Its a nice jacket but not for Illinois weather. We have no autumn and it is a fall jacket, not a winter one. I was looking for something casual with a hood just to run errands and it seems very thin. I had to retutn it. Style very nice and good for perhaps outdoor exercise but too thin for me. Great quality, amazing color and gives great shape. I usually wear S and S did not leave up any room to layer up if needed so if I kept it I would have gone with M.

Extremely comfortable to wear on its own or under a thinner coat

Ideal for days out as it packs really small if you don't need a jacket
