I was hesitant to get these because of the negative reviews, but so glad I did. I have worn saltwaters for about 10 years and have 3 pairs of the originals so this style was new for me. I have big feet and the 9Y/11W is my perfect fit so I was worried when some said these ran small because there is nothing larger.... but knowing Zappos' awesome return policy I decided to give them a try. First of all let me say that the soles are the same so in terms of length you're getting the same thing as the originals. The adjustable buckle gives you lots of options for narrow to wide feet. The leather seemed a bit hard out of the box but I just wet them and walked around with them on until they dried and they are perfectly comfortable now. Unfortunately these are not as comfy as the originals but they are a close second. I got the rose gold and I must say that I am in utter LOVE....what a beautiful color, so classy , so feminine...they are perfect for dressing up or down. Classic slides are my new Saltwater Faves!!!!

My newest shoes of summer in Mustard! Cute to dress up or down. I have the classic Salt Water Sandals in Black and these are a new fun color addition to my collection. Tips & Tricks: • The fit is a bit tricky if you don't own other Salt Water Sandals. I am a Women's 10 in all shoes but in these I wear a Big Kid 9(Women's 11). • They really go in water! As a kid we used to wear these at the beach. But even better -- just wet them down and wear them if there are any spots that are rubbing or uncomfortable and it's pretty much instantly fixed. • The gold is a pale gold, which was too light for my pale pale feet.

I love these shoes, I’ve worn them every day since I got them. I had to order a size bigger than my regular salt water sandals with the ankle strap, I don’t know if it’s a difference between the two styles or if it’s because the sizes have changed (my regular salt waters are 4 years old) but once I got them one size up they were great. A little tip to break in all salt waters: just get them a bit wet and wear them until they dry. Then they’ll be so comfortable you won’t want to take them off.

these are great little sandals. Easy to wear right out of the box. I wear & ladies 6-6 1/2 the 5 fit perfectly

These take a bit more breaking in than the traditional salt water sandals, but once you break them in (wear them 2 to 3 times), then they are super cute and comfortable! Pleased with my purchase. They look great with everything I wear!!!!

I have classic salt water sandals in a size 7 (size 5 is inscribed on the bottom) and so that is the size I ordered these in. When they arrived, they seemed so much smaller, my heels and toes were almost hanging off the edges. I returned them and am waiting for that to finalize before I order a new pair in the next size up. I don’t know if the sizing has changed since I bought my original salt waters 4 years ago, or if the sizing is slightly different between the slides and the original, but these ones were just too small.

Love love love! I’ve been looking for a quality pair of slides for MONTHS. I’ve literally bought and returned like 10 pairs. I was holding off on these because I was worried they wouldn’t stay on my feet, but they do!! Very comfy for what they are, obviously they don’t have arch support and are thin so if that’s something you NEED these aren’t for you, but I’ve worn them out for shopping, drinks, dinner etc and I haven’t had a problem. Only downside is they seem to run a little small. In pretty much all sandals I wear a women’s 8 (which I ordered at first) but I had to return them and get these in a 9. Also you will need to wear them around the house for a day or two to get the leather to form to your foot otherwise it’ll probably give you blisters on the top of your foot.

These sandals are adorable and will work with so much of my wardrobe this summer. I purchased them in black. They are a little narrow for me, I think my feet are on the wider side, but the strap has a little give. I think these will break in nicely. Highly recommend.

Very attractive and simple to wear (no ankle buckle!). They do seem rather stiff and will take some time to break in, but a great combo of casual and dressy!

These slides are beautiful, though I found that they run short and are hard on my feet. I knew going in that these are a flat sandal and didn’t expect any support, but even among flat sandals, these are fairly hard. I couldn’t wear them more than a couple of hours around the house before an ache set in from the lack of support. I know that others can wear their Salt Water sandals all day and even to Disney, but that won’t be possible for me. Still, the leather and rose gold color are beautiful and the sandal overall is super stylish. So pretty. If I try another pair, it will be a size up from my usual size 7. The recommended size (a size down from my regular size) would not have worked.

I have always worn a women's 7.5/8 with room to spare, so I thought for sure these big kid 6/women's 8's would work. My foot took up the entire foot bed with not a bit of extra on either end. It was a little too close for comfort. I also knew they wouldn't be a supportive sandal, but didn't expect them to feel as minimal as they do.

Just a heads up - I think they have the Big Kids/Women's sizes reversed on this site. I wear a Women's Size 8 in Salt Waters, and ordered a size 8 -- it was comically small. A size 9 was slightly too small, so I'm exchanging -- again -- for what's listed on this site as a Women's Size 10/Big Kids Size 8.

I've worn these shoes one time and very much wish I hadn't as now I cannot return them. I love the two other pairs of Saltwater Sandals that I've bought here over the years, but this style is very uncomfortable after wearing for a few hours while out running errands. (I had worn them around the house when they arrived, making sure they fit and were comfortable -- but not for hours.) In addition, the part where the leather meets the base appears to be pulling up after only one wearing, and there is a thread lose on the bottom of one of the soles. Even if I were to wear them this summer (which I won't due to the pain), I do not think they would hold up. My other two pairs of Saltwater Sandals have lasted for many years, so this was unexpected.

Love the simplicity of these sandals. They look great, are easy to throw on and go with anything from casual to dressy. They are not the kind of sandals you want to walk miles in but for normal day to day, errands, shopping etc they are perfect!

They are super cute on! Easy to slip on and off. Reminds me of when I wore salt water sandals as a kid.

Shoes are as comfortable as the other salt water sandals I have.

Loved the look of these sandals … use to wear them in the kids style … years ago … really loved them … they looked so cute on … but the sole’s are “too hard”on the bottoms of my feet … I need a more “cushy”sandal … boo hoo …

I wear a US women's 5.5 normally and wear a Little Kids 3 (US 5) in the standard style of Saltwater Sandals. I read a few reviews that suggested sizing up, so I bought the Big Kids 4 (US 6) and glad I did. While the foot bed is a smidge longer than I'd normally like, I'm pretty sure if I'd ordered my normal Little Kids 3 they'd have been a bit too small. Listen to the reviewer who suggested getting them wet to break them in: brilliant! One shoe was particularly rough on my skin out of the box (since you need to wear them closer to your foot to keep them on), so I got the leather that faces your foot wet both the first two times I wore them. Almost instantly helped. Perfect!
