I have bad feet, including a wide foot, arthritis and pronated toe. Several reviews led me to this brand as a good walking shoe. The price was right, it was leather... so I decided to try Propet. The shoes are very cute imo, and I liked dealing with a zipper instead of laces. It felt comfortable out of the box. Unfortunately by the end of the day, my feet hurt. This is not an all day walking shoe, even with my customer inserts. They do not offer enough support for my feet. Also, after several wears I already have some worn spots at the toes. The foot bed liner is also peeling, but that may be due to my professional inserts. I am not sure how well made they are, but hopefully they last for light walking days. I was hoping for a great walking shoe for some upcoming vacations where I can only take one or maybe two shoes. This is not a pair that will go with me for traveling. I will continue searching for a good travel shoe.

Purchased the black suede in a 2E for my teen daughter who is hard to fit (needs high stability shoes that can accommodate her orthotic inserts) and they are perfect! Super cute look, flexible sole, and she can zip in and out of them easily. They come protected with Scotchguard (bonus for suede leather) and says they feel like they give her ankle more support. Because of the added height from the orthotic insert there was a little concern for fit, but this shoe has plenty of room for her foot and she doesn't have to worry about her heel sliding up and down. Lacings help to snug the fit so there is an opportunity to adjust the fit to accommodate sock thickness and a wide foot. They are true to size in the length, size 9 is a size 9, however, no arch support. For us the arch support didn't matter since we had to put in her inserts. But, so happy to finally find a cute women's shoe that can fit a wide foot with orthotics and doesn't look like a men's cross-training shoe, a nurse shoe (no offense) or a geriatric shoe. I ordered her another pair as a back-up! She has fallen arches, a wide foot and has sprained her ankles numerous times, so has resigned herself to think she will wear ugly, high-stability shoes her whole life, but these boots have made her so happy. Hoping you have as good of luck as we have with these boots.

These are amazing! I think I squealed when I opened the box. They are beautiful. I know I sighed when I put them on. Propet understands what VERY wide feet are like. They also understand that even women with Flinstone Feet want stylish, comfortable footwear. And they deliver. I plan to buy more of these. And speaking of deliver(y)... I received these shoes 30 minutes before I got a shipping notification. They got here FAST. This is my first Zappos order (though not my first Propet purchase) and I couldn't be happier. Great prices, great brands, great styles, and, at least for this order free shipping that was faster than a timely email! Any company offering such great products and service has a customer for life in me.

This is the first pair of shoes I've ever bought that felt as comfortable as a sock the second I put them on. I have *very* wide feet just before the toe area, and most shoes will either pinch there or on the bridge of the foot (which on me is high, and high + wide is a shoe nightmare). All shoes are either too large, feel like boats, or need to be worn in before I can feel 'at home' in them. Not these! I usually kick shoes off the second I get home, but I can see myself wearing these all the time, at least until it gets too warm. Off to order a second pair right now!

WOW! Finally an extra wide shoe that fits my foot! Very comfortable. I've had to wear and order size 71/2 EE in all shoes lately whereas I really wear 7EE. These were too long, so I will exchange them for the 7EE. Lots of room in the toebox height, and the width. I have bunions, hammertoes, claw toes, multiple past surgeries, so these shoes are a dream. ONE thing Zappos: these shoes come in a lovely shade of Red and Sand, which are available on other websites. I wish you would carry ALL available colors!

I bought the dark brown suede, and they are soft and silky and amazingly comfy! I saw a lot of positive reviews from people with wide or problematic feet, so I wanted to share that my very average 7B feet are incredibly happy too!

I got a size 9.5 X(2E) in the Prophet Delany. I usually wear a 9.5 or 41-42 depending upon fit. I have "duck feet" my heel is narrow and my toe box is wide. Because it's rare for me to find shoes that fit, I have developed bunions, which makes it worse. I was excited to find cute wide shoes, but when I actually got them, the fit was strange? They are not really wide, side to side, but I can't lace them up tight enough because there is a weird extra height to them, especially over the arch area; it feels like the top of the shoe is floating off the top of my foot a half an inch to an inch. The point of the toe is rigid (which is nice to protect your toes) but they felt too long also, but I could not feel where my toe landed. I took my foot out and put it by the side of the shoe and the shoe is an inch and a half longer! Returning these to get a size down in length but fear that they won't be wide enough. This company obviously doesn't understand wide feet.

I couldn't be happier with these boots. I bought them for an upcoming trip and wanted to have them worn in well in time. That won't be a problem as they were comfortable straight out of the box. I wore them on a 4 mile hike and then a 2 mile hike the following weekend (right after a heavy rain). No rubbing, no hot spots, not even damp socks. I love the way they look too. Most of the wide width hiking shoes I found were not so pretty. I think these are really flattering and can be worn with most of my outfits.

Love them! The zipper is incredibly practical, a great boot for someone who hates to tie their shoes or is always in a rush like me. They are very comfortable, the bottoms aren't terribly thick, but they feel comfy and light, like I can wear them all day. They run a hare big, but that's intended I think so you can wear socks with them easily. As Clarks tend in general to run a hare narrow, I'm glad I bought the wide, it made sure I had plenty of room for thick socks.

I am a 76 yr old woman with mild foot neuropathy. This boot has lots of toe room. It is surprisingly comfortable. One thing I notice that the boot itself is so sturdy, that the foundation helps with balance problems that I have sometimes. I feel very secure and stylish wearing these.

Nice shoes, however, I ordered an olive pair and box says so, but I believe it is the dusty sage.

