They are well made and will definitely keep my boys' feet dry and warm but they are way too heavy for my kids especially my almost 2 year old and 3 year old. My 6 year old says they are heavy for him but he is still wearing them but has to take huge steps. I bought some bog boots last year that were perfect and weren't heavy at all. I thought I was buying the same ones. So beware- these are heavy! Bogs have other great boots that keep kids feet dry and warm that are lightweight.

We purchased the size 12 boots a couple of months ago. Within a month, the bottom sole was showing wear more than just the flocking rubbing off. The interior silk like lining on the bottom heal was also peeling off. This seems to be a change in manufacturing in this style as we have a size 11 boot in this style purchased from a local shoe store and the foam liner goes all the way to the bottom. We really like this style for my son with flat feet as the bottom is sturdy but are disappointed with the change in manufacturing with the liner as it seems less well made and the liner was peeling off within a month of purchase and wear. Customer service representatives were good to work with resolving the issues with exchanges and refunds

Beautiful and waterproof. The issue is the holes are located such that snow gets in them. Don't know why. Easy to put on. We're going to use them as rainboots.

Since I had never bought a pair of Bogs for myself or my children I went off of the sizing chart for my daughters boots.. well they are too small. Since I purchased with a code for 25% off it was too late to even purchase another pair for the same price. I then was expected to pay full price. Although they are very cute and seem like they would work great for my daughter, we can't use them for her. They will sit in a closet for another 2 years before my youngest can use them. Can't go wrong with getting 25% off yet wish my other daughter was able to use them.

Very heavy, child has worn few times, and the bottom has already started to look like its falling apart, looks very worn out after a few walks . I do not know why this pair of boots are like this, previous boots bought in the past have been great but not these boots and they are expensive.

My son has used these boots for school since September (3 months use now) everyday his feet are wet, these are going in the trash. The Forbes inside also traps tons of pea gravel underneath and is hard for my son to remove, empty the rocks and get the foot beds back in properly.

We live in northern VT and were recommended these boots for our young children. Both of my boys received new winter boots (but different brands) at the same time last year - unfortunately, these ones are completely falling apart where the tough plastic material meets the soft flexible material (and not occurring on the other brand). This renders them useless as my child instantly has soaking wet socks when going outside in our snow. We have the adult versions and had never had this issue.

Not even two weeks old and they look like they've been worn for two years. The bottoms are peeling and look burned. It also looks like they were "patched" together. I'm not happy in the quality this time around.

Bought these for my 9 year old boys and having the neoprene on the outside of the top is not ideal as they truly wear these to romp in the woods, mud, slush and snow and this makes them harder to clean off. They have also made these boots shorter than in years past and the handles being on a diagonal instead of straight across makes them even lower. I am dissappointed

The boots are awesome, unfortunately they don't fitness and Bogs customer service won't respond to me to send them back. I'm not impressed.

For some reason, the Bogs kids winter boots seem to get about an inch taller for each shoe size. My daughter wore bogs boots last winter and they fit fine with the boot only coming up to about her mid-calf. When I ordered her the next size up, the top of the boot is almost up to her knee and makes it difficult for her to even walk around.
Additionally, my son had a size 2 boot last year, it felt to small, we got him a size 3 and it doesn't seem to be any larger. He said it feels the same.
We sent them both back.
Bogs service has been great, however the products just don't seem to work for my kids anymore. We are going to try switching to Muck brand for the kids.

I bought these for my daughter to keep her feet warm while she is out selling Girl Scout Cookies. It has been about 15-20 degrees outside and her feet are not warm! So disappointed. I can not trust that these boot will keep her feet warm for the conditions.

We purchased 4 pairs of these boots for our 4 children ages 3-11 to wear for farm chores and a family ice fishing trip. During our trip, the children wore a pair of cotton socks and a pair of heavy wool socks under their Bog boots. While their feet did stay dry, their toes were freezing within an hour and we had crying kids. The air temperature was about 10 degrees above 0 and the wind was pretty calm. I am disappointed that the Bog boots did not hold up to their claim of a -30 temperature rating, especially at the price point they are sold at.

very comfortable, BUT after only wearing them for 2 hours, i noticed that the wavy tread on the heels was already worn down flat! this is disappointing. i thought the bogs would be a good long lasting boot.

Been buying bogs for years, seems like they are made poorly now- after wearing once outside bottom rubber started fraying and peeling- i wish they would make better bottoms for kids boots.

The boots said size 4 but one of them was much larger than the other. I wish exchanging was easier. I had to send them back with an exchange form and not much help from customer service. I'm not impressed.
