A few months ago, I walked around the mall all day in my black boots. They were so comfy, I ordered them in brown, too. If your feet are slightly different sizes, the laces help to ensure fit. The sole and arch are great for flat feet and plantar fasciitis. My back didn't hurt after standing on hard surfaces. Lately, even the top of my feet hurt where shoes lace up, These boots don't hurt the top of my feet and the tongue is padded. They even performed well in torrential rain and mud.

I love these. They are adorable. I intended to spray them with water-proofing spray. The zipper makes them easy to get on and off. Alas, they were too narrow for my wide foot. I had to keep the other pair I ordered. They are nice, but nearly as cute.

I suffer from Morton's neuroma, and I'm also healing from a surgical procedure to relieve the symptoms, so I needed a shoe that was wide enough for my D width foot, but not too wide for the other foot, which is only a B width, and warm and waterproof for a Chicago winter. That is a tall order for a shot/boot, but Propet's Delaney honestly delivered. We've already had sub-freezing temperatures, snow, and ice in Chicago this fall, and these boots helped me survive them without any water leaking into the boot. This is the widest shoe or boot I've tried in the last several months, and the only one I didn't return. I've ordered one in suede, and one in leather, and I found the suede more flexible, so I'm returning the leather (it was also very squeaky) and ordering that color in suede. They're almost too wide, which is kind of a refreshing problem to have, and I can actually wear a normal or even slightly thick sock, as all other D width shoes I've tried since receiving the Morton's neuroma diagnosis have pinched my feet or requore me to wear very thin, worn socks (I've tried Columbia sportswear boots, Orthofeet boots, and Clarks booties). The arch support isn't amazing, but the insole is padded and comfortable. I will be ordering more of this brand in the future; I've received compliments on the brown suede Delaney.

I have wide feet with a tall bridge, and have plantar fasciitis. Add in the fact that my feet and ankles swell quite a bit, and you have a woman who has a hard time finding shoes that fit. Due to all that, I've been wearing sandals and mules for years. It hasn't been too bad, but I've recently come to need shoes to allow me to walk in areas that are a bit more challenging. (In other words, I need shoes that will stay on my feet if I'm walking up a hill!) I've been searching (fruitlessly, up to this point) for shoes that will fit my feet/ankles, and offer arch support. These boots are a very good fit for me. The shoe part of the boot fits perfectly - the vamp is high enough to accommodate my high bridge, the toe box is roomy without being too big, the heel fits great with no rubbing or slipping, and the arch support is very good (I could use a bit more, but I still have no complaints). The ankle part of the boot is a bit stiff, but not so bad that I can't stand to wear them. In fact, I wore them for a few hours last night with a pair of fleece-lined trouser socks, and it wasn't too bad at all. I expect the more I wear them, the softer they will become. The best part about the boots is that they both lace up AND zip. Talk about a perfect combo - I can lace the boots up to the proper tightness (while zipped), then use the zipper to put on/take off the boots. No need to keep tying/untying the shoes!

I ordered the Propet Delaney after reading multiple reviews. I have a hard foot to fit. Many size 11's are too short, and 12's are simply too big. Reviews indicated this ran a bit big and had a decent amount of room in the toe box, both width wise and depth wise. Although I don't have a wide foot, I ordered a wide to accommodate a pair of wool socks and a Lynco/Aetrex Compete orthotic which gives me more arch support. They fit perfect with my accommodations. Although the original footbed seemed soft and fairly thick, it did not offer much arch support. I removed that to insert my orthotic. I have a long blacktop driveway and we've had a lot of snow this winter. The bottoms seem to give me a decent amount of traction. I had non of the 'strong chemical odors' some reviewers mentioned. To my eyes, no shoe/boot is 'cute' in size 11W, but these are more attractive than most.

I have these boots in black leather and adore them. I wish these would have fit the same, they felt narrower in the toes and too big around the ankle. Bummer.

This is an excellent short boot which I initially reviewed when I got my first pair in January, 2018. Now I just bought pair Number Four in gray suede, making two black leather pairs and one in blue suede. The black work very well as office shoes; they just look like black oxfords, even with dress pants, while the blue are perfect with jeans. (Contrast stitching on the blue version mimics jean stitching, adding a nice touch.) The suede versions are more flexible than the leather, and thus a little more stretchy over time, though they do not expand more than an acceptably small amount, which just increases comfort, especially in the toe box. Though I live in Southern California, not noted for chilly weather, the slight insulation in these boots is just fine because my feet are always cold. I've worn these booties up north too, even in British Columbia's snow, and find they work very well there with heavy socks (though admittedly, I don't go hiking about in forests, sticking pretty much to sidewalks). I also wear braces, which the lace-and-zipper combination accommodates. So, for my high-instep, short, wide problem feet (polio deformity on one foot and a broken toe on the other) plus needing ankle support, these deliver. And because Zappos does too, I'll be buying more.

