This is my favourite year round go to jacket. Living on the north end of Vancouver Island where our weather is heavily influenced by the cool ocean air we can have cool temperatures even during the summer. My Cerium LT Hoody never gets put away. It keeps me warm all winter and on cool, foggy summer mornings while sitting outside with coffee watching the day start. I really appreciate all the warmth it packs into such a light weight, packable jacket. Its so versatile and easy to slide on under a hard shell or stuff into its tiny stuff sack to be tucked into a pack or bag when not worn. I really appreciated having such great colour choice. Unfortunately, I find the fit a bit small and fall right between sizes, but have sized up to allow for layering underneath. I am 5'4", 130 lbs and have broad shoulders/back and find the medium too snug for more than one layer.

I am a film technician in the Pacific Northwet of Vancouver... and it's the Northwet for a reason, being surround by an finite rain forest of endless possibilities to explore in a life time, this jacket is the perfect one to always have to keep you feeling safe and warm in all Adventures. I work gruesome hours through out many night shifts in blistering cold and rain all nights a lot, and with a pairing arc'teryx shell over this jacket, I am always comfortable and prepared to stand by and wait and take on any task that gets thrown at us. I've had 5 different style jackets from arc'teryx in my lifetime, and each one has its best characteristic. It wasn't until I found this jacket that I finely found the jacket that will always keep me ready for a 12 + hour shift in the outdoors in a winter Vancouver night shift on any film set.

I tend to choose Arc'teryx gear for quality, fit, and durability. I own the Kappa Hoody, the Atom LT Hoody, the Alpha FL, and the Cerium LT which rounds out my needs for various outdoor passions including hiking, ice climbing, skiing, and camping. The Cerium LT is warm, versatile, and fits great (I'm 6' and 185lb. Can be used as a layer or standalone hoody. Standalone I'm comfortable down to -5 Celsius. I generally transfer from my Atom LT at about 5 Celsius. The Cerium LT layers great under the Kappa Hoody (or a shell) for colder conditions including sleeping on a mountain in Bolivia at -30 Celsius! Also good for city use (fitted style looks really good) and shoveling snow from the drive way. Overall extremely happy and strongly recommend. High quality, warm, durable and versatile.

I finally see what all the fuss is about. This jacket is so warm yet so light, it feels weightless on! I have had no problems with the down coming out and has held up great over almost daily wear. It's worth every penny!

Purchased this jacket as a replacement for a very old and battered Cerium LT hoodie. Quality of the last jacket (over 10 years old) and this one are first class. If your looking for a light, warm jacket I couldn't recommend this highly enough. I know it is an expensive jacket but you get what you pay for and you won't be disappointed.

The first thing I immediately felt when I first put on the Cerium LT is how warm it felt. It was instant. The Cerium Lt is made with 850 fill white goose insulation. This type of insulation is amongst the highest weight-to-warmth ratio you can find on the market and perform extremely well especially in cold and dry weather (Perfect for all of you east coasters !). I' I've been using this jacket mainly for resort and backcountry skiing. It is extremely lightweight (LT) and offers great handy features. When you blend high quality nylon and down insulation, you get amazing benefits from it. I really enjoyed that I could pack the jacket in a built in pouch and when folded, the jacket was almost as big as my hand. That kind of feature is really useful when space is limited in your daypack. From one of my previous Skiing jacket, the Theta AR, I was already familiar with the Stormhood which is, from my point of view, one of the nicest feature of this jacket. The hood naturally snuggles nicely around your head when you put it on which helps retain warmth. You can also use the drawstring and depending on how tight you crank it down, the hood either grips the top of your head, or let it move freely without impairing your visibility. So far, this jacket has mainly been used for backcountry and resort skiing on the East coast which is just about perfect for what I do. It's extremely warm, lightweight and has all the features you'd want for a down jacket. I would highly recommend it for anybody looking to upgrade their insulation layer or simply buy their first one for their outdoor adventures.

For my use this has been a great jacket. It fits me very well with a light to medium layer underneath. Because it is light and packs small I have taken it on every hike and cross country ski trip. I took it on treks in Mongolia and Patagonia and it was my daily wear jacket. Warm enough with a layer down to teens. It seems to be more water resistant than I expected which has been a nice surprise. Very pleased with jacket. Loses a few feathers but not enough to be a problem.

I'm relatively new to Arc'Teryx. I decided to purchase this jacket based on seeing it at REI and reading some of the reviews. It's super light weight and unbelievably warm. I love the look of the jacket and it's comfortable as well. My wife has picked this jacket up a number of times (super light) and couldn't believe I was wearing it in subzero temps. Fabric is high quality with soft feel. Zipper pulls are high quality with no issues to date. Highly recommend!

Just finished a two week trek in the Everest region of Nepal. This was my first outing with this jacket and it performed perfectly. I wore this and a base layer in -20 C and was perfectly warm. Next day was -10 C with heavy snowfall. I added my Alpha SV shell over the top and again I was warm and dry. I would highly recommend this jacket as a great all rounder.

Crium hoody was just added to my husband's already solid collection of Arcteryx clothing. The Caribou color is sublime. We love your products and our whole family is outfitted in your clothing for our ski adventures. As Canadians living in France, we are thrilled to support such an amazing company.

I purchased this jacket as a mid layer and stand alone jacket. The jacket has worked really well for both purposes. I am 6" and 190 pounds and purchased an XL. I am a 16 in the neck and 35 in the arm. The XL fit perfectly. My expectations are high given the price. So far so good.

This is a spectacularly warm jacket and so comfy cozy. It's like wearing a down sleeping bag. Great as an outer layer in cool temperatures and layered under a shell in super cold. The cut is perfect for an athletic, well-proportioned individual. I have a friend with very long arms who had to size up and another who is a little chubby who did the same, but the Cerium fits me like it was custom tailored. I am 5'10" 160 and wear the medium. I just read a review of down jackets that had the Patagonia Down Sweater rated above this and I just had to laugh. This jacket is superior in every way to the Patagonia. Keep it up, Arcteryx. You are killing the competition.

I love this incredibly lightweight but incredibly warm jacket. I enjoyed using it as a top layer in temps down to 28 on the Appalachian Trail recently. The fit is perfect and not too baggy (the XL worked for me at 6' 4", 189). My only minor complaint is that the stuffing inside does tend to have tiny spots that leak out. I can't yet say if that's a long-term issue or just a minor quibble. But, in any event, I love it.

This was the perfect hoody for summiting Mt Rainier this last summer. It was a warm climb, but this was perfect for rest breaks and our time at the summit. I stuffed the pockets with snacks and my water bottle so it was all handy whenever I threw it on during breaks. The fit, materials, and warmth-to-weight ratio are fantastic. I use it now for cold nights at work that can involve either high output activities or sitting motionless for long periods of time. This came in handy last week during such an event and helped make a miserable night less miserable. Would absolutely recommend!

I got this jacket a couple months ago. I tried this morning under -10 C only wearing a cotton base layer. I did not have any problem. I am 5.2 use medium size. The jacket fits perfect. Please read the article from outdoorgearlab.com If you want to find more technical details. Outstanding a classic jacket from Arcteryx.

Layers perfectly over a base, thin fleece like the konseal, and under a gore-tex hardshell. Best cold and dry weather mid layer out there.

super produit de ligne Arc'teryx, je l'apporte tout les jours. Cette doudoune peut facilement se porter comme couche intermdiaire chaude sous une veste Gore-Tex ou se porter seule comme blouson la mi-saison.
