These shoes run small. I have to reorder an entire size up. We shall see how that turns out. I have the GT1000-5 and they did NOT have this issue, they were true to size. What happened Asics? Why must these companies completely change their shoes every year.

Loved the Asics GT1000 5 and the 6's are awful - incredibly stiff, shorter toe box (not good for longer toes), boxy looking shoe and arch hits in a funny place. I thought they were fine walking around the house...however on the trail my feet hurt. I purchased two pairs with high hopes. The unworn ones are going back to Zappos, the others to be donated.

I really researched these before deciding to keep them. I was so excited to have a pair of shoes that would be comfortable and I could not have been more wrong. Every inch of my body hurts when I wear these shoes, even after wearing them about 8-10 times. I'm so disappointed. I was almost in tears with my friend last night because I could hardly stand with such unbearable pain. $80 down the tubes.

I ordered this shoe for many years and am so disappointed that they changed how it fits. It used to fit perfectly in a wide width. This shoe is much more narrow than the GT-1000 3 that I currently wear. It was stiff and no longer comfortable. I hope ASICs listens to client feedback.
