I ordered two different pairs of J Renee shoes as options to wear to my son's wedding. I ended up choosing the Jenvey over the Faleece Shoes. I have wide feet and injured my foot and ankle in a slip and fall on ice several years ago. That injury not makes it impossible for me to wear the many beautiful high heels in my closet. So I was looking for a low heel in a wide width special occasion dress shoes. The Jenvey had the right heel and width and looked beautiful. I got several compliments on how pretty they were (pewter) with my plum beaded dress. The pewter was perfect. It has a silver shine without being too starkly, bright silver and was sort of a darker gray metallic. The only issue I had with these shoes is that as the night went on they became painful. I normally wear a 71/2 or and will sometimes order 8 in shoes I think I might need more room. I ordered these in an 8 and should've had a ton of room but didn't. Places where my toes as well as the tops of the shoes met my feet hurt a lot. I think it was because the material the shoes are made of is man made fabric. It is very stiff and does not give. So where it meets your skin it "bites". The shoes were not tight and I ended up putting strips of mole skin from that someone got from Walgreens on those areas approximately two hours into the night. If I would've done that prior to putting the shoes on to protect my skin I probably would've been able to wear them all night. Sadly after four hours they had to come off. I'd recommend ordering a size up and spending a bit of time in them prior to your event to find out if you need to pad any areas of your skin.

These are not good for standing or walking. They look like they would be comfortable, but they ARE NOT! No dancing in these!

Such a pretty shoe!! But even with the double Wide the front of the shoe still squished my little toe and was uncomfortable in general. Maybe for others it will be fine, I've got really tough feet to fit....they're so cute, it's a perfect classy look with a small heel.

I got these shoes to wear with a floor length bridesmaid dress. The heels are high enough so I won't trip over the dress, but not so high I have to worry about heel wobble. They were comfy from the first time I tried them on. I can dress them up by adding clip on bling, or leave plain, so they are versatile. These were a good choice for me.

I really like these. However, they are a bit narrow up front. They are not totally 1/2 size smaller, but could be a bit roomier to be true to size. Heel is oerfect and comfortable.

Loved the look of this shoe but unfortunately they were just a tad narrow in thetoe box and on my (yuck) bunion. Had to return.

Attractive shoe, but runs small and is stiff

I ordered these at the last minute because I needed a comfortable silver shoe for a wedding. I got the 8W and put these on and they were immediately a perfect fit. I wore them the day of the wedding and stood in them all day without any problems. Can't beat J.Renee or Zappos!

Loved the look, unfortunately the toe opening cut into the side of my big toe. Not possible to wear these for more than a few minutes to try them on.

Ok, these are really smart looking shoes with a great heel height if you don't want a high heel. But, they are THE most uncomfortable shoe I've ever put on. Thus returning. Also I think others recommended a half size up, which I would not recommend. I have really hard feet to fit due to dislocated toes and bunions so these might work for others with more normal feet!

I have oddball feet and shoe shopping is hard, especially formal shoes as mother of the bride. I'd already had to return a pair from elsewhere, so I held my breath with this order. They arrived within a few days, I tried them on and the only adjustment was the strap tightness, which then made them perfect!

This is the perfect shoe for a wedding or cocktail party. It’s simple and the heel is low. The shoes are great partners to the little black dress.

I ordered a extra wide width and it doesn’t feel that way. I really am not sure if shoe makers know what extra wide is. Zappos was the only I found to carry extra wide, and I was excited. Need for a wedding. Well now too late to buy another pair and these will do, but my foot doesn’t feel right on shoe. It is a darling shoe and seems well made, but not true to width. So I give it only 3 stars overall. If I had a smaller and more slimmer foot I would love it, but this is what I have and it’s hard to find a good real wide width shoe. What might of helped if I had gotten the closed toe model.

These shoes are perfect for me! So comfy and stylish! I bought these for my daughter's wedding wanting to be comfortable for a very long day. I just can't wear high heels any more and these shoes were great. I occasionally felt the band around the toe but it was nothing bad at all that made me uncomfortable. I had tried my normal size of 8 1/2 wide and it did take the 9 wide shoe to work for me. Yay for Zappos' free returns!!

Very cute shoe! A nice low kitten heel - that looks dressy without killing you with height! BUT the Pewter is actually a sparkling silver. I bought these because I wanted a grey shoe for summer for work. These is NOT a work shoe - way toooooo much BLING! But would be great to wear to a wedding or other special event.

These are very pretty special occasion shoes. However, I will be returning them. The stiffness of the material from which they are made does not allow any "give" and feels harsh on the skin. I wear a 9 wide because of bunions, like a lot of women I know. and they are very uncomfortable on the bunions. I could not imagine wearing them for more than a few minutes.

Nice shoe. However, packaging was horrible. No box. Shoes wrapped in tissue in a plastic bag in a padded Amazon shipping envelope. Shame, shame. This is not the service I have loved about Zappo’s.

Love this shoe! It's classy and attractive and is perfect with the dress I am wearing for a wedding. I wear size 10M and at first it didn't feel great with my bunion but I lengthened the strap and then they were comfortable. Happy I found these!

Absolutely beautiful shoes Great price great service. Unfortunately I couldn't adjust them at the straps because the beads prevent the length adjustment so I have to go up down a size to a 12 instead of a 13 otherwise they're perfect so I'm ordering a size 12 and I'm returning the size 13

The size is good but the shoe(material made of) is very stiff. Therefore, the shoe is not very comfort.

This shoe is VERY sparkly! Just not what I was looking for. I also saw a previous review that said this shoe is very "hard"and not very comfortable. I found that to be true.

These shoes fit beautifully. They are more beautiful in person. Wearing them for my daughters wedding.

I Had to order a size bigger I have 3 other pairs of different colors & a closed shoe . Those fit ok, hurt after a few hours of wear . I ordered a 9 1/2 extra wide for my daughters wedding & was uncomfortable after a few hours. I now ordered a size 10 extra wide for an upcoming wedding . Hopefully they will not hurt after a few hours. I do love the style & material .

These are beautiful shoes. I wish I could wear them. It took at least 1/2 hour to unbuckle them. My toes slide down into the open toe and the edge of the opening cuts into my toes.
