It's hard to tell from the photo, but this shoe is extremely narrow in the toe box area -- from the ball of your foot up through the toe end, even in regular width. The heel felt right, though, so going with a wider shoe would probably cause the heel portion to be too big, if your feet are widest across the ball of your foot.

I love the look of these shoes and they run true to size. My only issue with them is that they have a somewhat shallow heel cup, and my foot slips out when I walk. This happens even with pads I put at the top of the heel cup, which I hoped would grip my heel a little and stop the slipping. I was desperate for a pair of casual shoes in my weird size 11.5, so I kept them. I wear them mostly for short trips that do not entail a lot of walking.

I ordered the double wide and it was too narrow. I think they changed their sizing.

I'm always happy to find a loafer in a narrow. Otherwise my foot just flops around. This fit fine and felt great. But the color was way off from the picture. The picture shows a bright vibrant red, the show is really a cranberry color. The color makes it looks frumpy and geriatric. Sad, but I have to return them. I feel like I'm wearing a grandmothers shoe.

I have a really bad left foot - bunion and hammer toe. These shoes are like walking on clouds. I bought the wine, and it felt so good I also ordered in black.

These are beautiful leather shoes. They can be worn casual and dressed up. SAS quality, manufacture, and materials continue to be first rate. Only reason I had to return them was because of an injury, my foot is going to be swollen for awhile, and the one shoe is just too snug over the injury. I'm still an inveterate SAS fan.

The SAS Simplify is truly the only shoe that I can wear! My foot is skinny, long, and flat. I have a bum hip, so I cannot reach a shoe that needs to be tied or buckled. I need a slip on, lsof teather, with a little arch support. Need it to be soft and giving, but look decent, not like grandma's old oxfords. I wear size 10-S, almost impossible to find. This shoe comes in a number of colors. Which is great, since it is the only shoe in my closet. I currently have it in 3 colors,. This is my 3rd pair of Navy from over the years. My new pair? I slipped them on in the morning, and they were a delight to wear all day. Great shoe!

A few years ago, I bought the brown crocodile version of this loafer. I wear a size 10WW, but squeezed into a 10W because they were on clearance and more comfortable than a sneaker. They lasted two+ years in perfect condition and I recently decided to spring for a full-price pair in the right size. They are incredibly comfortable and look great with everything. I highly recommend them.

The SAS Simplify is a nice looking loafer. It's more streamlined than many "comfort" loafers. Problem for me is that it runs narrow compared to the SAS Twin loafer (which, of course, is much more clunky looking and has much more cushioning). I would like to have been able to keep the Simplify loafers but they were too narrow in the forefoot and non-bunion friendly for me.

I got these for my 88 year old, still active mother. (Way to go mom!) SAS is her favorite shoe and she has several in her closet and one just like this in black but in a narrow width. Now, however she has foot issues (hammertoes and bunions) an has had to get her current SASes (N) stretched at the cobblers, with only slight improvement in width and comfort. So, I thought we could try the wide to see how that worked out. Did I say she loves SAS shoes!! Yes, I know I did and I was so hoping I could find a way for her to have her favorite shoe brand and have more comfort for her foot issues (she absolutely won't wear more orthotic looking shoes-understandable mom!) Unfortunately, her heel majorly sliped out of the back with the wide width so we are going to try a medium next. Zappos, thank you for making it so easy to try shoes, return if necessary and try again! Love Zappos!!

The shoes are beautiful. The leather soft. The only problem I have is the heel is a little wide so slips some.

Beautiful, supple embossed patent leather. Looks great casual and dressed up. True to size and width. I'm a hard-to-fit narrow, and the AA fit like a glove.

I wear an 11 slim and have a terrible time finding shoes that fit. I slipped these on right out of the box and wore them all day - so very comfortable and classic style. Leather is soft and feels wonderful, great support. The navy is a nice dark navy.

I repeat to buy the same shoes in different colors, only because they are so comfortable, so easy to order and a thoroughly pleasant experiences. MK

These shoes were so cute but unfortunately too tight in the toe box for me. Unfortunate because SAS usually fits me perfectly.

I have this exact shoe in black croc and it fits me perfectly. The SAS shoes are not consistent and this one is a little shorter, more narrow and it SQUEAKS no matter what nylon or foot liner I wear.

The narrow width in my size (8 1/2) was not narrow enough in the heel. My heel kept slipping out of the shoe so unfortunately, though I liked the style the fit was not good for me. I had to return the shoes.

5th attempt at finding a silver(y) shoe which fits. 5th pair being returned. I have this shoe in another color (not now available) in the same size, 7.5 WW, which had been exchanged from a 7.5 W. Both left shoes slip ins the back heel area but the right shoes are fine. I did not return the initial pair of 7.5 WW (blue) but I don't wear them too often. These shoes are well made in the USA (I have other SAS shoes), long-lasting but fit is iffy. Depends on the style which size I get, but although these are lovely silvery shoes I will be returning them, can't stand to have one shoe slipping in the heel.

These are stylish and comfy loafers. But, as noted by other reviewers, the geek cup is too shallow. My heel popped out of shoe with every step. Sadly, this pair must be returned.

This shoe is beautiful and fit my narrow, high-arched foot perfectly. Love this one so much that I bought two black pairs and am waiting for the red ones to be back in stock.
