I wear size 14 but ordered size 15 because I KNEW Asics run small and are naturally narrow feeling (they are wrestling shoes after all). The one full size up fits me perfect. Very comfortable shoes.

I don't think these are men's sizes. I am a female boxer and wear a men's size 6.5 in wrestling shoes and I couldn't even get my feet into the 6.5. I ordered a full size up (7.5) and while I got my foot in, they felt very tight and were pressing uncomfortably on the top of my foot, my toes and the outer edge of my foot. I can't imagine they would be comfortable in the ring so I'm returning them. They looked great but didn't seem like they would perform well.

ATTENTION! This shoe is at least one (if not more) size smaller as well as the width. Both shoes in photo are same 11.5 size ordered at the same time. In general great shoe from Asics as always, light and yet well build. This size thing is so obvious that it needs to be taken into serious consideration! Cheers.

Wrestling shoe that offers a good combination of flexibility and support for on-mat activities.

The snapdown 2's are extremely comfortable and the only small problem I have with them is that (and it may just be my own foot shape tho I did not have this with the 1's) there is a gap at the bottom of my leases. And I know I may be being nitpicky but I have been able to stop looking at it

ASICS wrestling shoes always hold up well to wear and are a great value. These did not disappoint.

After reading previous reviews we knew to order up. We started by ordering 1/2 size bigger than usual but that was still too tight. My son is usually a 10 and we had to go to an 11 to make it work.
Otherwise seems to be a good, comfortable, secure shoe for wrestling.

I'm a size 10 but these size 10 were a bit too tight. I returned them and bought a 10.5. They fit perfect! can't wait to start training with them. So comfy I might just wear them like normal sneakers.

If you have wide feet like me you should go up half a size and get them in Wide (which seems to only be available online). Then the fit is perfect. I use them for practicing historical fencing and the thin soles are great for footwork.

Asics wrestling shoes are inconsistently sized, which makes it frustrating to buy online. For a decade I wore a very tight pair of size 8.5s, and (after gaining about 25 lbs) I moved into a size 10 matflex which fit perfectly and was super comfy. I have wide-ish feet. But my son grew into them and claimed them (also wide feet), so I figured I wouldn't get an identical pair that we would get confused (mistake), and I bought the Snapdown 2 in size 10.
It was a mistake for me at least. Uncomfortably narrow and slightly long. Hard to believe they are the same size from the same manufacturer. Just weird that they don't use the same last from shoe to shoe.
I also have a pair of Aggressor 3s in 10.5 (assuming my son's feet would grow) and they fit me fine in terms of width, but are just a half inch too long.
I tried to trade the gray Snapdowns to my son for my year-old Matflexes, but no luck. Smart kid.
The stars in my review reflect the iffy sizing variations and the fact that wrestling shoes are tools, not fashion items. As long as they don't fall apart, style is irrelevant.

Orders men's size 6, which translated to a European size 37 -- smaller than the 39 I had expected per the size chart. Much smaller than we needed.

they need to make snap downs for women of 6.0 shoes. I wear this style but always very very limited if not always wearing the same color

Asics are good wrestling shoes, but these are Too Narrow...bought the wide width for my son with wide feet and the sole comes up right at the pinky toe which gives no flexibility. Ok so they are wider than normal wrestling shoes but for those with extra wide feet that need it to stretch at the pinky toes don't try this one...it won't stretch there.

ATTENTION! This shoe is extremely narrow and at least a size smaller (check photo). That being said this is a specialized wrestling shoe so keep that in mind. Even if I order extra wide I doubt that would fit me. Looks great, feels great to touch and as always from Asics but simply does not fit.

I wear an 11.5 so I ordered a 12.5 Medium and it was still so narrow I couldn't even get my feet into the shoe.

Not comfortable. Very narrow. No arch support or footbed padding. You will likely need a 1.5 size larger than your regular shoe. Sort of flimsy.

The sizing is very wrong. I ordered a 10 and it was so tight I had to send it back. Even a 10.5 won't work. Too narrow.

These shoes did not fit at all. We ordered wide width, yet my son's feet hang over the sides of these shoes. In addition, these shoes are not tall enough; the squash my son's toes down into the shoe-bed. He measures an 8 or 8.5 wide, so these 9 wide shoes should have fit very well. Instead, they were much too small.
