I've been looking for a quality jacket with functionality and style. This jacket has everything. For reference I'm 5'3 , 110 lbs. and ordered size small. I have room to wear sweater without feeling too tight on the shoulder area.

I LOVE this jacket! It actually looks better than in the pictures. the versatility is outstanding. You can wear the inner shell (really warm with thumb-hole cuffs) - very flattering silhouette when worn alone! The shell can also be worn alone as a heavy waterproof windbreaker. The combo is really comfortable to move in and it zips from the bottom to sit easily. I love the length, too - covers the bum nicely. One secret is that the cinch for the drawstring at the waist in hidden inside the two zip pockets on the OUTSIDE of the jacket - just above the 2 patch pockets. Love the soft fleece inside the hood, and the removable faux fur on the hood - with it on it provides an extra width to keep stuff from dripping in your eyes, and without it, just a normal hood that can be cinched up. This coat meets all my winter needs! and probably fall and spring, too, without the liner.

Everything about this jacket is great so far fit wise but it's not a solid black. It's like a charcoal grey with a textured like print that looks blackish grey.

A large fits a 5' 8", 140 # with room for layering. I wore a light sweater and this coat in a spring snow/rain storm and I was warm and dry. I would want another layer if I was going to do light activity on a cold day. But if one is active, this coat is great.

The best part of this jacket, and the only reason I didn't return it, is the inner, removable jacket. It's super lightweight, yet very warm, and has an elegant, stylish line. I was concerned it would be too short, but on my 5'2" frame it hit at the perfect length about 4 inches above the top of the knee. The outer shell is a different story. I got a size small (I weigh 114 lbs) and while the inner jacket fits nice, the outer shell is way too big. The sleeves are ridiculously long and the torso is massive. It's not possible to synch it to fit correctly because doing so creates an ugly bulge at the waist that looks terrible both zipped up and unzipped. So you can only synch the waist a little bit before this happens. The outer shell is also very heavy. There is no way I would ever travel with this jacket. And lastly, the chalk color is much too yellow. Should be named yellow chalk. And, by the way, the sleeves of the inner jacket are also too long, but they can easily be folded under, but they cannot be folded on the outer jacket. If you are looking for a pale yellow jacket, you have long arms, and a large middle section, then this jacket would probably work for you.

Nice jacket - good quality. Runs very small and is not for the short-waisted. The waist of the jacket hits my hips and as the jacket runs small anyway (I ordered a size larger than the size chart), the fit was still too snug. If you're long-waisted, order a size up otherwise I would skip it.

This is for the Peyton Pass, not Carson- I am a Florida girl, not used to cold weather. My Peyton Pass 3 in 1 is keeping me comfortable and warm. Even in windy conditions, I'm able to participate in outdoor activities while staying warm and dry. I have long arms and broad shoulders. The fit is perfect.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
It feels very warm. but this is the wrong time of year to be testing that. The outer coat is perfect ,but the inner coat sleeves seem a bit tight.

I am am an elementary teacher in Wyoming. When I am out on recess duty this coat is the best! I stay warm even when the wind is blowing. Then as the weather starts to warm up, I can take the layers of the coat apart and wear the layer that will be the best for that day.

Versatile and comfortable coat. Hood faux fur detaches. Full frontal zipper is flanked by buttons. There are two zipper pockets and additional two pockets with flaps, all are on lower front of coat. I like walking and use my coat for outdoor activities.

I liked this coat so much I bought it twice! In 2020 I purchased a size XS but by 2023 I needed a larger size, so I replaced my old coat with a size M. For reference, I'm 5.3, 150lbs (DD cup) and I can wear my thickest sweater under both coat layers. I love that you can wear these coats as separates. The outer shell is my go to rain coat for fall/spring hikes.

Beautiful jacket, quality material and well made. Love the jacket in a jacket!! I'm a huge fan of the Omni Heat lining; it keeps me so warm on cold Maryland days (I have it on long underwear, jackets and vests!) only problem was I ordered too big and had to return! Will not hesitate to buy again!

Looked for a coat that would keep me warm and would look nice to go out in. This was the one. Very convenient to have a removable inner layer which I loaned to someone who forgot their coat. Kept my dry during the snow and rain. Only thing since I run wide at the hips, if the coat would be a little wider at the hips or would stretch a bit.

When I was looking for this jacket, I had trouble finding information on how warm it is. I have found it comfortable under the following conditions (all temperatures fahrenheit): high 30's to 40's: t-shirt underneath mid-20's to mid-30's: t-shirt and sweatshirt underneath mid-teens to mid-20's: base layer and sweatshirt underneath I have worn it with a hoodie, sweatshirt, and base layer on a 1.5 mile walk on a 9 degree night and been perfectly comfortable. It is a very warm jacket.

Love the color of this jacket. I'm 5 feet tall, size 4-6, and bought a size small. It has enough room for a heavy sweater underneath. Interior pockets would be nice, but there are several outer pockets that hold enough to not need to carry a purse. Warm enough for Portland, OR winters.

I've had this jacket for a few weeks, and I am enjoying it so far. It's very warn and completely waterproof. The pockets are deep and lined so they keep my hands warm. The second jacket is a nice addition and the colors are really complimenting.

Let me first say that I love the cold, barely do I get cold unless it’s down in the teens. So the warmth level of this coat may be influenced… But I can say I have worn this coat at 20 degrees in that super early morning type of cold and I was so hot. Yes, hot. I wish this coat had under arm pit zippers. The funny thing about this coat is the inside looks like aluminum foil, very reflective I suppose for your heat returning to your body. Fits well and I have body build for someone that works outside. I did size up to a large because I need to easily move my arms and shoulders.

Haven't used it (it is 90 out), but love the fit. The material seems like it will hold up. I like that the fur on the hood can be removed if I want. The small fits me perfectI'm 5'4 125lbs.