Just got back from two weeks in China where these were my only shoes. Climbed the Great Wall, went to Beijing Opera and walked the Bund in them. They were very comfortable and needed little breaking in. However, I have to admit that they were just a shade less comfortable and study feeling than my last pair of Propet boots, which I had for five years. They are a bit dressier looking than most boots so I wear them at the office all the time. I also like how they are on the narrow side for a "medium" width--so surprised to read the other reviews about how great this boot is for wide widths. My main beef with the Delaney is that finish wore off the toe very quickly. Like within the first week of wearing it, and I wasn't even that tough on the boot back then. Now I have to polish the shoe about every five days. Even with that, I love these boots and would buy them again.

I keep trying the Propet brand because their shoes and boots are usually so well reviewed (and quality shoes in wide widths are hard to come by), but in my last Zappos order, I ordered 3 different pairs of winter/weather boots and was disappointed in all 3. They look nice, are lightweight, appear to be well made and have a roomy toe box in both width and height, but the feel on my foot is flimsy and inexpensive. There is little cushioning in the sole, absolutely no arch support and the walls of the shoe feel thin and unsubstantial. Overall, my foot feels entirely unsupported - as though I'm wearing slippers. Very strange. This was my experience for all 3 of the boots I ordered. I will say that the sizing is wonderfully consistent between styles and that they seem to be true to size. I ordered an 8.5 as I always do in an attempt to get a little extra width (I actually need an 8 or slightly less for length) and that was unnecessary for this brand which is (blissfully) true to width. Shoes are so subjective, we all have our issues, but this brand is not for me.

This shoe looks like a winter boot but I discovered it's slippery on certain tile that's damp. I also went sliding on snow and ice so it's definitely not an all weather shoe.

Bought this in black suede and wear them with Superfeet orthodics and LOVE the comfort. So much so that I bought a second pair in brown suede. I'm wearing the same orthodics right now (that I wore yesterday in the black ones) and I"m limping across my classroom. I can barely walk. Black... just went to Paris with me - 10+ miles a day of walking and yes... I finally felt some pain by day 3 Brown... can't make it through a day of teaching without wanting to cry. same shoe? different color? I don't know what's up. I got the brown ones at the end of last winter... thought the pain was my imagination. Put them away for the summer... just pulled them out today... they're awful. The rating is an average between the black and brown... A friend of mine told me that Propet changed something about HIS shoe that he always used to buy ... but not any more... I wonder if the time between my black/brown purchase is the time that Propet started something new??? anyone else have this issue. These were bought in March 2018.

I've had these boots a couple of years now, and I wear them all the time. They dress up or down, and they are so comfortable. At first I was concerned about the suede looking good over regular wear and tear. I have taken good care of them, but not babied them, and they still look so great. Highly recommended!

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis in both my ankles and toes. So, finding shoes that are comfortable, supportive, and can fit my braces has always been a challenge for me. However, these boots have been a great discovery for me. They are wide enough to fit my braces perfectly and have great arch support. Not only are they comfortable, but they also look cute. I'm extremely satisfied with Propet shoes, as they seem to be the only shoes that work for my condition.

I have rheumatoid arthritis in my ankles and feet, so finding comfortable, supportive shoes that can accommodate my ankle braces is a challenge. Bless Zappos for their quick shipping and excellent return policy. The Delaney by Propet has been a great winter boot for me. They are true to size, comfortable, and supportive with excellent arch support, and the wide width accommodates my braces. They are also adorable.

These boots are the answer to a prayer. I have been looking for a comfortable everyday boot - something between a dressy short boot and a rugged outdoor boot. I have a difficult foot size, with a narrow heel but horrible bunions that push me into wide width shoes and boots. My regular size is 7.5W. I tried this boot in a multitude of sizes, including 7.5WW, 8W, and 7.5W. The winner was, surprisingly, the 7.5W. I wore them around the house for about a month before finally deciding they were keepers. Today was the first time I wore them outside, and they were great. Very comfortable footbed, nice ankle support, and infinitely adjustable with the side zip and laces. Easy on and off, good-looking and comfortable. Thanks to Zappos generous return policy and free shipping both ways, I was able to try on all the sizes at the same time and then send back the boots that didn't fit well.

The fit and size was great! I was so thrilled that it came in 4E wide. I have a wide foot and wide boots like these are hard to find. They are incredibly and super comfortable

I ordered the same size as my New Balance walking shoes and these boots fit perfect. I ordered the wide width and they are roomy enough that my orthotics will fit inside and the insoles that came with the boots are removable. I love the fact there is no fuzzy liner inside to made me hot, perfect for a non snow area for chilly days.
