Bought this pack for my short hiking trips in Colorado but decided to give it a go on a recent snow shoe adventure to lighten my load as we had an 11 mile trek planned through deep snow. It worked like a champ! Took a little adjusting to get it right in my shoulders and the sternum strap helped lock it into place, it didn’t move around too much and I didn’t find myself constantly adjusting like I would with my old pack. Love that I have the option to put extra water or oxygen canisters on both sides on the outside pockets and there are even straps you can use to hold them in place as well as compress the load inside the pack. Was able to have all my snacks, small first aid pack, necessities and easy access to store extra layers as the day warmed up...probably wouldn’t fit my big poofy coat but I did take out the insulated layer and my extra snow pants, rolled them up and it was perfect. There is even a little section at the top to throw in car keys, ID and chapstick as I don’t carry a purse when I head up to the mountains. Looking forward to many outdoor adventures with this pack tagging along!

I’m 5’0 105lbs. I thought this bag felt too big/long for my frame. The straps also feel like they will rub my neck.
