I wanted to love these! I bought the men's version since the women's is too narrow for my calves. While these were wide enough for my 16" circumference calves, the boots were too tapered/narrow up the shaft, so I couldn't pull the boots all the way up my leg. In terms of sizing, I did size down 1 full size to accommodate the switch from women's to men's,and that felt true to size.

I wear a women's 12N, which is unavailable in the Hunter rain boots, so I ordered the men's 11M. I have difficulty getting my feet into the boots, although I do not have high arches, and must enlist my husband's help to remove them. They are a bit too wide for me, as I cannot wear boot socks with them--I'd never get them on! But once on, they are comfortable, and I will keep them since I need a pair of rain boots, and no other manufacturers seem to make a women's 12N either.

I don't know why most men won't wear rain boots. These Hunter willies are awesome and I get more compliments when I wear them than you could imagine. To summarize... Practical and ruggedly stylish, why wouldn't you order a pair right now?! Great Zappos service, as always!

Awesome! I have long narrow feet and these fit well and look great, don’t feel bulky. Great for wet weather when it’s too warm to wear Bogs.

Guys, Buy These Boots! Who wants wet shoes?!?! Great wellies for rain and slop! Great for city or country side! I had to return the first pair because Hunter mis-labeled the left boot. It was one size smaller than the right boot. Mark @ Zappos was awesome! He handled my return with genuine concern! He, and Zappos, are awesome!

I just have a high instep and cannot get my foot in to many boots. unfortunately Hunter, included. so I cannot say if they actually fit as I wasn't able to actually get my foot all the way in side the boot. boo hoo.
