These are the Best hiking boots I've experienced! I am an avid hiker, working on my Catskill 3500's. I have large feet with high arches and tending towards wide. I was hesitant to order these because they looked so sneaker-like, I feared they would not provide the support I need in long hikes. I was very pleased to find they fit my feet perfectly and were technically superior to other hiking boots I've worn. So comfortable and oerfectly supportive from the moment I put them on, I didn't want to take them off! I broke them in on a 5 mile hike and just wore them on a 10 mile hike and my feet were very happy, no issues, superior lightweight comfort, support and traction, breatabilty and the goretex kept my feet dry. Really, they didn't require any breaking in. Wow! Love these!!!

Got these for driving my motorcycle in. They do run pretty large, I had to size down to a 7.5 and I am always an 8, but now they *just* fit. They are super padded and comfortable and just cover the ankle. I wear thin socks. I would stick with your normal size if you want to wear thick hiking socks, but the overall shoe is ENORMOUS in the 8 compared to the 7.5.. I say give them a shot :) Comfortable, seem very durable and look great on.

I bought a second pair right away because these are Great Lightweight trail shoes. After my couple hours on the trail I wore them around town too. Very comfortable. If I was more of a hiker I would need something more substantial.