The fit for the size is as close to perfect for me as I have found in a short boot!!!I love these and wear them almost every day in the cold weather now. They've got room for cozy socks too!!

These are really nice boots for a wide width— actually stylish and attractive. However, I did not find that they ran large as other reviewers stated. I’m sending back for a larger size. I do agree that the Brown Suede is more like a Mulberry. It’s a really nice neutral that would go with just about anything.

They fit perfectly, but I have high arches and there is ZERO support. Nothing a pair of insoles can't fix though, so I'll be keeping them.

I have problem feet, with a right foot that has a pronated large toe and arthritis. It is very difficult to find comfortable walking shoes. Propet was recommended by a few sources, so I decided to try it since I need a new walking booties. I love the look of the shoe, the wide size seemed very comfortable and soft out of the box. I finally took the bite, added my inserts and walked all day in them. They were ok - not as much support as I probably need and my right toes hurt a little by the end of the day. I had a few rub marks on the suede after one day of wear, so I am a little worried how long they will last. I am obviously keeping them, and hopefully they will work out for me. They are cute, I love zipping them instead of lacing, but I wish they had more support. I am not sure if this is a shoe I can take traveling, they may not give me enough support for lots of walking.

Love the fit of these shoes for my narrow foot. Perfect for fall fashion.

We have several upcoming trips planned to cold and wet climates and I needed some sturdy walking booties for casual wear. These fit the bill, both price-wise and style. There is plenty of room in the toe box for my wide foot (I bought the "W" width) and the cushioned sole feels like walking on air. I chose the "brown suede" which looks like a delicious mulberry-aged suede to me, perfect for my autumn and winter clothes. I just get tired of always buying "black" shoes! I can't wait to try them out next month on our trip to Canada. I think we have a winner here, folks!

This boot runs very small through the ankle. It laces and zips and I had to keep the laces pretty slack to keep them from pinching at the top of my foot. I have worn them so they are mine but not sure they are the best fit. They are very generous in the toe box which I needed and the padding in footbed is good. I still had to augment the heel as I have planter fasciitis. I think with some time the leather will loosen and they will be better fit. The leather is thick and very top quality.

I’m a plus size gal with 11w feet. I ordered ww because I had inserts and it still was a little long. Super cute. My teen wished she had them. Super cute. One thing I had not paid attention to is they came scotch guarded was a nice surprise. Speedy excellent service.

I love the style, the way you can zip and un tie to get them on As I have CRPS , which makes my feet swell differently every day So these are excellent for that I haven’t worn them but in the house a little here and there to get use to wearing them I haven’t owned a pair of boots in 4 years due to this disease I really hoping they work out, as I just ordered a brown pair. Propet did it again! Actually found a boot/shoe that fit. I have bunions and hammer toes and find it almost impossible to find footwear that I can actually wear. I like the lace feature as it allows me to snug up as much as I like and with the zipper side feature I can leave the laces the way I've snugged them and still slip the boots on and off with ease. Great feature!

I was pleasantly surprised by these beautiful boots/shoes . I originally wanted the black but they were sold out and I need boots now living in New England We normally have snow on the ground by now ( it’s snowing now expecting 12 inches over weekend) anyway the boots fit me ! I had to order the widest one as I cannot find that width in regular stores I’m kinda limited with mobility So shopping online is quick and easy for me especially with Zappos they have the best return policy too . I ended up getting the gray suede ( it’s available and it was on sale ) the quality of the shoe is amazing too its very sharp looking boots . I have wear flats and these are flat no heels . Perfect! Zappos Customer Service has been excellent too . I haven’t worn the boots outside yet as I just received the couple days ago . Terrific sale price love it! with the price match And a VIP coupon ! Omgosh this boot has everything. Style is right on very cute. I’ll wear this boot with anything except of coarse fancy outings. No black tie dinners in these boots....Very comfy. I got the color Bordo, very classy expensive look. Love the color. I’d say it’s a maroon with dark brown in it. The color is exactly what I expected it’s very pretty. I get so tired of the same basic colors all the time so I took a chance on the color and glad I did. But I love the boot so much I’m thinking of getting another color. Thank you

I love these boots. I have wide feet, so being able to find a stylish boot or shoe is a huge plus. These are very comfortable and they did not cause me any discomfort or blisters after wearing them all day. I usually end up with blisters and have to spend months breaking in my footwear. Not so with these. I ordered a size 7 which is my normal size and they fit perfectly. A lot of times, I have to order a size up to be able to wear a shoe at all. I also like that they tie and zip. the zipper makes them easy to put on or take off and the laces allow me to tighten the boot around my ankle. This is important to me because even though my feet are wide at the toe, they get narrow at the heel so without a shoe that can be tightened with laces, the shoe tends to slide up and down on my heel. This boot addressed all my foot problems! I highly recommend them to anyone with a wide foot.

I have feet that are difficult to find the right fit for. Wide feet, high arches, and developed plantar fasciitis a while ago. I purchased this style about two years ago and was happy with the comfort and fit then. I like a little more arch support and hope to fix that by adding an orthotic. The first pair is the navy blue however they are more a dark teal suede instead of a navy. I am glad to find Propet still makes this style in a variety of color and leather finishes. I am disabled, require a full hip replacement, the zippers is one of the best features. I had to wait for a sock assist tool in order to finally try these on. The smooth black leather is a little stiff however they are new and most likely after being worn and broken in a little will be a bit more flexible. They should look great with jeans. And with cooler weather not far behind will keep my feet toasty with the right pair of socks. They arrived as promised and in new condition. Thank you Zappos!
