Super comfortable. Only one problem, and its bad enough that I would never buy these again.
These are super slippery when wet. Not slippery between the ground and shoe, but between the shoe and your feet.
I dont wear these to a pool. I dont wear these into a shower. Wet feet and these shoes dont mix.
Its a shame, because they are awesome when they are dry.
But a rubber flip flop that I cant wear to the pool is just wrong.

As a Ranger for The Dyrt, I get products to test from time to time. On this trip, I tested the Women’s OOriginal Sandal. The OOFOS sandals (or flip flops as I can’t help but call them) are kind of amazing. They claim to be recovery shoes. I had NO idea what that meant until I had them. Basically, these are meant to be worn after any type of high impact activity such as running, hiking or anything else that keeps you on your feet for an extended period of time. I’ve been wearing them daily for the last week. I’ve worn other shoes to work and then come home to my OOFOS… amazing. I’ve worn my OOFOS to work.,.,. amazing. I’ve gone hiking for a few miles then come back to camp and put on my OOFOS… amazing.
These sandals claim to float and be washing machine safe. I did actually put them in the lake, and, thankfully, they do float. They aren’t so buoyant that you can’t walk in the water with them but they aren’t like trying to step on a boogey board. Bottom line is if they end up in the water they will float. I think this adds to the “perfect” checklist for any boater because who loves being out in the lake and losing their stuff!? I’ve also put them through my washing machine and they have come out the other side much better than when they went in. I have a High Efficiency set which often means “really” dirty stuff like these shoes won’t come out clean on the first wash but these look pretty good! Also, there is no degradation of the material or the structural integrity of the sandal.
I can’t truly tell you what the sandals are made of… but it’s a high density foam of some sort. They are soft enough that you would want to believe they are memory foam, but they don’t hold your shape when you take them off. The shoes are very supportive and when you take them off they instantly retain their original shape. They have arch support, which for me is often a bad thing. I generally have flat feet but the arch support on these is comforting and actually worth wearing. There is a pattern on the inside of the sandal which gives you grip when your feet are wet or slippery. They also have tread on the bottom of the sandal that will prevent you from slipping in slick conditions. I wore them around camp for a few days and had no issues with the dirt, asphalt, pine needles, etc.
Overall, I have fallen in love with my OOFOS. They are great for day-to-day wear and amazing for recovery wear. The wide range of color choices means you can easily find a pair that will fit in with your style. The foam is supportive and easily beats out any general flip flop for comfort in daily wear. I’ve used them after 8 hours of standing on hard wood… I’ve used them after 8 hours at the office… I’ve used them after 4 hours of hiking… and I’ve used them just because… and all of these are amazing.

These may be the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn. They were recommended by my podiatrist. I am currently being treated for a mild case of plantar fascitis. I have not taken them off except when I go to bed. I purchased the Original thong sandal. I must have read 100 reviews on the internet before deciding which size to purchase. Some reviews said the shoes ran large, others said small, some said wide, some said narrow. It was totally confusing. Maybe some reviews were not posted to the correct type of shoe. The OOFOS Original Sandal comes in one width - Medium. I wear a size 7 W in a thong sandal. I wear a size 8 W in athletic shoes (I buy larger size so that I can use custom orthotics, thick socks). I have small bunionettes (taylors) on each foot so I prefer the wider shoe so that my feet aren't on the outer edges. Basically, the width of the OOFOS Original Sandal is like a size W (wide). It fits my feet perfectly. I bought a size 7 (my usual size in thong sandals), and they fit perfect. If you have a narrow foot, this sandal may be too wide but for medium and wide width feet, it fits beautifully.

I bought these to replace a four year old pair of baisc black Oofos. While I have wide-ish feet, this style has a men's footbed, would have been perfect if I had seven toes on each foot. Order the Ooh Lala's if you want a women's footbed.

These are extremely comfortable BUT very slippery when wet! When you get out of water & put these on your feet will slide inside the shoe. In fact on only my 2nd day with them I got out of a pool, put them on & in a few steps my foot slid forward & ripped the front of the slipper right off. So I'd recommend them for comfort just don't get wet

Having PF and heel bone spurs I have to wear a good shoe/sandal with arch support. After needing a new house thong type sandal and reading the reviews on this brand I thought I would try them. The arch is quite high but after wearing them around the house for a while I got used to the feeling. They are very soft on the foot, have been great to wear on my hardwoods for support. Bought the pink ribbon black ones but mine don’t have a pink ribbon on them. Not sure what happened.

I'm training for another marathon and several runners were raving about these Oofos "recovery" sandals. I couldn't decide between the flip-flop style or the slide style, so I bought both. I found they both run a little narrow, but the slide seemed really narrow. I ended up keeping the flip-flop style and returning the slide style. I'm a 7M in my normal shoes and I purchased the 7 in these. I don't remember if they come in a wide, but if you have a wide foot, I would recommend you purchase the wide version. They are very wide overall, but the part where your foot goes through seems tight and I don't feel like I have a "wide" foot.
I've been wearing these around the house as "slippers" and also a bit outside. They are super cushy and comfortable, but still have good arch support and a slight heel, so good for those of us who don't want to put added strain on our Achilles and calves. I highly recommend!

