I wear orthotics all the time for flat feet, so it's a real struggle to find cute, stylish sandals that also have support built in. I was very excited to find these. They are stylish and trendy, and the insole does provide moderate arch support. If you are doing serious city walking for hours and hours and need very strong arch support, I would not recommend these for that purpose. If you are just out and about and want to look cute but not end the day with sore knees or feet, these are supportive enough. My feet are wide at the front and the opening of the shoe cut into me a little, so I took them to a shoe repair shop and for $11 they stretched the opening to make them fit perfectly and with no discomfort. Even though these sandals are already expensive, it was worth it to spend the extra money since I have such a hard time finding good shoes. I didn't get any blisters at all after wearing the shoes for five straight days with no break-in period. I wear a 5.5 and they run true to size. Major thumbs up!

I really like these sandals. I was hesitant to order them because they had only one "so-so" review. I worked in the shoe industry for years and am familiar with the sizing issues. I am a classic size 12 in length and width and these fit perfectly - so they are true to size and width. I found them to have more arch support than your typical fashion sandal - much more actually. They fit great, look really nice on. I'd highly recommend them.

This sandal was extremely comfortable, had good arch support, and looked great on. However, for $150, I expect better quality control from a company. One of my laces came damaged and the cloth lining between the leather layers on the sandal upper were fraying and sticking out beyond the cut design. Felt true to size and width.

I have three pairs in different colors of Earth Plover I got last year (love them!) and thought these were just a more gladiator-style version. These are nice, but don't seem as well-made, and the sole is thinner and less supportive. They have a strange sizing issue: the 9.5 is way too long, and I always wear 9.5 in Earth. So I exchanged for a 9 and my toes are just over the edge! More than half an inch! So now I have to return these.

I bought them in both the pewter and then also in the amber suede. I get many compliments and they are comfortable and supportive. You can zip them on quickly from the back and cinch more tightly with laces. You can dress them up or down depending upon your outfit. I specifically bought them for our trip to Europe so that I will be cool and comfortable this summer and have a supportive shoe at the same time. I wear them everyday! I love wearing gladiator style sandals, but in the past most brands were not supportive enough to endure walking long. I think I found that solution.

I recently underwent an ankle fusion surgery. After many months in a cast and boot I was ready to wear shoes. Alas all I could wear was athletic shoes. That is until I tried these shoes! They have a good arch and because of the lace up front and the back zip they are very adjustable around my still swollen ankle. I originally got the red and found them so comfortable and stylish that I ordered the black! Love them and highly recommend them!

Love them and get so many compliments. Needed a gladiator to dress up and dress down that could also handle walking tours in Europe this summer!

These shoes are very comfortable, the only issue is , the shoe sounds like air is swooshing out with every step that I took.

Ordered a size 9 in the red. They are beautiful. I normally wear size 8 1/2 in other shoes. Wore them once all day for work, and I had no foot pain. Nice padding. Suede is soft. Never bought this brand before, but I would buy again. Arch support didn’t bother me.

Stylish and comfortable. Perfect fit. I love the pewter metallic leather. I could and have worn these all day and they're still totally comfortable. All of these do not usually work together for my hard-to-fit foot. They look great with jeans, cropped pants or skirts.

Well because of my broken left ankle; I can’t wear shoes with any amount of heel height, of my ankle drops down inward really bad. And this had more height then I would ever be able to handle. They are by no means considered high but for me I need virtually flat very flat shoes without an arch because the arch pushes on bones that are misaligned. I wish they would’ve worked out.

Extremely comfy & cute! Purchased pewter color as well last year.

These are my new shoes for a Silversea voyage this coming September. I don't have pretty feet anymore, and all the spider veins are hidden by these amazingly pretty sandals. I'd also like to thank the ladies who said they fit like slippers They are very comfortable -- keepers indeed!

Love these. The metallic color could go with gold or silver and they are super comfortable. Can’t wait to wear them all summer!

