I am so (pleasantly) surprised at the comfort of these sandals. I have plantar fascitis, Morton's neuroma, and sensitive skin to boot. These have a nice medium-level arch support, soft but still sturdy soles, and a soft nubuck leather upper. I was worried the leather would rub my big toe as some mentioned, but after wearing them twice, any fears of that have gone away. While the heel area looks like it might dig in, it doesn't at all! It is soft and conforms to the shape of your foot. The shoe also holds your foot nicely, providing support all around for overpronaters. I can't believe I can wear summery sandals like normal people! I'm usually the one wearing Danskos with my sundress! I *highly* recommend these. I got the neutral color and they're perfect for these size 11 problem feet.

I've never tried Earth brand shoes before and I'm very pleased with the quality for the price. The Shelly's have nice soft leather, moderate arch support and good padding underfoot. The peep toe area rubs slightly on both my (different length) feet, but I think that will stop shortly. The leather is soft, the elastics between front and back of the shoe/sandal make them interesting and more stylish, and the cutouts are cute. The taupe is a true neutral color -- even more neutral than it looks on my screen, so I'll wear them as my "default" casual sandals all summer. About a 1" heel -- not flat -- which I like a lot! True to size and width, as I wear a 9.5 medium to narrow, and these are perfect in 9.5. Try 'em. I just wish all shoes weren't made in nubuck these days. I still like smooth leather!

I have been battling plantar fasciitis forever! I usually only wear Brooks running shoes or Birkenstocks, as I do not work and get to stay home. I had a wedding to attend and needed some fashionable footwear that wouldn't have me limping by the time the wedding cake was cut! I am happy to report, I was able to enjoy the day. Now for my critique: As my feet began to swell during the day, there was some pinching, but I think that is to be expected. Nothing to make me focus on painful feet though. I was disappointed to see that these Earth shoes had very little arch or contour in the footbed. I thought this would kill my plantar, but I was okay! I ordered the sensible black, but really wanted the nude ones. Sometimes I hate being a grown-up!! Ha!

I love this little shoe! My only issue with it I think is more of a personal problem on my right big toe, it rubs, but not the left. Same with all my peep toe style shoes. So I will wear it to shape it but it's a great stylish slip on that looks chic with everything. So comfy is the sole that I can wear it all day. I am in the desert so need shoes with open areas and I like the heel so I am not gripping with my toes all the time to keep it on. I love what Earth brand has done, gotten away from the ugly toe, negative uncomfortable heel and moved into what has now become one of my favorite brands, nicely done Earth! And Zappos, well, what can I say? Happiest place on earth!

Great shoe and very, very comfortable! My teenage kids thought hey were cute and stylish and didn't look old fashioned. Wore them to a family trip - had long walks in airports and sight seeing and my feet didn't hurt and shoe went with many outfits so great I didn't have to pack multiple pairs of shoes. My sister and mom like them so much they ordered the same pair for themselves! Shoes felt true to size and good arch support.

Love them love them love them! I had a pair similar to these and was looking for a replacement, as I wore the other out. This style is great because I can wear custom orthotics in them, and still wear sandals! The back is tall enough to accommodate the orthotics without my heal slipping out. They are exactly what I was looking for.

My new favorite shoe! These hit all the marks for me: adorable, crazy comfortable and they go with just about everything!

I really wanted to like the shoes. They were extremely comfortable, the material was soft, and the shoes were cushy. However, the peep toe area was extremely wide. I didn't think it would be a problem, because I have problems with shoes that are too narrow anyway. However, every time I walked, I felt my feet sliding forward and out the shoes. Last thing I want is to have my toes hanging over the shoes! If the peep toe area was just a tad tighter and more supportive, then it would be perfect.

Let me start by saying I love this Shelly Earth style and I have another pair. They are absolutely so comfortable and I always get compliments. I wanted black leather but only the buck was available, so I went ahead and ordered them. Arrived yesterday and I put them right on. Very comfy like the others but I was shocked when just an hour later I took them off and my feet were black. Sorry, but I will return and wait for this style to come in leather!

