I? bought this shoe for two reasons, I’ve always been a fan of Adidas and all other crossfit shoes out there sucked. Now the last statement isn’t necessarily true because the metcons and inov8 shoes are really comfy but I? didn’t want what everyone else had. Since I? was a kid Adidas has super comfortable shoes that last long. I? bought the white version of these when they first came out on Zappos and have never looked back. They are super comfortable for all workouts regarding crossfit and for running a mile or less. Good big toe protection and are tough. I? recommend to give them a try and go outside the normal.

Great for CrossFit or other HIIP workouts. These are very comperable to the Nano/Metcon shoes, however a bit on thicker side. I think the general CrossFit shoes fall into 2 categories: 1. True minimalist shoes that have very little in the way of fancy support and design (e.g., NoBull and some of the more recent Nano's) 2. CrossFit shoes that try to keep a minimalist feel while still providing some cushioning and support (early Nano's and most Metcons). These fall in the 2nd category. I also find the fit to be the same as other CF shoes - I wear a 9 in Nanos, NoBulls, and these. They are worth a try if you want to stand out a bit from what everyone else is wearing in your box and still have a great pair of shoes.

One of best shoes I have ever bought. A little stiff out of the box, but once you wear them in, you wont want to take them off.

Purchased these for CrossFit after previously wearing Nano 3/4/5 and NoBull shoes. I purchased the white ones and love the look. Perhaps the best looking CF shoes I've seen. Performance is a mixed review. These feel more substantial than any other training shoe I've worn. My foot feels cradled when squatting or lunging, which is a nice feeling. However they feel a bit more bulky and heavier than other shoes, so not as great for running or box jumps. Overall I think this was a solid first attempt at CF shoes by adidas. But I expect their second version to correct some of the issues and be a jump forward.

Not really a minimalist shoe. The shoe is rather heavy and has a thicker sole. They excel at squats and dead lifts. I would not use them for running, as they have minimal arch support. They run large. I wear a 10 in Nike frees and a 9.5 in sambas. I ordered these in a 9.5 and they're a bit too big. I would probably recommend a half size down. They are also quite wide, especially compared to a samba or Reebok Nano. The width doesn't compromise the fit, but it makes the shoes feel a little clunky. Overall, they're a substantial shoe that excels at weight lifting tasks, and it runs a little large and wide.
