I'm a size 16 and ordered the 1X. It fits really well in the arms, shoulders and waist but the hip area is too tight. I can zip the coat but it's snug across my stomach and hips. The cut of this coat seems to be very straight and not at all made for a curvy, plus size figure. Also the coat is super light weight and doesn't seem to be insulated like the description states. I have a shorter Columbia jacket that has the Omni-heat lining and it's much warmer/thicker than this. I also cross-checked the description on the Columbia website and this coat is not even considered to be a cold weather jacket; they say it's for "trail use". I tried to exchange this for the new longer down Columbia jacket but with Zappos new policy I wasn't allowed and will have to just return. Seriously. I've been a VIP for about 10 years, but now the Zappos is owned by Amazon/Jeff Bezos, "awesome" customer service is less of a priority.

This was not true to size. I can usually wear either a 1X or 2X interchangeably. The 1X was to tight through the mid section but good everywhere else. I then ordered the 2X and it was way to big In the arms and the sleeves were too long. Some brands just don’t get plus sizing!

This is my 3rd coat. My dog ruined my first I hunted 2 years to find the perfect replacement & finally found it. Then lost it . So I hunted for another just like the first 2 & this one is almost like them. It's shorter but still warm for Rocky Mountain winters & best of all light weight and

I love how thin and yet warm due to the lining. I may buy in another color. I'm 5'7", 175 lbs, about XL due to 38DD. I ordered the 1X so that I'd be comfortable with a sweater and another layer on. This coat fits the bill.

This coat is terrific. Lightweight, warm, soft and the hood is the proper size and fits well, instead of 3 sizes too big, like most women's coats these days. The only criticism is the weird thumb-through cuffs, which I think are ridiculous. Regular cuffs that can be pulled down over gloves would be much better. I've just been pushing them up and dealing with them, luckily they are thin enough that they don't create an issue. I'd have given 5 stars if not for these dopey cuffs.

I purchased my coat in Spring when it was on sale. I've been wanting an Omni-heat coat for a couple of years now. My daughter loves hers because it isn't bulky and keeps her warm in our Northwestern PA winters! I can wait for winter to get here but I can't wait to wear my new coat and see how great it is!!

Received this jacket in just a few days. Size is just right. I wore it for the first time at a soccer game. Parents were wrapped in blankets. I was just fine. Will be just what I need for our trip to Iceland.

Love the color and fits perfect. Keeps me warm. Once zipped up the hood stays up and blocks the rain and wind. The lengthen is perfect and with the double zipper easy to seat with coat on.

Lovely coat, light weight, pockets lined with soft fabric and hood has fleece lining . Love the cuffs in the sleeves with thumb holes to keep the air from coming up your arms.

I purchased this jacket in gray last year after suffering through freezing early baseball games. When I saw it on sale this year I snapped one up in Faded Peach (team colors are orange and black and this color is close enough). I did size up this time so I can put an extra layer or two under and also for some additional comfort when sitting for hours at a time. It's pretty loose, but I think it will come in handy as a change out from my heavy waterproof down jacket. I love the pretty colors that you have and the way your plus size garments fit.

I love my new coat! I have several Columbia Coats/Jacket. The color is gorgeous and very complementary with my skin tone. Most of all that Omni Heat is awesome! I was at work and it was cold inside the facility so I threw my coat across the front of my body not fully wearing it and I was completely warm the entire time! Thanks Columbia this is a winner!

I wear a xl or 1x usually, but I read someone else's review., and they said it runs small, so I ordered a 2x and it was too big. So, I reordered and got a 1x and it fits good. I really like the coat nice and lite. l
