LOVE THESE!! I ordered these and the Yara because I wanted a pair with the ankle straps, after long consideration I chose these (I really wanted to keep both!) because these fit my foot perfect straight out of the box. The yaras are great too, but I would have needed to break them in a little bit. Fourth pair of Birks!

These are cute and comfortable! I ordered a size down but I have long toes and a wider toe spread and so some of my toes were touching the rim, so I ordered my normal size 38 (size 7 to 7.5) and they were perfect! Enough room for my toes! I think these run true to size unless you have short toes. More feminine than other birks. Can't wait to wear these all summer long!

I first ordered the 38, which is what my current Birkenstock’s are, I’m usually a size 8.5 shoe. They were too narrow and my toes almost went over the end. I then returned them for a 39 which fits perfect! I didn’t have to wear them in like my other pair of Birkenstock’s which was really nice. Supper cute and versatile shoe, not your typical “Jesus Sandal” that you’d expect from Birkenstock. However I’m so sad to say that after 2 months of wearing them I found a crack in the cork in the inner strap section. I’m going to try to glue it, but I would have hoped they would have held up better than the pair I’ve had for now 5 years.

I love these! My husband ordered them for me. I’m usually a 7 1/2 but based on reviews from multiple sites, I sized down (I’m normally a 38 in Birks but got these in a 37 and they’re perfect). They are narrow though (my only choice here was N) so if you have wide feet, they may not work for you. My ankles are small so I have the left shoe on the tightest ankle strap hole, the right shoe on the 3rd hole (weird, guess my ankles are different or the shoe is??). The one ankle strap kind of sticks out but maybe that will lay down more in time. They’re adorable, sooo comfortable and I love them. I bought them to walk around Disney in July (my first time ever going)!

This was my first pair of Birkenstock! I was hesitant and reluctant to spend so much money a sandals...esp on ones I've never tried. Anyways, I'm glad I did because, after a break in period, these are my favorite. I even have tan lines to show for! The break in period was slightly uncomfortable due to the stiffness and weird foot support. Also, I had to learn how to walk in them without fearing that i'll ripe the thin straps off. These are very sturdy and comfortable shoes. I work with preschoolers, and I can walk and stand in them all day. Beyond that, my feet would be crying. I'm size 7 and ordered the 38.

Maybe I have skinny feet but the toe band doesn't seem to get tight enough. I love everything else about this sandal, ankle strap is comfy.

It’s been forever since I owned Birks. These are a cute style (though a little Jesus-y) still very cute. To break them in (as in usually required with Birks) I wore them around the house all day. Of course, during the stay home/stay healthy covid, I’m not really going out much, if at all. Waiting to wear these out once all is lifted.

These were super cute and fit well, but I didn't think they would offer enough support for long days of walking in Europe - I ended up returning these in favor the the Lola style, which worked out great. For reference, I am a 6 to 6-1/2, and I ordered the 36 narrow.

I have plantar faciitis in my right foot from running and boot camp and decided it was time to start investing in better footwear in terms of arch support. I already had a pair of Birkenstock Kairos in size 40 that I bought in Hungary, but don't love them... no matter how tightly I cinch the ankle, my feet flop around and slide from side to side inside the shoe. I generally prefer t-strap sandals because I tend to experience some rubbing pain at all the touch points on my sandals, especially at the sides of my toes. Living in Florida, I have a lot of sandals, and usually purchase them in size 8.5 because I like my toes at the front edge so I don't clip them and trip on uneven sidewalk. The challenge is my left foot is half a size bigger than my right, which you can see in my photo (sorry, overdue for a pedi). I followed review recommendations and bought my black Daloas in size 39 (8-8.5). As you can see in the photo, my smaller right foot looks about right, but the left is pushing it... my toes sometimes hit the front lifted edge, but it's nothing that bothers me. These are so much more comfortable than the Kairos to me. My foot feels really secure to the shoe and the narrower width cradles my foot so much better (for reference I have a medium width foot, not narrow and not wide, and these feel great to me). THESE ARE NOT LEATHER, but the material seems durable and is non-abrasive. I'm not sensing any rubbing at the sides of my toes. I will say I had to cinch the ankle straps to the tightest hole which left long unattractive "ears" at each side, so I trimmed them down with some sharp scissors (photo is after trimming). Overall, very happy with this purchase. If they came in a dark brown oiled leather, I would probably purchase a second pair since I'm not crazy about the Mocha color... may go with the Yara on the next round for this reason, just hope the wrap-around toe doesn't bother me.

Dainty, feminine....and down right adorable!

Very comfortable. My feet badly need some arch support or I won’t be able to walk all day long. With these sandals I can enjoy a day out without suffering. Plus they’re very good quality too.

I ordered a full size smaller than I typically wear and they fit perfectly. Very comfortable arch support for plantar fasciitis.

Probably the most feminine shoe Birk has ever made due to the slim straps. I'm through buying anything without a heel or ankle strap as I tend to compensate to keep the shoe on my foot, no matter how comfortable they might seem at first. This ankle strap is extremely comfortable. I have a slightly wide foot and a very high instep, and these straps fit me perfectly. I also really like not having anything between my toes. The narrow width only serves to make the shoe a bit less bulky. It's not actually narrow since it fits my wider foot quite nicely. Highly recommend.

Wore these on a recent trip to Italy where I walked 6-7 miles a day. Super comfortable!

These sandals are SO CUTE!!! I walked all over Europe in them in a recent two-week trip, and they held up to cobblestones and kept my feet comfortable and happy. I wish the straps were leather, but that's just a personal preference.

I currently own four pair of Birkenstocks- Gizeh, Mayari, Madrid, and now Daloa. And they are my new favorite! They have a slim footbed which fits my slim foot perfectly and I love the petite straps. I didn't think I would like black, but I love it. They are super cute and I get lots of compliments! I am a true size 7 and always order size 37 in Birkenstocks. They always fit perfectly. 38 is too big. So if you've never ordered Birkenstocks, size down.

I absolutely love these! I've been looking for a black sandal that is comfortable enough to walk all day in but still looks cute, preferably with an ankle strap because I'm always losing slip-ons. These check all the boxes. They were actually comfy right out of the box (my old Arizonas never really got comfortable), I love the thiner straps and the ankle strap. I was nervous because these are called "narrow" and my foot is normal to wide-ish but they fit fine. Liked them so much I went and bought the Yara since Zappos doesn't have these in brown.

Classic Birkenstock fit and comfort with a super cute, almost sexy style. I love how these look with ankle jeans or a dress. I do wish the toe strap were a bit wider to better accomodate/cover my bunions, and Birkenstock needs to add more holes to the ankle strap for those of us with skinny legs.

My favorite birks! I love that they are more feminine looking and not bulky like most birks.

This is my first pair of Birkenstock and so far, great shoes! I have high arches, so I'm always searching for a shoe that is comfortable but also stylish. This shoe definitely hits the mark. Also, it's a surprisingly lightweight shoe and the strap buckles do not rub the foot or cause any discomfort at all. One thing to note, these definitely have to be broken-in before extensive wear, much like any quality shoe.

I haven’t met a pair of Birkenstocks that I didn’t love. Great sandal, comfy, cute and will mold to your foot after a couple of wears. 10/10

Sooo cute, in love with the straps! They’re true to size and have very good arch support.

I wore these walking throughout Spain and they did not disappoint. It took like 2 earrings before they broke in, but after that they were great. They are also versatile enough to wear in the evenings.
