support my terrible feet well.

These are the only shoes that actually feel good on my “sensitive” right foot. Have owned several pair and hope they aren’t discontinued. Best customer service, also. Ordered on a Thursday evening and had them Friday — FREE SHIPPING! Love Zappos! (P.S. They were also $10 cheaper than on the Merrill site and they charge for shipping!).

They fit great. I got these for cooler weather so I haven’t worn them yet but I know they will be as good as my last pair.

I thought these ran true to size. I have narrow feet so that might make a difference. I typically wear a size 8 but bought an 8 1/2 based on reviews. I had to return them for an 8. Super comfortable.

These are fabulous clogs and I wear them every day. They are loose without socks and do run narrow. But that is fine for me. I wear a 9 but sized up to 9.5 fr the length. The are not the most stylish, but if you are a clog fan like me, comfort over jazzy looks are a winner for everyday wear.