Absolutely love this shoe. Bought it because I recently had surgery for PF and needed a shoe I could wear to the pool and in the gym shower as hard surfaces are still difficult for me. It has been so great during my recovery process that I now need to order a second pair because I don't want to give these up to my gym bag! Grateful for the relief these have provided while I heal and look forward to continuing to wear them.

I love these shoes. With my many foot issues (bunions, hammertoes, flat feet, arthritis, post surgical toe pain), these are the only ones I found that are comfortable. Thankfully I live in a warm climate so I can wear them year round.

After buying a lot of sandals trying to get some arch support I ended up with this particular style of Oofos. I felt that the strap of this model ($45) enabled the sandal to stay on my foot easier. Feet problems can come from the clenching motion of the toes to keep a flip flop on your foot, per my Physical Therapist. These don't shoes don't "flop" as the strap is very rubbery and keeps the foot in place.
I have many foot problems:Posterior tibial tendon dysfunction and plantar fasciitis. I noticed that walking barefoot in the summer around the house could cause some difficulty, so these are nice to wear in lieu of my athletic shoes with orthotics.

I have a black pair and a blue pair of these sandals. They feel good on my feet because I suffered from plantars fasciitis in the past and these sandals don’t hurt my feet like most do.
I had to give theses sandals an overall rating of one star because the blue pair I wear strictly indoors color rubs off on the carpet. This wasn’t something that just happened when they were new, it continues to happen over two years. You’ll see in the picture the dirty carpet where my feet sit when I’m at the dining room table.
A reminder, I only wear these blue sandals indoors so I’m not tracking outdoor dirt inside.
I’m really disappointed in these sandals because they are so comfortable but I can’t wear them inside because they stain the carpet.
Unfortunately I cannot recommend these sandals because of the aforementioned problem.
OOFOS charges a pretty penny for these sandals. Color shouldn’t rub off.

I wear am a 7.5D and got these in a W7 (38). I suffer from plantar fasciitis in my right foot, I bought these as house shoes and they are so comfy and my foot gets a great stretch when I wear them. I ended up purchasing a second pair to wear outside.

Love how my body, feet, knees, etc feel. I feel like I could walk miles in these shoes. I only wish they came in something a bit better looking closed toe that I could go to work in. As Realtor I'm on my feet a lot.

I have way too many flip flops, mostly because they always hurt my feet after a while. I love these. I love them so much I immediately bought a pair for my sister and husband, and another for myself for good measure. There is so much cushion that I can work all day on the stone floors of my kitchen without joint or food pain that evening. A first.

Absolutely LOVE OOFOS!!! I have worn orthotics for flat feet (which lead to knee and hip issues) for decades and I never thought I would be able to wear flip flops. I was wrong! OOFOS provide awesome arch support and have so much cushion that it's almost like walking on air. My arches actually feel stronger after a summer of wearing these and I can't remember the last time my knees or hips ached. I can spend hours a day on my feet when that would have been impossible before. I read that some reviewers feel that these are slippery when wet but I have not experienced that issue -- just thought I would throw that in. If you have foot issues, or even if you don't, please give OOFOS a try! I have 3 pair and counting!

This is my second pair of OOFOS and I really love them. I have a chronic illness that challenges mobility and I am quite overweight--5-3 @ 210#. The concern I have that others have not mentioned, is that the "cushioning" that is so precious to these shoes, appears to diminish over time. I assume that this is from the pressure I put on the shoes. That will not prevent me from ordering other pairs, but I am disappointed that the cushioning changes. The fit is appropriate for width and size (I ordered the next size up from my 8 1/2 typical size) and they feel fine. Thank you for providing these very comfortable shoes!

Absolutely marvelous! Not only do they cushion & support my arches, but they improve my posture in a way that eases my aching joints. My knees, hips & back are as happy as my feet. Highly recommend!

I got these to try for comfort with painful plantar fasciitis. They are comfortable, the arch support is good. They are a little bit on the cushy side. I compared them with the Spenco fusion and fade...I liked the Oofos better. I also tried the Aetrex Lynco flip, which I like and kept also because it is good for PF . The Aetrex is a firmer foot bed...though not as firm as Chaco. I like the fit of the Aetrex because it is a slimmer shoe. The OOFOS is wide and frankly unattractive...but serves the purpose of comfort with PF.

They were a birthday gift for my daughter who is on her feet all day. I knew I wanted to get her a pair after I got a pair last year. They are so comfy after a long day on concrete . I usually take them to work with me and change into them before my 45 minute drive home. Heaven!!!

I love these and wear them all the time BUT beware they are very very slippery when they get wet. Not at all good for the pool or beach. Very slippery both on the bottom and inside of the shoe. My foot slips off the shoe entirely when they are wet. Still they are so comfortable I wear them anyway.

What happened to OOFOS???? These used to be the softest most supportive flip flops ever and now they feel hard and "baggy" on my foot. They definitely changed the material and it is NOT the same.

My left foot remained a bit cranky following a garden misstep and the Oofos were recommended by my foot doctor. They are incredible and foot pain has receded :) I Posted the picture below on my Facebook page to share the joy of happy feet.
