I love Sorel boots and sandals and wanted to love these boots but the fit is very odd. The lace in the back is open (so only waterproof to the open area) and below the lacing the suede pooches out in an unattractive slouchy way.

Haven't had a chance to wear them all day, but they feel super comfy so far. I'm 5 foot 5 and they come up to right around my lower knee cap, which is perfect. I really love the back, since it makes it easy for me to adjust so i get a reasonably sleek look (I tighten them all the way since i have narrow calves, but there's enough room that I think they could fit gals who may prefer wider boots too). The open back doesn't bother since I got the black, which will mostly be worn with black tights/dark skinny pants. I'm tempted to get the lighter color,which I'd wear with no tights and dresses when it's not too cold out.

These boots were a real splurge for me but so well worth it. If you’re on the fence.. don’t hesitate. There’s no breakin time on these, it’s as if they were made for me. Best boot purchase I’ve ever made. Period. ...and I’m just a little over 60!

These boots arrived yesterday and I cannot take them off! They are so incredibly comfortable. My foot measures between 7-7.5M. The 7.5 fits perfectly with room to wear with a bit thicker sock. I am 5'4" and the front boot comes up to the middle of my knee. I have no problem bending my leg. There is a removable cushion inside, which makes the boot extremely comfortable, along with the rubber bottom. Taking these on my ski trip and expect they will do very well on snow covered streets.

These boots are AWESOME!!! From the minute I tried them on to a full day of wearing - comfortable, sturdy, warm, waterproof and did I mention extremely stylish?!!! Love love love them! Ever-so slightly snug in the foot width (M) - but you could go with light socks because the boots themselves are very warm.Wish they had in dark brown . I'd buy in a nano secon.

I ordered up a whole size and wished I had only ordered up a half size. These are beautiful and stylish boots but I’m returning them because they’re just too big (even with thick socks they’re too big). I’m so sad to send them back!

Super cute and comfy!

I sized 1 size up so I can wear these with thick socks to keep warm. I was initially looking for waterproof boots for our Xmas Europe trip and wanted something stylish and lightweight that I can wear during the day for walking and for going out at night and these fit the bill!! Traveling for two weeks in the winter with one carry-on is a challenge, so having one pair of shoes that can be worn the entire trip is amazing. Since these boots are so stylish with a little heel, I can even wear them to work! I found these very comfortable for all day walking. Also, since they are lightweight, I can wear them in fall or not so cold weather and layer with thick socks and leg warmers for super cold days. A must have pair for everyone!

I have received these as a holiday gift so haven't worn them yet, but tried them on, and they are so comfortable and snazzy-looking. I'm 5'6" and they were a bit taller than I thought, up to my knee, but the suede is soft and looks like it will fall a bit as I wear them. I can't wait to do so and love all the Sorels I've tried recently!

I cannot believe these are waterproof! They are stylish and fun and I can't wait for a rainy day! I actually purchased these for a gift for my daughter - she loves them. She really likes the adjustable calf - she has a narrow leg, but the adjustability would work for smaller or larger calves, I think.

These Boots are Fabulous! Not only are they fashion forward, they are extremely comfortable and practical. I bought these boots to wear on my vacation to Maine. I have a problem with one of my feet spasming in some shoes and boots so, comfort is always a concern. I have high arches and need good support. The support in these boots is good but, I needed a little extra so I used Dr. Scholls arch support inserts in them, creating a perfect fit. I had happy feet the entire trip! I wore them everyday for a week. From early morning mountain hikes to the beach, to day long ferry boat excursions, to shopping and dinners in the evening. The best part was no foot spasms. I wear a size 81/2 shoe and 9 or 91/2 boots. I bought the 9 in these boots. I got the black ones and because they are so comfortable I'm going to order the gray ones too. Then there is Zappos amazing customer service. Love shopping with Zappos!!!

Absolutely stunning boots. They are a light gray waterproof suede. The back portion that laces up is NOT covered by any thing so your leggings or tights will show through the opening. They have good arch support and a soft footbed. The boot felt true to size and width. The only concern is that there was immediately a gray powdery substance that transferred to my black leggings as I was trying them on. I'm hoping this is a temporary situation that will resolve itself soon.

I love the look of this boot. The suede is thick, and the foot bed is comfortable. I found it to fit like the Sorel Torontos. I had to order an 8.5 because the 9 was out of stock. The 8.5 is slightly short on me, so I will have to send it back. As much as I like these, I am not sure if I would try a 9. I am 5'5.5" tall, and I have shorter legs. The front of the boot hits about 1/2" onto my knee, so while it looks okay, it feels a bit weird. I "super" love the way the back of the boot looks with the open laces, even without leggings.

I love these boots, usually I wear a six or six 1/2, I could wear the 6 1/2 but only with really thin socks. I exchanged them for a 7 which felt a little big but allowed an insert so I’m happy! The traction isn’t as good as I would have liked but I’m keeping them ??

These boots are comfortable, and unlike the Farah short boot, they run true to size. However, I find they are strangely bunchy in the leg. I bought them in black and in kettle. The black are bunchy and shlumpy, but the kettle weren't as bad. I will send back the black. Too bad bc I wanted to keep them both.

I love the style of these boots, but I found them hard to put on and take off without a full zipper. decided to return them solely based on this--I am lazy and need easy off and on!

I wanted to love these boots. I was very excited about getting them, but I had to send them back. The ankle part was way too loose for me. I could tighten the calves to fit nicely which made the ankels look even more pronounced. I should say however that I am very particular about my boot fitting my ankles and calf snugly. I only wore them for a short 15 min so I can't comment on the comfort level.

Not comfortable for all day wearing.
