While this shoe felt 1/2 to a whole size smaller than what I usually wear (11), it's very hard to put on. It's a tongue-less shoe that slip on, but it's very tight.

I was looking for trainers that would hold my feet secure even during intense training like Insanity. These are perfect. Some have written that they feel tight. Well, for me that is exactly what I want. They fit like a second skin. My feet feel 100% supported. The only thing I worry about is getting them on. At home I use a shoehorn because they fit so snug. But I don't have that luxury at the gym. I worry I am going to crush the heel as I have done with other shoes without tongues. I guess time will tell. For right now though, I could not be happier.

Feels and looks great

Bought these as a gift for my husband. He loved them! Can't believe how light and comfortable they are – – perfect for summer and traveling. Loves the navy color with bright blue accent. A great alternative to his heavier/more structured athletic shoes.

Orange is A LOT brighter than it seems in the pictures. Shoes are also shades darker than the grey shown.

Really great shoe! So far they are holding up really well and are very comfortable. I plan on buying more in other colors.

This is my 4th Nike Free's. I am huge fan but unfortunately the lack of a tongue on the v7 is a massive fail. I've tried to break these in but unfortunately the back of my feet continue to get cut up. Try with socks but the irritation is still unbearable.

Size was as expected. Bought these for my husband who is really picky about the fit of his shoes and he had no complaints. Good shoe for the price.

Excellent fitting shoe and very comfortable. I don’t know why so many people are giving this show bad reviews. Probably just Nike haters. Fits like a slipper. They have a very stable feeling sole, they are light and secure feeling. Great shoe.

Just tried these out in the gym and found them to be extremely lightweight, comfortable, supportive and well cushioned. In addition, felt stable while back squatting and comfortable while running. Slightly challenging to get into at first with built in tongue but I got used to it. Overall, great shoe .

Light and Comfortable! These shoes saved my bacon on a recent two week trip that required extensive urban walking. I had picked up a pair of different, dressier sneakers that ended up hurting my feet from just the 10 hour flight. I had packed these on a whim since they were so light anyway. Instead of those fancier sneakers, I racked up the miles with these Nikes on city streets, stairs, and mass transit. As always with Nike, I run at a men's 11.5 (I'm typically between an 11 and 11.5).

toe box is too tight. bought 6 pairs of difft styles and this one is the odd man out even though i liked the style best.

Love them

The shoes look great but they are super narrow. I can only get them on with a shoe horn and even then they don't go in easy. My feet are not wide or narrow, average.

Large size (15) runs short and narrow

My intention was to replace a pair of Nike Free 5.0 that I have worn for a year. These are a total different style. They do not have a movable tongue and they don’t look as attractive. The fit was also roomier than the 5.0. This shoe was not for me. Thank you Zappos for making the return process easy,

I normally like Nike Free shoes, but in this case I was very disappointed due to the "no tongue" part of this shoe. The lack of a movable tongue means this shoe fits more like an aqua sock (remember those things?!) than a workout or running shoe. In other words, this shoe looks good but unless its a perfect glove-like fit out of the box for you, you might be disappointed.

I liked the look and feel. The seem to be made of twine Both top eyelets on the left shoe broke after 6 weeks. I assume may shoes were defective. I exchanged for anther pair hopefully this won't happen again

Sneakers were two different sizes and the soles were dirty, indicating they were used.

I did not wear these sneakers much, and one of the loops broke when tightening the laces, making the sneaker virtually unwearable. On the plus side, very light weight and comfortable Zappos was great giving me a full credit - will swear by them going forward when buying foot ware!

I have worn Nike Free Trainers for many years. These new v7's have a different eyelet design - thin loops instead of eyelet holes in the shoe fabric. After two months, two of these loops have broken and others are fraying. There is no way to repair the broken loops. The shoes are now unwearable. Too bad because they look and feel great.

Very disappointed. These shoes look great and are comfortable but after only 1 month of wear they have two holes in the side and one of the loops that holds the laces has also broken. I didn't even wear these everyday. Only wore them to play tennis and kickball. Really poor quality.
