I have had some knee pain and recently learned that I was over-pronating and wanted something stable with greater arch support to wear as a "house shoe" instead of my usual cheap slides. Inititally, I didn't think these were going to work- they felt odd, pressure in weird places, it was awkward to walk and I thought I might trip. But now I've acclimated, they feel great, no pain and I think I'm walking straighter. I wear them everyday. If you try them and it doesn't feel right, be patient and give them some time.

I ordered this because the women’s size in the same style was too narrow. These are actually a little wide for me, but have such great arch support I’ve decided to keep them and wear them with socks as house slippers in the winter.

I haven't worn these too much as the weather in New England has not cooperated this spring. I wanted them mostly for wearing when watering plants or a quick trip to the mailbox. The women's 10 was too tight in the width category, size was fine. So, I returned them and ordered a men's 9 and it's perfect.l Just a tad wider makes it so much more comfortable.

These are wonderful. What drew me to these slides is that Aetrex intentionally created them with the arch "a bit further back," which "is proven to help relieve heel/arch pain & plantar fasciitis," as their description states. I have fairly high arches, but most men's shoes or sandals with high arches are more forward, and thus do not give me the support where I need it. These have VERY GOOD support for extra high arches, and are perfect for my arches. Another important factor is that having the arch support in the right place also keeps my feet from pronating. Regarding width, I'm a 60 year old woman with pretty large bunions, which make my feet wider than the average man's foot, and most men's average D shoes are not quite wide enough. Although these are listed as a medium D, they seem to be somewhere between E and 3E in width, because not only are they wide enough, they are almost too wide (which surprised me). However, they do not slide off my feet, and the rubber uppers are a nice, soft rubber that does not rub or irritate my feet. I wear about a women's 8 in sandals, and the men's 7 fits perfectly. I like that they are molded as one piece, and the uppers are not glued to the bottoms; I'm hoping this will give them some longevity. I might order the same sandal in women's to see if their width would be better for me, since these tend to run extra wide. As one reviewer mentioned, they don't have the raised toe bar that the Birkenstocks have, but for the price, and also because they are waterproof, these are a great alternative. For a comparison, I tried the EVA Birkenstocks Barbados Essentials slide, and while they offer okay arch support, it's not nearly what this Aetrex Lynco Slide offers, and definitely not enough to prevent pronation like the other Birks do. Also, the Barbados upper is not wide enough for my feet, and they do not offer 2 width choices in that style. Don't get me wrong, I love the Birkenstock Arizona slides with a soft footbed. Their support is excellent and very healing for problem feet. Whether I choose the men's or women's Aetrex Lynco Slide, I may have just found my new favorite brand.

LOVE this shoe. Great firm support with just the perfect amount of cushion. I am womens 9 and went with the mens for the navy color. Don't know if there is a difference in fit.

Great for indoor use. Great arch support.

My husband and i use these as house shoes and they are so comfy.

They were well fitted, great arch support, and feel good for my plantar fasciitis.

Felt like Birkenstocks, but made of nice spongy (but not too soft) material. Fit good except for width (too narrow)

My husband is an athlete with wide feet. He tried various slides and kept these to use any time he might get wet. Why? "They're wide enough, without visible logos, colors or other nonsense, and have excellent molded arch support."

I have plantar fasciitis which causes me a lot of pain if my footwear does not have strong very arch support. These sandals give me that support perfectly. You will not be sorry if you do need this kind of support and purchase these sandals. They’re comfortable and supportive.

Great slide with terrific arch support but the men’s 7 is too large for my size 8 women’s feet. Too bad they don’t make them any smaller

I ordered this shoe in a mens size 7 M(D). It was comparable to womens size 8 wide which I normally wear. The arch support was fantastic, but I missed my toe "uplift" and deep heel cups that are in all of my birkenstocks. I had wanted to give another shoe brand a try, but birkenstock is the best-at least for my finicky feet! Even after a few hours of wearing in the house, the uppers got tight & kinda sticky. Sorry, had to send these back.

Ordinarily wear women's size 12 (impossible to find locally - God bless Zappos!), but often need to buy men's size 10 in order to get adequate toe room. These slides fit well in terms of length and arch support placement; the overall width was a bit wide for me. The real problem area was the excessive length of the instep strap, which was likely designed for a man's heftier foot. There was literally a 1" gap between this strap and the top of my instep - thus, there was nothing to hold it in place on my foot and I simply walked right out of it. Good cush.

Arch support to high and not positioned quite right for me. Otherwise I like these slides.

I love that the're foam but they're way too big and my foot just slipped right out of it. Returning them. I'm just waiting for the return label to come in the mail. I wish Zappos would include an invoice and return label with the item package

I ordered these for the waterproof foam which is great. However they were huge for the size. Had to return .

Looks and feels like a great slider, but I CAUTION buyers to be sure of of size. 13M was like no 13M I have ever had on -- too small. Sent them back
