This shoe is in my top 3 shoes to wear in terms of comfort and lightweight. I noticed that a lot of people complain that it's too narrow and I can understand that because I have narrow heels. If you do decide to purchase this shoe, purchase a half size up. I like this shoe so much I own four pairs in different colors.

Bought these in a size 9.5, same size as a pair of Nike SB Portmore II Solar Canvas shoes I also have. I had to go with a 9.5 in the Solar Canvas to get the right width but they are much longer in the toe box. These, on the other hand, have a perfect width and length right out of the gate. There was a small pinch initially on the inside arch but that went away with only a few hours of wearing. They're very comfortable and I can leave them loose enough to slip on and off without tying the laces tight and they'll still stay on my feet.

I've been looking for a good pair of travel shoes for a long time and these might be the best I've found so far. The criteria I'm interested in are: comfortable for walking, breathable (nothing worse than hot feet), not chunky hiking boots, simple style, lightweight, quick-drying, adaptable to different levels of dressiness. I bought these in black/black/anthracite specifically because the "swoosh" logo was less visible than in any other color combination. Why aren't more shoes available without big, ugly logos? Oh, right, capitalism. The soles are thin but not "minimal." I walked around the local zoo for a day to try them out and they stayed comfortable the whole time, although I could definitely feel the ground surface while I walked. The shoe, minus the sole, is made entirely of mesh. I like this because of the breathability but it does make the shoe look a bit funny up close. It also gives dirt a place to attach, although I found these to be easily cleaned with a wet rag. Super lightweight--great for packing. These may be able to do the job of both a "walking around" shoe and a "dress a bit nicer" shoe. If so, that's one fewer pair of shoes I'll need to pack when traveling.

I prefer tight shoes & these fit like a glove with sheer socks. The flexibility is amazing & could be described as a minimalistic shoe with some support + an inch hight rather than none. I wear a 10.5 in Nike athletic shoes; however, prefer a 10 in these...not sure why everyone else is buying a size bigger than usual...they are prob wearing thick socks. If I had the funds, I would purchase every color Zappos had to offer!!!

I'm a size 10 and it was a perfect fit for me. The shoes a REALLY light, which I think is great. Many 'skateboard' shoes are chunky and heavy. Not these! My only complaint, and maybe this is my computer monitor, but I thought they'd be a brighter red. They turned out to be slightly darker with a hint of maroon in the color. I wanted them to match a series of red t-shirts I have that are a fairly bright red (think YouTube logo color). These weren't quite a match. But they still fit good, look good and are comfy.

One of my husband's go to work shoes. They are breathable and comfortable which make them a solid choice for him. I made sure to get him two pairs since he loved his initial set so much!

Nike's almost always fit me where I need to buy a half size up. I bought these a half size up and they fit and feel great. Very lightweight shoes with easy to clean material. They are stylish and can be worn with jeans or chinos, dressed down more casually or dressed up as a stylish option. I love their look, color, feel, and versatility.

Super light.

These are some of my favorite casual shoes from Nike. They're unbelievably light, comfortable and look great with shorts or jeans. This is my third pair and they have all run small, so be sure to order at least a half size up. I normally wear 11 and have to get 11.5. I have a really narrow foot and a half size up is perfect. If you have a wider foot or just like a little more room then a full-size up might be a good move.

Very nice shoe for my 13 yr old son. Laces are a little too short if you use all of the eye holes. 2nd pair in same style.

By far the best shoe I have ever owned. I now have it in 3 colors, just a few more to go and I will have them all!

So I buy Nike SB shoes because they are super comfy, affordable and I like the style. I didn't realize how light these would be as I have the Portmores in canvas as well. These shoes are incredibly comfy and I bought them to walk around in for summer. They are light, breathable and I like the sole of the shoe, reminds me of the Rosches. Anyways, my other Nike SB shoes that have regular soles always start to disconnect from the canvas and the rubber sole separating. These shoes will not do that. I'm considering a second pair because they were on sale and so comfy.

***I HAVE NARROW HEELS*** I have 4 pairs of this shoe in different colors. By far my favorite shoe to walk in and wear to work. They are so light and comfortable, it's ridiculous. Even when new, I don't need a shoe horn to put them on and they're a snap to take off. One fair warning: For whatever reason, this shoe in Thunder Blue / White is quite tight. I had to order a size 10.5 when I'm normally a size 9.5 for ONLY THESE shoes (I tried a size 10 but it was still to tight in the middle of my top foot). The black, white, blue, and grey all fit perfectly.

I normally wear a 14 in Nike's. These were too small for me in length. More narrow than normal also. Love the look though. Too bad they don't make them in 15 :(

Definately not for skating in, but for chillin, walking, working, A+. The sole is one cushy piece that is thick and flexible. Might get slick in the rain though. Mesh makes it amazing

For me this is a great update to the previous model of this shoe! - They are now (at least for me) sized properly. I had to go up half a size with the original Portmore Ultralights because they were just too tight in the mid-shoe area but I ordered my usual Nike size this time and they fit perfectly! I do have slightly narrow feet with high arches so I can't say with certainty that the sizing issue is fixed for those with wider feet. - The re-designed lacing area feels much more comfortable! No more squeezing the middle of your foot or break-in time required. - Aesthetically they look better as well with the larger Nike swoosh that blends into the heel, the re-designed heel itself and with the lacing reinforcement now placed on the inside of the shoe. - The new mesh seems more breathable and a lot less prone to developing creases. The changes they have made to this shoe have them feeling comfortable and broken-in right out of the box. If you're already a fan of the previous model I can't see any reason you won't like these even more.

Shoe was very tight. I would order .5 - 1 size larger.

I liked that they were affordable and good for running in

Really liked the look of these and wished they had fit better. Have owned 50+ pairs of Nike and always buy the same size. This is the first time I've had a pair that didn't fit right. The length was good, but the width was narrower in certain points than expected and the heel felt shallow to the point where my heel would nearly slip out of the shoe when walking. If these fit issues aren't a problem for you, this could be a great, comfortable, lightweight shoe.

Great lightweight sneakers. They look good with both shorts and jeans. Only downside is that they run pretty narrow. I have fairly wide feet. My foot size is actually 10/10.5 but I typically order 11s in most brands which fit me comfortably. I had to order these shoes in 11.5. The 11s were actually making my pinkie toes numb.
