I spend most of my day away from home and needed a backpack that could carry all my things: my workout clothes (including shoes), lunch and snacks for the day, a book, my iPad and keyboard, and a water bottle. Everything fits comfortably in the backpack, and the strap and back support makes the load feel much lighter than it is.
The backpack holds it's shape even when there's nothing inside, and the material is incredibly durable. The attached rain cover is really handy and practical.
Only complaint is that the side pockets are quite stiff, and if you have a large water bottle it can sometimes be a struggle to fit it in the side pocket if the main compartment is completely stuffed. Other than that I absolutely love the backpack.

This backpack is amazing. It withstands the freezing Boston winter with ease; and, the quality is immeasurably good. I use it for both school and plan to use it heading into my office when I'm working during the summer. It holds a 15" laptop, all the books I need, and double the water you could ever want. For work, I know it'll hold my laptop with a lunch bag. I cannot express how much I recommend this bag if you're looking for something lightweight, slick looking, and practical for daily use.

I took this with me to Iceland. It was my carry-on/personal item. Held 2 cameras, laptop, hard drive and all the chargers, cables, and related mess. And in-flight essentials. Used it on hikes and the rain cover made it storm-proof!
The way the top closes was a bit tedious at times. But the stylish and compact looks make up for it!
Bag is not super light, but it's strong and a comfortable fit.

This was a gift from my wife and I love it! Great materials, easy to keep clean. The grey/green is perfect color to go with everything and it's not black. Fits my laptop, but slim design. Love the magnetic clasps on the top and sternum straps.

Used for school commented for a High Schooler. Different Pockets are helpful. Can be a little too narrow to fit all binders in. Easy to open all pockets

I use this bag for carrying my lunch, books to commute to work. I got the flame color and I like how bright and visible it is. This backpack can fit a lot. Sometimes I will buy a few things on my way home and they all fit in my bag. It was little hard to use magnetic flap to close the bag at first, I got better at using it after a couple of days.

This bag is quite nice. It is stylish and functional. It is a very high quality bag and you can tell that the craftsmanship is top notch. I am using it as an everyday bag to take to work with my computer and everyday essentials and everything fits great and it is super light weight. It's sleek and sexy. I wouldn't recommend this as a camping bag but as an everyday bag it has enough pockets to fit my things and doesn't feel to large or bulky. Overall this is a great bag and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sleek looking everyday high-end backpack.

I loved this robin pack, compared to other packs I've used this one is by far my favorite. It has plenty of pockets and is really deep. The pack is very lightweight and will hold just about anything. Great for a work bag or even a workout and on the go bag. I have small children so this is perfect for being constantly on the go. I recommend any mom or wife to get this. Your kids and husband will thank you. So will your nerves.

We are a large bicycling family and this has been a great addition to our everyday use. It is so lightweight, but carries A LOT! And the many pockets make it easy to keep everything organized. I love the fabric and durability!

Living in the city, I've become dependent on bags. I was always a messenger bag guy until I recently switched to backpacks, and now I've had the chance to use the the Robin Pack by Timbuk2.
The first thing I noticed about the pack is how stylish it is. Unlike many backpacks that I found to be wide and bulky, this pack was longer, more narrow, and downright sleek. It's definitely not the backpack you took to school as a kid, and that's a good thing. The straps adjusted easily, allowing the pack to sit comfortably on my shoulders. And speaking of comfort, the back had cushioned panels that allowed it to rest gently on my back, making it feel even lighter. The pack also had adjustable sternum and waist straps for when you're carrying heavier loads; not being a fan of these type of straps in general, I was glad to see that they could be removed.
I mainly used the pack to hold things while I went to and from work. It certainly does its job of storing things, with several pockets on the front, as well as an inside pocket for transporting a laptop. The main compartment is held closed with a special magnetic hold, as opposed to the typical zipper. Although this took a bit to get used to, I ended up liking that a lot-it made it more unique, and really enhanced its sleek and urban appeal.
Although I really love this pack, there are a few things that make it just shy of perfect. While there are two different front pockets on the pack, both are fairly small. They work well for a phone, keys, or other small objects. Anything else has to be put in the main compartment. And while the main compartment was plenty spacious, there was only one divider inside (to hold a laptop)-this meant everything just got mixed together. I personally would have liked another divider inside. These were both minor issues, and not enough to make me not enjoy the bag.
In short, I really liked the bag overall, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others, or buy myself another in the future.