Cute and comfortable. No bunion rub. Bought the taupe first and decided to get another pair. Tried the blue but they looked more like faded teal--I did not like the color with jeans. I bought my normal shoe size.

I would definetly go down atleast a 1/2 size. Mine came and was so that they were so big. Exchanged for a 1/2 size smaller. I like the color, more greyish than blue. Super comfortable.

The sole was very comfortable like most people have noted, but I feel like the part of the shoe that crosses the top of my foot would have started to dig in after long periods of wear. MORE importantly though, the black shoes DO NOT look like the ones advertised. There is no tan colored foot bed, there is no foot bed stitching; there is a cheap looking greyish piece of material covered the bed instead. Returning these unfortunately because they are not what was advertised.

I was apprehensive at first but these shoes looked so cute online that I had to get try them in person. They are versatile, trendy, and very comfortable. I am a teacher and on my feet all day and also have plantars fascitis. My feet are always very sore, especially at the end of the day. I think the support and style of this shoe is helping that. I haven't needed to wear inserts with these as the arch support is great for me. I think if there was a size between 8 and 8.5, I would have ordered that as they are very slightly bigger than I prefer but I am sure the 8 would be too snug. Overall, cute shoe. I'm glad I bought them.

These shoes are really cute, and the insole is very comfortable. Unfortunately, I had the same issue as other reviewers: the toe hole rubbed my toe in the wrong place. I wanted the shoes to work so badly that I ordered three pairs, hoping there would be a difference in fit. Unfortunately, they all hit my toe in the wrong spot. The nubuck leather is softer than the regular leather. These shoes run about 1/2 size large.

Adorable shoe! I normally wear a 8.5 W or 9 Medium. I ordered an 8.5 wide and had to return it for an 8.5 medium. The shoe is stylish, casual and comfortable and looks even cuter on than in the picture. The nubuck upper with perforations is comfortable and pliable EXCEPT right around the stitching on the top by your toes. That part - without the perforations - is a bit stiff. I'm going to put a Band-Aid under that part the first few times I wear the shoe out of the house. Other than that it is extremely comfortable - as some reviewers have said 'like a slipper.'

These are super comfortable, and it’s hard for me to find shoes that are cute and easy to wear! Love them!

I give these shoes 5 stars but only if you have no feet problems. These shoes are cute and feel like a slipper; however, I need support for an arthritic big toe, which this shoe does not have, for me. I found the arch support to be little not moderate. Unfortunately, I need to return. Love Zappos, will keep trying.

When I first put these on, I thought WOW! a cloud on my feet, covers my bunions, but is still a sandal that can show off my pedicured toes! Bit alas, my instep is too high. This sandal is cute, comfortable and easy to put on, so if you don't have an extremely high I step, I high.y recommend!

This shoe is very comfortable. I have aging feet, which means I don't have a lot of padding on the bottoms. Although I wish there were more, this shoe has adequate padding. The leather is soft and comfortable. I bought the dusty rose and love the color.

I kept these shoes but I am ambivalent about them. The styling is cute, the quality is great. The toe box is longer than I expected. and wider than usual for a B width, I think. I have a wide foot so a B width is usually either tight or just right but never too wide in the toe box. It gives the overall appearance of a Birkenstock footbed. They are comfortable and the fit on the arch and heel is good. I like the tan color-it's a good neutral. As I said, I am keeping them but am not crazy about them.

Perfect fit - soft leather - very comfortable shoe! And best of all, they were on sale!! Love these shoes!

Cute shoe, but needed to order down a half size and it wasn't available. The "peep toe" had no toes peeping.

I love this shoe and wore it frequently last summer and will again this summer and when it eventually wears out, I'd like to replace it with the same shoe, if it's still available. It's reasonably comfortable for a summer shoe, it's a great neutral tone, has a little style but doesn't leave my feet overly bare (not a good look on me.) I recommend this shoe.

Beautiful shoe, but my feet pronated in these shoes. My arches are very high and I need more support.
