Very cute but very slim fit if you have an athletic build and larger calfs.

I had high hopes for these because I’ve been wearing Hunters for years. I saw the slim style and wanted them right away. Sadly they are SO tight on the tops of my feet! Everything else fits perfectly and it’s overall slimmer than previous hunters. But they are way too tight for me to wear. I am returning.

loved the slim style of these boots, unfortunately, they are a little to tight for my high arches and my ankles, which was a big surprise considering I have really small ankles and narrow feet. Sadly returning them.

Beautiful boot. Tall and looked great on a 5'9" 125 lb person with small calves. Narrow in the calf and in the footbed. I have an average width to my feet. Will return the boot due to how narrow the boot is. Walked around the house for 15 min and already had pain in my feet. Not a boot for walking the dog or even walking more than 15 min anywhere. The tread/sole looked like a city fashion boot. Was hoping for a functional yet classy/classic boot (which is what I thought Hunter was all about). Such a bummer. I really liked the styling but not functional even as a rainboot! If you are shorter than 5'7" I'd say this is too tall. If I went up a size the length of the footbed would have been way too long. I am normally an 8.5 in boots, 9 in shoes, bought the 9 due to reviews. Will return the 9 for the original tall Hunter boot in size 9.

These boots weigh a ton. The more tailored calf style is flattering, but as soon as you walk, the ankles crease and bend, and foot moves up and down within the boot. It was ultimately too heavy to justify the expense of this boot and this brand.

When I got these boots, they were exactly what I was looking for: comfortable with a simple style. After 3 years of occasional use (only to walk the dog or do outdoor chores when it was raining) they have totally split down the front, leaving them wearable but useless as they are no longer waterproof. I'm pretty unhappy with that, given the price I paid. I will be replacing these boots with a different brand that will hopefully last longer than a few years.

There is nothing I don't love about these boots! I have Always wanted to splurge on Hunter boots for myself, I'm so glad I held out for the refined fit! They are perfection in every way!

I just wanted to mention how the “Refined” Hunters compared to the “Originals ”. I’ve got both the Refined and Originals in a variety of colors from Pinks, Blues, Lavender and Green along with the Black in both the Matte and Glossy Finishes. I typically wear a Women’s U.S. 11 or 12 or Euro 42 or 43. I found that the Originals are more spacious where I can wear them in the U.S. Size 10/Euro 42. However, in the Refined since they’re a more sleek dressy looking boot I wear those in the U.S. Size 11/Euro 43. Depending on the Event I generally feel comfortable wearing the Originals more for Working or Casual, whereas the Refined I wear out for Dressier occasions, pairing them with Leggings and even Skirts or Dresses. My Wife liked mine so much that She’s adding additional pairs to Her Boot Collection as well. I’m fortunate that I’m able to wear most Boots with a 14-1/2 Circumference on up. Hopefully this review helps Women and Men or Gurls like myself if considering purchasing a pair of Hunter’s whether Original or Refined.

I love everything about these boots ... except that they were a bit too narrow in the foot bed. I have a slightly wider foot than many shoes allow, but not enough to be in wide shoes. The boot was fantastic, but I did have to return them for that. I was bummed because I had finally found a pair of wellies that fit better in the calves. I ultimately settled for the original hunter short boot in a size larger than I normally wear, but with the liner, they fit great.

I've read quite a few reviews that they're tight. I didn't find that to be the case. The photos on this site and others is a bit off. It looks almost bone/eggshell in the pictures. It leans more beige.More muted than the photos. Still a pretty boot. Comfy.

I normally wear a size 7 USA narrow in a ladies shoe size. I ordered the Hunter Rain Boots in a size 7 US wide and the rain boots fit my feet very snug with thick socks. My calves are not large, (I weigh 123 lbs. 5’3”.) and the boot fits perfectly and comes a bit above my calf. I cannot tell you how pleased I am withThis purchase. I did not expect it to fit this well. Love love love my Black Hunter rain boots. A classic!

These are very cute and I love them! They’re a little roomy because they don’t come in half sizes. But that’s OK because I think I’m going to add insoles for arch support.

I love the style of the refined fit of these boots. They hug my legs and ankles. They are slim and taller than the original Hunter style. The original style has too many gaps around the ankles.

the Hunter Original Refined Rain Boots was my best purchase ever since i started buying rain boots. The quality and look is great!

I like the height of the boot. I'm 5"10 and the top of the boot comes about 1 1/2 inches behind my knee. A bit tight getting my old broken ankle down into the boot as my ankle is slightly larger on one side, but I managed okay. Love the overall look of the boot, can't wait for winter this year!

I love these boots, I have slim legs so they fit my calf nicely, they're tall so keeps my pants dry and perfect for the dog park splashing during break-up!

Bought this for my daughter in law who needed a 7 but has very narrow feet & calves. So they are perfect for her!

I have been wanting Hunter boots for a long time, but just didn't want to spend the money. The sale price was good, and the boots are awesome! I love the fit! I normally buy 8-1/2 in all shoes and boots, so I can put supportive inserts in them (I pronate a lot) but these don't come in half sizes and there were 9s left. But the fit is great and I probably just won't use the inserts with them since I'll mainly wear them in the rain and not for walking long distances. Wish I had these in April when my son ran in the Boston Marathon and the weather was horrible!

Can’t say enough good things about Hunter boots. This is my second pair, as I finally wore my first pair out after 4yrs of heavy wear and tear. They are so multipurpose: yardwork, camping, rain, snow, mud...I even dress mine up with cute boot socks and wear them out. Do yourself a favor, and BUY THE BOOTS!

I've been looking for a simple rain boot for a while and these turned out to be perfect. More than I wanted to pay but they feel well made and look & fit great!

I was beyond excited to receive these oxblood colored Hunters. The color is so unique and I have received so many complements wearing them. LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!