Hi,
Firstly I would like to mention here is Timbuk the good and highest quality bags. Its not only looks good but feel extremely comfortable because of its padded shoulder straps and It has many pockets and good space to carry your notebook and other stuff.Front pockets gives you easiness to keep your keys in keychain attached in middle pocket most important that it has magnetized flap pocket,Top flap is very easy to unlock and lock as it also have magnetized lock.I would definitely recommend this to everyone who use a backpack everyday and it have a weatherproof roll top so No matter what weather it is your stuff is always safe in this Robin pack. This bag is worth to buy even at this price as its quality and bag will sure last for years and most importantly it save your stuff at all cost.

I have a one year old daughter and have been lugging a bulky diaper bag around everywhere I go since she was born. The Robin Pack is a great alternative! It has plenty of pockets and storage space for all the required baby items. The fabric is easy to clean if there are any spills. It is a comfortable/stylish backpack that frees up my hands and fits comfortably for this mom on the go. It is also great for hikes, traveling, and since I live in Orlando, days at the theme park. The best part is that since it's so versatile, I will be able to use it long after I'm done with a diaper bag! Love this item, and wish I'd found it a year ago!

This is an amazing bag. It is very comfortable and larger inside than I thought it would be. It keeps my laptop safe while walking to work and it water proof. I live in Seattle so this is a big deal, as it rains all the time. If you are looking for a good bag for any reason, BUY THIS BAG. You wont regret it.

I'm a dude. This backpack is hot. So comfortable and stylish. You wanna be cool? Then buy this backpack. I have the black. Only cons are the side beverage pockets are not wide/stretchy enough so the largest beverage you can jam in there is probably something a little larger than a 20oz bottle. Super tight.

This bag is sleek and comfy at the same time which is the greatest and usually hardest to achieve of possible combinations. Everything you might need is quickly accessible through the magical wizardry of magnetic clasps and closures at the front. The straps are sturdy and the inside feels sturdy and well-protected as well, with a surprisingly high capacity for its size. The only way to improve this bag would be to maybe add rocket boosters. Also making the side pockets a little bit stretchier would be good too.

This is pack is a high-quality well-made backpack with some innovative features. It's not too big or too small on the back and has a slim profile while being worn. Materials are durable and abrasion resistant. Although it's made for commuting on a bike, this pack is good in a variety of situations. The magnetic enclosure on the flap is particularly a nice feature. The pack is slim on the back as well which is a feature I really prefer when riding/walking. Overall, this pack is good for the price. I own quite a few packs (100+), and I would put this pack in the top 10% of bags I own. I really wish this pack came in waxed canvas as I prefer natural fiber to synthetic coated nylon materials but the bag is very durable and stylish. I often get asked about this bag and its look. It will last years and the stitching is high-quality.
My main complaints would be the velcro enclosure for the laptop compartment inside the pack is annoying to pull apart time after time again. The velcro is large and strong so although the laptop will stay in place, it's annoying to constantly pull it apart to get to your laptop multiple times a day. Also, one side of the velcro can scratch items as you put them in this pack if not careful and pulling the velcro in a quiet room is quite loud. The side pockets are very slim so there is a limit on what you can put in there (smartphone/keys are cool but a water bottle can be difficult).
If Timbuk2 allowed half-stars I would give this pack a 4.5/5.

This is a great backpack for commuting. Sleek look, thoughtful design and top quality materials. There are just a couple of things that keep this bag from being perfect. 1) Side pockets fr beverages are way too small. Ideally they would be made of a mesh for expansion, but unfortunately they are a rigid material with very little stretch. The result is that bigger bottles won't fit and normal bottles are pushed inward, leaving less space in the main compartment. 2) sunglasses band on the straps is way too high. Maybe for a small person it works, but the band ends up being on or behind my shoulder, making it less useful. Besides those things, I love this bag.

Great bag, perfect size for daily commute. I like the flap on the top, but it's often hard to align the magnets even after using it daily for a couple of weeks.
