These are amazing! As someone with a narrow foot, being able to lace them tighter all the way down to the tips of my toes was not something I could find in any other shoe. These felt amazing on my feet, super tight the way climbing shoes should be, but very quickly molding to my exact foot with no dead space. There is a reason that this model has been made for 25 years!

I really love them! I use them for indoor bouldering and top roping. I had trouble figuring out my perfect size but once I did, they fit like a glove! I wear a size 8 in street shoes and a size 9.5 in my mythos.

I love the way they feel! Way comfier than other brands. I'm a beginner and I wear a size 9- I bought a size 9/40.5
But I want to change the laces to purple- can you tell me how long these laces are??

Love these so much, didn't take long for the leather to form to my feet, they now feel like they were custom made for my feet.

This is the best trad climbing shoe - every few years, i buy a new pair. Not too tight, not too loose, works excellent for a whole day of multipitch climbs and torqueing your feet into cracks, and still works for finicky face climbing. They stretch a tad, so whatever fits snug but not painful, maybe 1/2 size less... i am also a huge fan of la sportiva viabram rubber, nice and sticky. If your not sure what climbing shoe, but multipitch trad climbing is your thing, this is the shoe!

I'm am happily buying my second pair. I've found for any climb up to 11a slab these shoes have great sticky rubber and an edge that stays.

I have climbed in the normal Mythos Women's for years, and was psyched when I found out that there was a more eco-friendly option. As far as I can tell (I've been wearing them for about 3 months now) they perform just as well as the normal Mythos Women's, and I feel better about putting them on my feet! The only downside to the eco model in my opinion is that the shoelaces don't seem as high quality as the normal Mythos laces for some reason. I will probably just buy some of the standard Mythos replacement laces and swap them once they wear out.

Pretty upset with the durability of the Eco leather. I bought a brand new pair before my trip to Indian Creek to do some crack climbing for a week and the sand stone ate four lace loops and shredded the laces. I get that crack climbing if rough on shoes but I was three days in my trip with a brand new pair.
They are still grate shoes for face climbing and the gym but I can say the same for rugged Trad anymore. The shoes are practically useless till I find a way to fix the lace loops.

The very first day I wore these the laces completely ripped and tore. I only climbed a couple single pitch cracks! I know another girl with these shoes and they are beyond shredded! I don't climb hard enough to have this concern, and neither does my friend whose toes poke out of her shoe (she has only owned them a few months and doesn't climb weekly)! These shoes are not made for crack climbing of any sorts. don't waste your money

I've climbed in these shoes and their predecessors (the purple one and the minty green ones) for decades. They really fit my feet well, and I've been willing to tolerate the la sportiva rubber (not my fav) until it's time for a resole and I can get something stickier. Unfortunately, the rubber on the eco is an order of magnitude worse than the old mythos. Even more unfortunately, when I've had the shoes re-soled they delaminate in the mid foot between the lining and the sole so that the shoe bubbles up uncomfortably in in your forefoot. This has happened with two different pairs at two different resolers (both with excellent reputations), and the resolers say that this is a known problem for them. So as much as I love the fit of these shoes I can't justify tossing them every six months when it is time to resole, especially when the native rubber is so bad.

Quality of the leather and laces(!) on these shoes are far below my other pair of original Mythos.
I'm disappointed :(
I hope they withstand two weeks of training until I find another pair.