I bought both the black and the tan. My main reason for buying certain shoes is that I pronate. I mostly wear Vionic sandals but don't like most of their styles. These are a perfect shoe for Spring and Fall - not quite a sandal but not a closed shoe either. I had enough arch support in these and stability to keep my foot from pronating. They are cute and funky and support my feet.

I love these - I usually wear Vionic sandals because I have very high arches and pronate. Most Vionics are not my taste, so I thought I'd give these a try. They are perfect - my feet don't pronate in these and they are perfect for Spring and Fall when the weather is too cool for a true sandal. In Vionic I wear an 8, but in these, I wear an 8.5. My feet are a tad wide but these were perfect.

These felt very comfortable, but I was afraid they would be too hot for my primary sandals for the summer, plus I would end up with super funky tan lines! I ended up returning, but would still recommend!

The Earthies Roma Sandals are just FABULOUS! I own them in Black from Zappos, and Gray, and Amber from the Earthbrands Website. I look forward to purchasing more colors in size 12 M when and if they are offered. I would love to purchase there in Midnight Navy (which is out of stock on the Earthbrands Website) and I would suggest these sandals be made in a dark Mustard, and a True Olive, which are also hot colors this year. These gladiator style sandals are similar in style to the Earthies "Harvey" which came out first, but had many unfavorable reviews on shoe websites I have read. (I tried the Harvey" Sandals on in a specialty shoe store and I tend to agree that the zipper wasn't so comfy and the laces did not feel so smooth. I also did not like the look or the feel of the higher heel in the back and there was way to much toe hanging out.)... It's cold in CT right now, but I gave these sandals a barefoot "test run" for 10 hours each for two days in the house and I can say that they feel soft and comfy on my tired old feet with my bad arches and ankles that need support. I felt no discomfort at all from the zipper at the heel and the best part is that I can tie them securely all the way to the top which gives me this 66 year old lady fabulous ankle support and a great current style that I can wear with pants and maxi dresses. My feet are narrow in the heel and wide in the foot bed and these are just perfect in a Medium. If I could make one tiny suggestion it would be to "tweak" the design so there would be less bare toe showing, which I think would make the look a little more dainty and feminine. I highly recommend the Earthies Roma.

I have plantar fasciitis in one foot and Morton's neuroma in the other, along with very high arches. Needless to say, I have to be careful about shoes and rarely find anything that deals with of these issues and are stylish as well. This shoe is an exception - it's SO COMFORTABLE on my terrible feet and I absolutely love the way it looks. It's adjustable - I can loosen it over my arches. I have the gray metallic - it goes with everything and isn't really all that metallic. Absolutely love this shoe. I also have the Earth Plover for a more casual look and love them too.

Cute shoes, but not enough arch support for me.

These shoes are really cute and true to size. I wear a size 12M and the fit was okay however the arch was higher than I expected and it was uncomfortable on my arch. If you need arch support these shoes are great but for me that one detail is why I'm returning them.

I had surgery on my left ankle and have to revamp my entire shoe collection and replace them with brands like Earth, shoes and sandals with a lot of support and no heel. I loved this but it just didn't work out for me, so this is a review for those of us with VERY flat feet. I had ankle surgery so one foot is still flat with no arch and the other isn't as bad. My left foot, the surgical one, felt fine. The flat foot, the right, was deeply uncomfortable. There was a lot of arch support that felt great on the left but was just too much on the right. It was pressing up into my lack of an arch and there was just too much pressure to be comfortable. Borderline painful. I have to return these because of the right foot even though the left fit perfectly. I'm ONLY returning them because of the one foot. I still loved these. They're adorable and true to size, and I love the lacing up the top so you can get a perfect fit. The design went up a little high on the back of the heel but it wouldn't have been an issue. My left foot felt supported and comfy. If you have regular feet or mildly flat ones you'll probably love these. I wish I could have kept them.
