One of the most comfortable shoes I've worn. Holding up well so far. Only problem is, I want to wear them every day which makes me want to order extras.

I’m 67 with Parkinson’s. I take boxing lessons to help with coordination and balance. Most sneakers have bumpy soles that cause me to trip. The soles on these Merrells are even. No tripping! My boxing coach also highly recommends them as well.

I'm on my third pair of Vapor Gloves, and I think they are the best 'barefoot' shoes on the market - ideal for the gym, and great for running and hiking, once you're used to feeling the ground. They are feather light and have truly thin and flexible soles, which will let you feel everything while still protecting your feet from thorns and broken glass. They are also extremely durable and well-made - I am still wearing a pair that I wore on a 100-kilometer single-day hike (C&O Canal, look it up). Those ones are pretty beat, but the other pairs I have are still clean looking and vibrant after lots of abuse. The competing New Balance model or the Merrell Trail Glove are a good choice for those who are more bothered by walking on gravel, but honestly, you will get used to the sensation of the ground so quickly, you might as well just get these. The sole downside are that they don't have much positive traction at all, so in mud or snow you're going to be sliding around. That and the previous models had a heel pull tab, which has been eliminated this year. Buy these, use them for running and exercise, you will not regret it!
I'd also recommend:

Bought these for my boyfriend. The blue color was super cool and the feel of the shoe was like it was supposed to be. Barefoot feel but with sole protection. I'm gonna get some for myself as well!

I am not a runner, or even a walker really, but I work and run errands just like everyone else and think barefoot shoes are comfortable and make sense to wear (you know... because they're shaped like actual feet while having a zero-drop and a thin sole similar to walking barefoot). The Vapor Glove 3s are very comfortable indeed, and very nice bright color options as well to add a little flare to your day. The only thing I would change is make the Merrell logo much, much, much more discrete - I'm happy to advertise verbally for Merrell, but I am not a fan of labels.

A great show that is light weight and extremely comfortable. I wear them to not only hike in but to workout in.

I ordered these shoes to replace older Merrells of the same size. These were too long in the toes, and had a crease at the inner ankle bend spot when walking. I'll probably try a different shoe for Crossfit. I love this company and brand, so searching for the right model.

My son needed a pair of shoes for parkour, and we decided on these. They run large. My son usually wears a size 13, but the length way too big. He ended up ordering a 12 with extra room to spare. While he has not tried them out for parkour yet, he says they are comfortable, but it's an adjustment to walk an dirt roads as you feel the rocks, etc. The quality is great for a low profile shoe. Merrill has a great reputation for quality & durability.

These shoes are great. They look good and are very comfortable. My feet stay cool no matter how long I have them on. For my needs, I feel like they are a quality product.

I've been wearing the vapor glove's for years now because they're exactly what I want in a minimalist shoe. They're light, fit well, and have sturdy soles, above all, they allow me to feel the ground I'm walking on.

These are exactly what I was hoping they'd be. I wanted a pair of minimal sneakers that were subtle enough that I could wear them to work, to exercise, or on the weekends (chose the black color). With or without socks. I wanted to strengthen the tendons, muscles, and ligaments in my feet and my current shoes were creating weakness. These do the opposite. They literally feel like a glove wrapped around your foot with a grippy rubber bottom.

I have a slightly wide foot and most shoes are a vice for my feet. I also used to have constant knee pain until I started wearing these awesome shoes. The sole is super durable. The top canvas wears over time, but I appreciate the next level breathable quality.

I train in and run road races in Vapor Gloves 10 milers to marathons. I Liked then so much that I bought 2 more pair of Vapor Glove 2s. Now just waiting to wear them out after which I'll purchase a pair (or two) of the Vapor Glove 3 (or 4 by then) Very happy to see the extra reinforcement at the forefoot inside on the Vapor Glove 3 as this is where on the original & VG2s the fabric had a hard time resisting the width of my foot & thin out & break through. If you are still running in the VG2s, applying Shoe goo (inside and out as reinforcement) initially to the uppers at that area you'll effectively do what the VG3s have now. Great update to the Vapor Glove Merrell! Keep up the excellent work.

Sized as expected. These are perfect if you want the barefoot style shoe. Great for running or for weightlifting & the gym. Since there is no cushion, there is nothing to wear out, you can wear these shoes forever. I put over 500 miles on my last pair so it was finally time to upgrade.

I already owned the Vapor Glove 2 and like the color of the 3 even better. The elastic tongue and laces are an improvement. I walk to work daily, and these shoes help me focus on my posture. I chose Merrill because I have narrow feet (compared to the average), and have always been satisfied with the fit.

One of the only truly wide toe box minimalist shoes out there. I work in these all day on concrete/tile floors and run distance in them afterwards. I disagree with other posts, these hold up like steel! I wear a 10.5 other brands and a 43 Fivefingers and 11 vivobare foot. I am a true 10 in Vapor Glove. I purchased 4 pair as these are better than anything on the market. Have tried to talk shop with Merrell via phone and their sales reps knew nothing about their own product. Trust me, you will love these.

I have been running in Merrell Barefoot shoes for about 7 years. I've had almost every model of the Trail Glove and even the original "Road Glove" (now discontinued). I use these types of barefoot shoes for running exclusively. The Vapor Glove 3 is probably my favorite Merrell barefoot shoe I have ever had. It's extremely minimal- which is great for what it is intending. The shoe is very thin and extremely lightweight. My only word of caution to those considering buying the Vapor Glove 3 is that they do definitely run big. Plan on sizing 1/2 a size down or so. I wear men's size 11 across the board in other models of Merrells and with these I had to go down to 10.5. There is a trend in the "Barefoot" shoe category across manufacturers right now to add more padding/cushion to these minimal shoes and even moving away from true zero-drop in some instances. You have to understand there is a difference between "barefoot shoes" and "zero drop shoes". Barefoot shoes have no extra padding and cushioning. Just a thin rubber sole and the upper. That's it. Few manufactures anymore still offer true "barefoot shoes" like Merrell is doing here. I would be very disappointed if Merrell followed these trends. PLEASE KEEP MAKING BAREFOOT SHOES MERRELL! You guys are about the best out there for minimal and barefoot running footwear IMHO. Thanks.

The quality of the shoes are excellent. Very stylish shoes with a mid foot style walk. May take a bit to get use to if not use to walking with low arch support on shoes.

Entire shoe fit perfect except because of the square shape of these shoe tips, my middle toes hits the end. It’s a show stopper. ?? I tried a half size larger and the entire shoe was too big.

I got these because I was in need of a new minimal and light shoe. These shoes answered the call and went above my expectations. Great for anything on grass, turf, or indoors. I use these at the gym all the time and use them for recovery movement. I would not suggest running in these or moving with any weight on your back while wearing these tho.
