This was a recent purchase because it was time to retire my last Timbuk2 sling bag that lasted me almost 20 years! These bags are still amazing and even with a few changes are still the best. I have the classic bags and the flight messenger bags and just love them.

I purchased as a gift for my father-in-law to use as a carry-on. I own an older version of this bag. The new version includes all the options I would wish for in my bag. Some examples are the handle, internal water bottle holder & better external pockets. I added a handle to my bag. If I loose my bag or it finally fails, I'll order this bag. Also the shoulder strap adjuster is way more convenient that the older version.

Overall, good. A bit smaller than I expected it to be (size M) and not as good as the first versions of the same bag.

I've been a Chrome messenger bag user for over 20 years. My trusty old bag needed some TLC. Chrome no longer repairs their bags. I found the customer service less than helpful. No longer do they make bags for left handed customers. I was basically told to get a new right hand bag or find someone to repair my bag. So I did get a new bag. I went with Timbuk2! This company does repair the products they offer. They make a useful and well thought out product. You can convert it to right or left hand carry. The build quality is top notch. Much more efficient use of space than a traditional Chrome messenger bag. I highly recommend checking out Timbuk2.

Really amazing bag for trips around the city that require me to go in and out of the bag often. The quick adjust strap buckle is my favorite part of this bag; it allows me to switch quickly from riding my bike with the bag high and secure to flipping the bag to my front to grab what I need quickly. There are only two things I would change about this bag: I would like a dedicated spot on the outside of the bag for a u-lock; even just some molle webbing. I would also l like if the laptop compartment zipped close.

got this for my partner to use as his personal bag for our international flight coming up this fall! the quality is great and he is very excited to put it to use. i appreciate the thick padded shoulder strap and the colors are very nice!

This is the second XS messenger bag that I have purchased for my boys (we also purchased the small messenger bag). It's the perfect size for taking everything they need for the day. It's such good quality that my older son is using his going on six years. Great product!

Bought this bag for my son. It fits his Chromebook, folders, and things he needs for high school. It is not quite big enough for some of his larger binders. It has a ton of pockets. Love the adjustable straps. Will probably buy one for myself. Appears like it will last for a long time.

I am using it mostly when I'm out and about and have to carry my iPad 10th Gen., which fits perfectly in there. I have already the small and an XL messenger bag. And just like the others this one is great. I really appreciate the improvements for this size as well as the shoulder pad. The gunmetal color goes with everything. So happy with the purchase

First and foremost, ONLY TIMBUK2 EVER! Best products from quality, reliability, price. TIMBUK2 stands behind their products like no other. I bought the smallest size. I use it when I take the dogs for a hike or to the park. I pack all the things I need for me; phone and keys, and all their items. It's ok if it gets icky inside, easily cleaned.

So I bought this bag for my daughter to use for school. She loves it. I think the strap could be a little shorter but according to her it is perfect. This is the 5th bag I've bought from timbuk2. Can't say a bad thing about any of them.

I use this a as a daily carrier to and from work. It's built extremely well and will last years. The only issue I have is the shoulder strap keeps moving in length. I can adjust fairly easy, but wish it would stay in place once set.

I was looking for something smaller than the standard size briefcases I already have. Fits my 13" Dell laptop with room to spare. Took on a trip to Europe to carry a water bottle, coloring book and other items needed during the day and to easily grab on the train. Fit four lightweight rain jackets in a pinch but was pretty packed on those days.

I love it! I'm a teacher and use it as my school bag. Not only is it attractive, but there is plenty of room for my laptop and other necessities, including a large water bottle (that fits sideways). I chose the small size and am impressed with the capacity.

Great bag, I purchased the XS in black and it's the perfect edc bag for me. Good size for all my essentials and also enough room to carry a water bottle and small camera when needed. The material feels great, durable and isn't cheap and flimsy. The bag is compact and stylish and comfortable. I put it on and instantly feels right. Great bag that I would definitely recommend to others.

I've been using my TimBuck2 messenger bag for over 15 years and I'm still extremely happy with this product! I'm having it reconditioned as we speak and I'm looking forward to seeing what it looks like reconditioned!

I have been looking for a perfect bag for a long time. I wear glasses and need things that are too bulky for my pockets. I opened the boxed with skepticism, and I have been pleasantly surprise and happy with the XS Messaeger bag

The bag is great and somehow better balanced when held by the handle on the back. The previous version >10 year old did not have such balance or the foam surrounding it. Yet I find the long think pad around the should strap ia bit too intrusive and have decided to remove it without any detrimental effect

Love the custom option and the size I was able to purchase the Halloween XS limited bag and loved it. I decided to go a bit larger and was very happy with the customization options. The only thing I would like to see is the addition of a back pocket. I will purchase again!!
