I don't find that these run large or small, just that the 4 is a little too tight-fitting in the seat/crotch area only, and the 6 definitely too large. I am often an in-between size in misses clothing, however -- it has been a persistent problem throughout my adult life. I do not experience the "swishing" of the fabric that others describe, but agree that the waistband is a bit loose, especially several hours of wearing the slacks, in and out of the car and meetings. I like that I don't necessarily have to press them after washing, but the 2nd pair I purchased did not come with the nice crisp crease that the first pair had, and in fact because of the way the slacks were folded in the packaging they have ended up with a double crease down the length of the front of each leg -- a drawback because I will have to press extremely carefully to remove it and replace the crease in the correct location. I do love the way the slacks lie when I first put them on, and the Lisette brand itself it nicer than a less costly pair I purchased that are very similarly styled but have not held their shape as well. The biggest drawback is that there is not a single pocket, not even a discrete small coin pocket. Women's pocket-less clothing is a major pain in the petunia. Period.

Huge disappointment - the material is stiff, cheaply woven, and actually makes a crinkly noise whenever you move! It sounds like paper rustling, or leaves being crunched. The stiff material is uncomfortable, but I thought I could get past the itchiness (or that it would soften with time) but wearing something that noisily announces your comings and goings? No thanks. My thighs don't rub together, but these pants make it sound like everything rubs together . . . and I cannot imagine how they would sound if my legs actually DID rub together while walking. Very disappointed; I thought that for the price these would have been of higher quality. I'm giving 3 stars for the style because they did a good job of "slimming" my look, when I was standing still. And the material didn't cling to my legs; it left a nice gap for a more professional appearance. But I don't stand still all day. Going back, and probably not trying this brand again.

I love the Lisette pant since arriving on the market. I am 5'7" and athletic build. Generally have worn 8 & 10 but have learned they don't always fit the same. Was not sure of size to order, so ordered 10 & 12. Will return the 10 and keep the 12, thinking just a smarter look in the Camel color. With regard to color, I was actually looking for a khaki color for spring and summer. This version is definitely more brown than khaki, but will be nice in fall and winter.

These are a nice pair of slim fitting business-casual pants. They fit well. I like the cut out at the bottom of the leg which helps them fit nicely over shoes. A few negatives: The fabric does 'rustle' slightly as you walk, and the top of the pant does slide down a little over the day.

Was really glad to find these. I had a pair for 4-5 years and mistakenly put them in the dryer. Diddn't like the resulting tightnesss. These are comfortable pants to wear with nice blouses/sweaters. No zippers or buttons to bulge out and ruin the look of a sweater or untucked top. They are slim but not skin tight. They don't get baggy as the day wears on. Sadly, it looks as though they are not being made any more.

Very cute pants. Can be worn worn with flats or heels. I ordered the straight fit first, but wanted a more tapered look at the bottom. Love the front pockets. I’m 6’ and the length was barely long enough. Love the tummy control and stretchy material.

The pant fits true to your normal size. It's a sleek look with easy pull-on style that looks professional for an office. This is my 3rd black pair of Lisette's. They wash well and I always drip dry them. I also lay them flat and smooth the pant legs out so it dries without wrinkles. The pant is comfortable and I like the skinny leg look of these.

These pants are very slimming and comfortable as they have an elastic waistband. I can dress them up or down, they don’t wrinkle and wash well in the machine. I bought them in Navy, Black and Slate Grey.

These are the second pair of Lisette pants I've owned. They fit great and the tummy flattener is really magical. They are comfortable, flattering and fit true to size for me. You could go a size down as they are very forgiving. As far as a nice pair of dress pants goes, I will always reach for these.

These are great slacks. They're comfortable to wear, look good dressed up or down, and are easy to care for. There are comments about them being "noisy when you walk" but I'm not having that issue. I'm typically between a 4-6, ordered the 4 b/c reviews said they run large. They do!

Love these! Very comfortable and flattering. Slimmish fitting, but not like a sausage in leggings.Drape nicely down the leg. I have trouble where waist bands usually are too big when the pants fit my rear, but these the waist laid flat with room for my butt. I'm usually between a size 10 and size 12 and the size 10 fit great. I'm approximately 5'7' and 155lbs.

Great pants. Very sleek looking. I am 5'5", 125 lb on the 6 fits very nicely. The rise is high enough to cover what needs to be covered--no gapping out in the back. DO NOT attempt to put these in the dryer. I accidentally did that with another pair in a different style and though they are not totally ruined, the waistband will never be the same. Wash in cold and hang dry and you'll be fine. By the way, when these are wet they look huge and you will wonder what has happened to them--they shrink right back down when they're dry.

So glad I purchased these trousers, and would like one of each color because they make dressing for work and moving at work, so easy.

I LOVE these pants! I have been searching for black pants for work and most are either too loose or too tight. These fits perfectly. They are fitted and flattering without being too tight for work. They are stretchy and very comfortable. There is no zipper or buttons so that is very convenient. Holds in your tummy at the top without adding bulk under a shirt. Highly recommend.

I love these slim Lisette Montreal style pants! They fit nicely and are not wide but also not skinny as leggings and they have a little stretch. 15 minutes on low to medium dryer and then line dry and they look great with no need to iron. The navy is dark. I'm 5'2", 105 lbs, and the size 2 fits me well. They are worth the price.

I lovee the camel color, just what I needed. They are very slim and sexy, but not too tight to appear like leggings. I will mostly wear them with blouses and heels - professionally stylish

The camel color was just what I was looking for, but I ended up returning them. They bagged around the knees. Otherwise, they were flattering and comfortable. I own another pair of Lisette pants and like them.

I have such a problem finding pants with long enough legs I'm delighted to have these. I don't love the fabric. It's kind of stiff.

Depending on the style, I wear either a 6 or 8 in Lisette slim pants. In retrospect, after reading the reviews, I should have ordered the 6. I returned them without ordering the smaller size because the fabric wasn't as nice and soft as my other Lisette pants.

Probably cute if your don't have too many curves. The fit is nice, but just too tight around my calves to be comfortable, felt more like tights. I ended up buying the straight fit longer o es which I would deem more business casual appropriate.
