I love my new gardening overalls!! I had a pair years ago and loved them for doing yard work. These are the same classic fit I remember yet the fabric feels much softer and less like canvas. This is a plus though because they feel super comfortable. I am 5'4" 133lbs and the size SM Short fit perfect. I ordered a size Medium Short also because I was unsure on the sizing and they also fit well just a lot more baggy but still cute, the Smalls fit more like the model in the Zappos picture and were roomy enough, but if you like it a little loose you might what to size up.

love them! i was surprised by how soft these are! and the fit is good - i am 5'4" 110 lbs and bought the xsmall in regular length and they are perfect! great pocket that zips for a phone or glasses so they don't fall out when working and lots of other pockets for tools and such.

I am 5 feet, 130 lbs and I bought a medium short. These are very soft and comfortable, and the hooks are neat but don't want too long to go to the bathroom because they aren't always super easy to unhook. Color is a deep rich brown and they are a nice soft stretchy cotton.

I love these. I had been waiting for a while to buy some, and finally bit the bullet. Now I can’t believe I waited so long. I use them mainly for yard work or jobs around the house that might lead to getting dirty. I will also use when I have to be out in colder weather for longer periods and want to wear long Johns underneath, but don’t need snow pants. Fit is great and material has a little stretch to it, making movement comfortable. I used the Carhartt tool to find the correct fit.

I’m 35-33-45-ish and the large fit me, albeit it hugged the hips. It’s stretchy though and quite cozy. Fabric feels thick and durable. I’m 5’3” and the regular is about two inches too long but I’ll just roll ‘em up

These are fantastic. For reference I am just under 5’8” and 118lbs. I ordered the XS and fit tts. If you are taller I’d recommend going up a size as the crotch to shoulder just fits on the lowest strap setting.

fabric is great! zipping bib pocket it great! Fit is great.....But there is something strange about the placement of the side buttons. They are too far apart, so the fabric stands out like side wings at the hips. It doesn't gap, it just looks like my hips have flippers. Even if I'm covered in mud, I don't want to have hip flaps :-)

I'm 5'4" so ordering a short would be too short. These were huge though. Liked the color (dark brown) and feel of the fabric but it's not canvas as I was expecting. Gotta love Zappos though!

Fit was too large. The pant legs were abnormally wide and awkward. Having formerly worked in the garment industry, I know how to take good measurements. I followed the size chart and ordered a size Medium regular which technically should have been tight on my hips, instead it was easily a size too large. Even in the size small, I don't think I could have worked comfortably in this style. The color was also lighter than in the photos. They did seem to be made well and good quality. Disappointed. I love Carhartt normally!

These are so comfortable! The size Small Short actually fit my petite 5 ft., 100 lb. frame, The legs are a couple inches longer than I usually wear but will work with boots or just rolled up. Unexpectedly cozy fabric, not stiff, just enough stretch, and built to last. Not at all a fan of the fiddly fasteners—but carhartt got it right on everything else & I like them enough to keep them. The brown is a great color. Like all my jeans, I don’t put these in the dryer—dried on a rack & they didn’t shrink in cold water wash.

Got these for my daughter, she loves them so much!! she is 5'2 115 pounds and they fit great.

These overalls have a really comfortable feel to them, both the fabric and the way it feels when you move in it. Very well made and with good features (zipper pocket, knee pad space). The medium size is a smallish medium and when you get it you will see that it is marked size 8/10. Concerning to me because my pant size is more like a 12 right now- I could use another inch but I think they look good and give enough space to move or layer on long underwear.

I got these in both Dark Brown & Carhartt Brown. Carhartt Brown is a lovely golden brown, but I prefer the Dark Brown for my work-a-day purposes; it is less eye-catching. I use these for gardening & yard work and find them to be very very comfortable. The 98% cotton canvas is a nice, medium weight canvas that holds up well to wear but is soft enough for comfort. I do not like polyester Sam I Am. The double layer of fabric used for high-wearing areas (e.g. the knees) in these overalls is a very nice, value-added feature. At 5' 8" tall I was afraid that these overalls might be too short for me. A too-high crotch seam is an uncomfortable thing! But with the straps loosened to their full length, I have plenty of room through the torso. And, as someone whose height is disproportionately in my legs, I was especially pleased that these overalls are plenty long for my legs, even after a couple of washes. They just cover my ankle bones and so are perfect for wearing with work boots. I highly recommend these overalls. In fact I'm writing this review, because I came back for another pair of these in the Dark Brown. (I got bright blue PVC cement on my first pair while putting in irrigation lines. Curses.) Alas, Dark Brown is not currently available. I will return later in hopes of getting another pair;)

Super cute overalls! I wasn’t sure what size to get. I am 5’5” and currently weigh 165. I am working on losing weight so tried the mediums. They fit! They are a bit snug so will still fit when I lose 15 more lbs.

Love the color, a deep rich brown. However, Carhartt sure cut corners when they made the front packet inside fabric bright white -- it shows at the slightest bend. What I really don't like are the new fangled bib fasteners. Try as I might, it takes two hands to operate the thing, fastening and unfastening, and only then with concentration. Plus they make jiggly noise all the time. I like the idea of them, but they do not come off the closet shelf at all.
