These are a cute sneaker with a lot of support--dressier than regular sneakers so I can wear them to my job as a college instructor. They are very similar to the Soft VII ($50 more) in looks but run narrower and shorter. Following earlier reviews I sized up. I appreciate that even in the bigger size they are narrower and fit my narrow heels better (I have the Soft VII in the next size down). These shoes start out stiffer but the arch support is in a better place and there seems like more arch support. I recommend these shoes in a size up. They look better without socks than the Soft VII.

Perfect sneakers for my recent trip to France. Fashionable and comfortable, no blisters nor discomfort during the daily 15k (or more) steps the entire time I wore them. They come in European sizes so mine was 5-5.5 which was a tiny bit larger than my usual 5. Used Dr. Scholl’s regular inserts which made the fit even more comfortable.

Lucky me - a comfy, attractive shoe that runs narrow! On the other hand, it does run short. In most street shoes, I wear a 9.5 AA or AAA. In athletic shoes, if it is a N or runs narrow, I usually get a 10. I should have heeded prior reviews. Instead, I've had to exchange the 40 for a 41. Because I the shoe runs narrow and laces up, I feel very secure and comfortable in this Soft style. I just came from an Ecco outlet hoping to find similar styles that run narrow. Alas, no luck. I so appreciate people who leave detailed reviews because it can be a huge challenge to find attractive casual shoes at a reasonable price for narrow feet. Thank you, and thank you Zapppos customer service for facilitating the exchange in such an expedient and warm-mannered way.

I so wanted to LOVE this shoe but it runs very narrow and short. Probably European sizing. I can always wear a size 12 but this size 12 to 12.5 was way too short and narrow. Sad, I have to return.

Tried the Soft VII sneaker which was nearly $50 more and incredibly comfortable, but unfortunately the heel was a bit wide on it so it slipped and I had to return it. At $100, these are not quite as comfortable, but still quite so. They tended to be a bit on the narrow side, but fit my narrow feet very well anyway. They're nice looking and easy to wear.

These had some nice arch support, but were narrow for my foot in the toe box. They appeared to be very well made.

These are awesome for leather, european styled sneakers. I am really excited to make my day to day look a little more polished than the dusty converse I had been wearing. They are really sturdy, good walking shoes, and I think I will be very comfortable wearing them for long days with lots of standing and walking. That said, here are a couple of things I learned about sizing: I am between sizes, and I ended up going up in size because the smaller size gave me heel blisters and squished my toes vertically. I have narrow feet but these fit me, and I don't have to tie them awkwardly tight (hooray!). I also have a tall big toe/toenail, which is another reason I needed the bigger size--the toebox isn't incredibly tall, and I could feel my toenail pressing against the leather in the smaller pair (even after removing their insoles).

Best sneaker I could've bought! I tried several options before choosing this shoe to wear walking 5-10 Miles a day in Europe. They are extremely comfortable and super cute. I bought them slightly bigger than normal due to European sizing, but after a full day of walking, they are perfect!

These shoes are super cute, but unfortunately not a good fit for my feet. The Inner stitching from the tongue rubs on the top of my feet in a way that's really uncomfortable. I don't have "big" feet. I'm returning them and will try a different model.

For the first time ever, I had to return these Ecco sneakers. At first I thought they were comfortable. Then I noticed the roughness under the tongue that created a lot of soreness on my feet. Also, there is a line in the front of the sole where it was molded. So disappointed in Ecco

Looking for a comfortable shoe to wear with jeans on a rainy day. I ordered this shoe and the Ecco Chase II Tie. Ecco Chase provided much better support for my flat feet and run a bit longer. Works well with my 9 Narrow foot. Ecco Soft Sneaker was a tad short, and not as comfortable. Also, Chase style was nicer, a bit less clunky.

Comfortable and stylish white sneaker. I wear 7M and 7-1/2 in sneakers and 6-1/2 in sandals. I ordered these in 38. My feet are a little wide in front and very narrow in back. My left foot is 1/2 size bigger than right. My biggest issue is shoes too tight at my left pinkie toe and slipping off the heel. These fit perfect. I love the metal grommets and the bone colored laces, which keep it from being boring, undiluted white. I walked 5 miles the first day I wore them.

I was looking for a classic white leather tennis shoe and like the styling and comfort of these the best. Grommets are metal, not painted ( Naturalizer Morrison) or missing altogether (Kenneth Cole Kam) and the bottom side edge is smooth, not textured, so they will be easier to keep clean. I usually wear a 6.5, or sometimes a 7, to accommodate my orthotic. The 38 works fine for me - roomy in length but not too big. The width is not too wide for my slightly narrow foot. Soft, quality leather. They're keepers!

I am beyond excited about these! The comfort & support are perfect. I have worn out about 5 pairs of Ecco Yucatan sandals that I wear often due to plantar fasciitis, but I needed a pair of sneakers for a trip. These are a great color & sporty as well as perfect for days of lots of walking.

Like someone else posted (thank you!) this style runs a little narrower than the VII with black laces, and it fit my narrow foot perfectly. It is also a little hight in the back, which is good for narrower heels. I wear an 8.5N and the size 39 was exactly right. I wore them the first day for 5 hours with no socks and had no blisters or slippage. Thanks Zappos!

These are super cute and very comfortable, with better arch support than most Eccos. Unfortunately, my narrow heels caused the usual issue I have with shoes: slipping heels. This doesn't always happen with Ecco shoes...

I ordered these for a walking trip to Seattle. Great shoe, walked 5 miles a day right out of the box. No break in necessary. I have a narrow foot and these fit perfectly. They have good arch support and so cute.

Great looking casual shoe for the summer. The leather is super soft, and required no break-in period. My only concern is the longevity of the shoe, since softer leather = more prone to scratches, etc., but so far so good! These run a bit short and narrow, but ordering a size up got the perfect fit for me.

I rarely ever wore sneakers. I would happily wear these every day. They are comfortable with good support for my high arches and ample toe room. I wear 6 - 6.5, a size smaller than a pair of my most comfortable Clark's shoes. The only down for me is that the soles are white; I would have preferred darker ones. If you want a blue shoe, beware. I still can't decide if the color is gray or blue.

Darn. Too narrow. Not to the point of being uncomfortable, but they looked strange on my feet. The hightop version fits much better.

I wanted to try a pair of Ecco shoes for some time, but hesitated because of the price. When these went on sale, I took the plunge. I ordered a size 39 (I usually wear a (U.S. ) size 8; these were a bit snug, even with a light weight sock. I loosened the laces, which improved the fit. These are cute shoes, but I would never describe them as comfortable! There is NO cushioning in the footbed! I removed the insert initially to see if they would fit better--it was like walking barefoot on cement. With thick socks, they are OK for a trip to the store, but I would never consider these for extensive walking. Too bad--I would like to wear them on vacation, since they are nicer looking than typical athletic shoes.

I bought these in 38 and 39 to try as I wear 7 1/2 or 8 in most shoes. I kept the 38. These are incredibly comfortable shoes. I wore them on a trip to Europe and did a consider amount walking in them.

I purchased an 8.5 (39)- and it fit true to size. I had enough toe room without my toes feeling tight. The width was normal but my c width foot did not feel tight. The heel is not too wide so there was no gap in the back as I walked. I thought the white leather is not really white and the laces are more like cream or bone. I changed the laces to white and it changed the whole look of the sneaker. I was happy once I changed the laces. When I wore them with white t-shirt with black cropped pants, the sneaker looked good. It was the perfect summer sneaker to wear with cropped pants or summer dresses and jeans. There was no arch support for me so I put my own insert.
