I absolutely love the ASR shoe. It is just the right amount of stiffness/support that I need. I have worn Ghost and Glycerine too but the newer versions of those are super flexible which causes my forefoot to get fatigued too fast. You get some help with push off with this ASR model. The Adrenaline model has too much correction for overpronation which makes it hard to wear an orthotic with that correction as well. The ASR accommodates my orthotics and is a more neutral plant. I did not like the color at first but I really like it now. It kind of grows on you and it doesn’t show dirt. I do wish they made more color options like in the other models of Brooks.

I recently switched from the reg Adrenaline to the Ariel for my regular road shoe, after the Adrenaline lost most of the support in the body of the shoe (not sure how they still call it a stability shoe). I needed a new trail shoe and decided to try the Adrenaline ASR, hoping it hadn't undergone the changes its road counterpart had. It hadn't and it's fantastic. Great cushion with that motion control I need, all while feeling surprisingly light and nimble. I run on mostly dirt trails with tree roots but few rocks a d rolling hills. Not sure how it would do on really technical, rocky trails but great for what I run on. Zappos should update the description. This is a stability, not a cushion shoe as it says.

I like these more than I thought I would. The fit and comfort are very good for my tender feet. The support is very good and I don't seem to need to add my orthotic. I ordered a 9.5, as I usually do for athletic shoes as I wear thicker athletic socks for extra cushion, and they fit just right. I walk mostly on concrete and need all the cushion I can get.

This is a great shoe. I did have to go up a full size from the Addictions I use to wear. I probably could have even gone another 1/2 size up for running but they didn't have that in stock and they seem to be working out OK. The width is more snug but not uncomfortable. Zappos did a great job working with me as I've had to return two pair to get a good size.

I liked these shoes but Brooks really needs to update the colors to be more subtle. They were stiffer than typical adrenaline running shoes, but the traction was better. Felt true to size. Returning because of the color

The best fitting shoes I think I've ever had. Now if they could tone down the color pallet and make a waterproof version, I'd be in heaven.

They are super cute, just not comfortable for me. I have foot issues, so it's hard to find comfort. They did run a little smaller Brooks I've had before.
