Ordered an 'XL' after reading some reviews about it not being as tight as needed and one should order a 'size down'. Well, WRONG! If your fat starts right up under your breasts and bulges out from there down to the top of your pubic area...NO. If you have sort of 'normal, soft, belly fat' as in it's just all in your lower gut, maybe so. But if you're 'barrel chested' with fat on top of that, going smaller sized won't work. If you've got 'normalish' hips and butt, and a glob of softish fat on your mid/lower belly, yes go smaller. If you've got 'high', hard belly fat starting right under your boobs, smaller won't even slide over that. I tried. And I couldn't even get it over my 'regular' stomach. So a lot depends on the amount of stomach fat, and how high up it starts. Zappo's didn't have the larger sizes so I went to the company's website and ordered it according to the size THEY said I took, after tape measuring my area's. I ordered a 2X and it fit perfectly. Does it totally flatten my fat stomach? No. It DOES smooth out my body form and makes me look better. It DOES hold in my stomach SOMEWHAT and definitely my waist area. Overall I LOOK better. But no, not flat stomached. I think I'd have to have a tie-up hard core old time corset for that. Or surgery. LoL. The top portion is a non issue. It's fine. A well made, soft and strong, sturdy material, 'comfortable (?!!) bodysuit if you get the correct size.

In comparison to the briefs, this body suit stays up with the help of the straps. Very comfortable and easy to go to the bathroom. Bought it in nude as well.

This seems to have a pretty long torso. I’m 5’ 7” and the torso is too long for me. The hook and eye is easy to use, and it’s relatively comfortable for shape wear. I was in a pinch so I kept it, but would’ve returned it due to the long torso length.

I loved how this shaped and compressed...but the straps would NOT stay up on my shoulders. I do have small shoulders, so maybe that was why? I wanted it to work SO bad but it just wont if the straps constantly fall down.

well made item! Had to return, just didn't fit me well. I am short waisted, and the "scoop" part overlapped my breast area in front, making weird dents in the sides of my bustling. defeated the purpose of the smooth silhouette. Really did a nice job on my tummy though, and did not smash/flatten my butt.

Love this shaper! Did a great job of smoothing and sucking in my belly. Definitely recommend!!
