My two-year-old loves these boots. She can put them on herself easily and she likes to stomp to watch them light up. She has very wide feet, but I just ordered a size up from her usual size and they fit fine.

In general rain boots have low to no arch. They have cloth padding on the sole that covers the outsole and makes them comfortable. If you want you can add thin odor eater insoles like I did. My kid likes them. Comfy enough to splash in the rain and make them light up. They had a strong pvc smell that wouldn’t go away but that was because I always boxed them when not in use. Now I leave them on the shoe cubby by the door and they don’t smell at all. I almost sent them back… by glory I sent the wrong ones so I think they were meant to get a second chance. I recommend these boots. They are easy to clean, fun and functional. Give them breathing room and the smell fades.

These were officially a gift for a 5yr old friend. She absolutely loved them! Light up, rainbow, easy on and off... what more could you want? They do smell plastic-y when you first get them but it wears off quickly once they are out of the box. They’ve been a go-to for my daughter in the rainbow dot for years.

I'm not sure yet about comfort. These are a Christmas gift for my daughter. They are exactly as pictured. Beautiful! I hadn't noticed they light up. My six year old is going to love them.

These boots are adorable. The colors in the print are super vibrant and the lights in the heel are multiple bright colors. If you haven’t had Western Chief boots before, the print is actually a fabric that is adored inside the boot. I like this bc the color stays vibrant throughout the life of the boot and they are very easy to keep clean. I wanted a cute but functional rain boot for my daughter and I love this brand. The handles allow for her to easily slip them on herself. They come clean easily after being in mud puddles and the color stays incredibly vibrant through the life of the boot. There is a very strong plastic smell when you open the box. It does linger for long while. I would say it is entirely gone after a month of the shows being opened. It doesn’t bother me, but I can see where it would bother some. Also, inside the boot, there is a size label that was extremely sticky when I touched it. It was like the label didn’t set to the fabric of the boot. I had to entirely rub it off before my daughter could wear them. Removing the inside label wasn’t hard, but it was rather gross. It was very sticky and left a residue both in my hands and the inside of the shoe. It wasn’t enough to return the boot but it was inconvenient.

Cute, waterproof, sturdy, easy to clean and daughter likes them but they have a very strong vinyl smell even after months of having them, and maybe thats bc I always put them back in their box. I will leave them out of the box to see if the smell lifts a little with breathing room. Everything except the smell is as expected and that's what she needs.

So far so good. Standard rain boots with a sturdy sole. Should work great for the rainy season. My daughter loves the fun pattern and the light-up factor!

Perfect for its use! Easy to remove foot lining for everything to fully dry when soaked. No arch support but kids didn't complain. Fun light up feature. Wears well. Have been able to pass on to younger children when older ones grow out of them.

Size and quality of the rain boot was great...except the lights. The right boot won't light up 75% of the time. Due to that and a 4 year old wanting light up boots, I had to return these. Disappointing because they are really cute!

These boots have a horrible plastic/chemical smell. I will not be buying this brand again.
