Fit perfectly...extra room in toe box...made in ITALY NOT CHINA...i have three different styles of ZAMBERLAN shoes/boots all quality products

I use the Trail Lite Evo as an everyday hiking boot (i.e. non-load bearing, on trail hiking). As with all Zamberlan boots the fit is amazing, like it was made for my foot. Even though the boot doesn't look it, they are pretty anatomical and slim in design. The leather feels supple, but has held up well for 3 years now of continued use. I do regularly condition the leather, like you have to with any leather boot (I use the Zamberlan leather spray). What I like most about the boot is the combination of lightweight design and excellent support. I didn't expect these boots to be as supportive as they have been. I also like the classic looks to the boot and have gotten away with wearing them as my exclusive shoe on hiking trips (i.e. I don't take any other shoes with me) because I can wear them driving, flying, or wherever as well as on the trail. I ditched my Solomons when I got these boots as the comfort is much better and the durability has been better as well.

lightweight, comfortable and well made boot. Replaced in the insole with Superfeet and they are perfect. I have 10.5 size and they are a quarter inch longer than other 10.5 shoes I have, but it is not a problem

The boot was all I had hoped it to be. They are light weight and comfortable straight out of the box. My feet love me again.

This is my fourth pair! I’ll continue to wear these boots for the foreseeable future.

they fit like a glove,no breaking in nesessary

By far the best hikers i have purchased. Looked small compared to my Salomon hikers, but they are much beefier. The Zamberlans fit like a fine leather glove, no discomfort at all. I am going to save these to wear with jeans out and about town, like them too much too scuff up hiking... I’ll leave the for the Salomon hikers. Received order in a couple of days, as always Zappo’s was excellent service again ?

I put off buying new boots for far too long. I wore my previous pair until the soles started to fall off (were re-glued and then fell off!). This is to indicate that I was fearful about having to break in new boots. I put these on and was amazed at how excellent the fit was. Just enough room in the toe box, great support at the arch, and sung at the ankle without rubbing. Perfect all-around daily hikers that can be properly re-soled, so you’ll be enjoying these for a long, long time. An investment in the consistent comfort of your feet.

This is a very old school leather hiking boot still made in Italy, which is what I wanted. It fits well, has a nice Vibram rocker style sole, and will be fine on medium-length hikes (not enough ankle support for a long day with a heavy pack but that's not what it's for). It also looks great with jeans and a sweater. I've only had them a few days so I can't report on any real hikes but the comfort is good so far and these appear to be well made boots.

These are my go-to light-weight hiking boots for longer treks where combating leg weariness should not undermine support while carrying a fully-loaded backpack. I wear heavier boots in more unforgiving terrain, but this pair still has the >>essential<< Vibram soles for traction in all terrain conditions, appropriate water proofing, and good durability. The boots are lighter than they may appear in the photos -- good idea to compare actual weight before purchasing.

These boots fit and feel terrific right out of the box. The style is on point too. Nice simple classic look. This is my second pair of Zamberlan boots, and won’t be the last. The price Point is a bit high, but deservedly so, they produce a quality product.

Excellent comfort as everyone says. May run a bit small — I ordered a 43 and returned it for a 44, which was spot on, as if custom made. Comfortable in all contexts, well made. Left the bottom row unlaced to get a little more toe room. More than satisfied!

Spot on. No breakin

These shoes are awesome. Very good materials - I usually avoid "nubuck" leather because it looks dingy - but the leather on these shoes is very special. Comfortable and they look nice.

These fit me perfectly and are good for 3-5 hour hikes in many types of terrain. The ankle is supported and its pretty hard to roll even with rapid descents (though I'm carrying under 10 pounds of gear). The top is a bit lower than many hiking boots which makes it easier to go up and down very steep hills due to the reduced achilles pressure. A trade off here is that you need low gaiters if there is a lot of gravel that gets into the boot..but this isn't really a problem in my experience. The really cool selling factor here is that there is plastic structure within the sole that feels like its helping you to move forward. If you are standing still its not obvious nor is balance affected. However once underway each step is slightly easier to initiate than with any other brand I've used. This makes a difference after the first hour or so. This structure needs about 40 miles to break in and may feel a bit rigid at first. The waterproofing works well and the laces are very nice and stay tied. There are no protrusions on the medial parts of the ankle area which means a lot less tripping than other more complicated lacing systems. I wish the company still made this model in non GTX for hot weather use.

Excellent fit and finish. Waterproofness verified as I forded numerous Shenandoah streams and rivers. Weight was acceptable. I also like the removable insole (I am a Superfeet fan). I would purchase these boots again (or other model from Zamberlan).

Made in Italy, which is my first priority. I own Fabiano, LaSportiva, Scarpa, and Zamberlan. The Italian bootmakers are the best in the world in my opinion. Fantastic construction and fit. No slip anywhere, and break in is minimal. The uppers and soles are high quality. I don't find myself slipping on wet pave, and my feet don't get too hot. The laces are too long, and lace options very limited. Removing that little brass Gore Tex badge was a great idea. The new sewn in tag next to that sewn in flag of Italy is a much better option. What can I say but molto buona!

Very well made and durable boots but I think the Yeren GTX RR was better.

They look good, but run small in volume and size.

Can’t tell you how they fit, Zappos gave me northside boots in a zamberlan box. Had to send back, nothing like what I ordered.
