I always need rain boots in the winter, so I figured spending a little more would be smart, as they'd last longer than cheaper brands. Unfortunately, not the case with these Hunter boots. One of them is badly split on the side, and I bought them just a little over a year ago. I'm disappointed, especially for the price.

Very cute short Hunter boots--but narrower than the classic. If these were leather, I'd say that they would stretch to accommodate my foot, but they are rubber, so they'll go back--I want my boots to be super comfy.

I love the more narrow look of these compared to the regular hunter boots, however it isn’t practical - I would not have been able to wear thicker socks with these so unfortunately have to send them back. Will probably just go with the regular hunter boots as I’ve had them before and they last years!

BEWARE! I have had these boots for just over one year. Today someone pointed out to me that they are completely cracked. I thought something had cut the boot, but noticed the exact same cracking starting on the other side. After spending more than $150 on these boots, I expected them to last MUCH longer than one year. How convenient that they should fall apart right after Zappos' warranty expires. I won't be purchasing from Zappos again.

Love them! Super easy to get on and off. Needed something practical for school drop offs. Goes great with everything. I got the navy color. These are a great alternative to the tall version that is sitting in the back of my closet because the calf is way to wide and i did them awkward to walk in.

Love the slim profile! I have thin calves so had no problems getting them in or out. I love how they don't look clunky. I originally wanted them in black but glad I got the navy instead as they are dark enough without being just black. Seems to be very comfortable with nice flexibility in the material.

I was a little nervous about ordering a size 7 because my normal shoe size is 7.5M, 38 European. I was so thrilled that the size 7 in these, ended up being a 38. They fit PERFECTLY! I am 5'4" and generally avoid tall boots as most of them tend to make me look like I'm wearing tall buckets. These are perfection in their scale, functionality subtlety and comfort. Ordered them at the last minute on account of an important outing, and the heavy rain that's predicted. I am so grateful that they came overnight, with free shipping and are perfect! :-)

I LOVE THESE BOOTS. It rarely rains in California, I bought these for my trip to Denmark. BUT I still wear them all the time because they look great and are comfortable. I wish I had waited though because now they are on sale, but still no regrets!

These run a half size smaller than the Original boots. Order a size up and with socks they are perfect. I love the look and quality is excellent.

Too narrow. You won’t be able to fit the sock without being tight and uncomfortable which sucks because they are nice. I have narrow foot.

I ordered these boots in size 5 and 6 (I also ordered the long ones in the same size and reviewed those separately). My feet are size 5 but quite wide. I’m 5’ tall (plus half an inch) weigh 110 lb and have very thin calves. The shaft of these boots were WAY too wide (I could shove both my hands into the boot with my leg and sock in there). The size 5 was a tad long, but not too long to say it’s a size bigger or anything. However it was VERY narrow for me. Usually it’s just the front of the shoe that feels tight on my wide feet but this boot was even tight on my heels. I tried them on with regular socks (not super thin but definitely not thick socks). Even the size 6 was uncomfortably tight despite being almost an inch too long. Steer clear if you have wide feet.

I have worn the original Hunter short rain boots for the last 9 years. I was hoping that the refined style would feel as great as the original style. While they look much cuter, they are narrow, lack padding, and lack arch support. Not at all comfortable. I'm sending them back and ordering the original short style Hunter boot again.

My feet are quite narrow and I feel like I’m swimming in most rain boots. These fit me right and even require a little pull to get off. This means that they’ll likely be too narrow for most. Deducting one star for comfort as the edge is a bit rough and if I’m not wearing tall socks or pants that tuck in, they can rub the skin a bit.

I love these boots so much. They fit snug like a narrow width wise so if you have a wide foot maybe get a wide fit or medium wide fit depending on your size. They feel narrow. I wear 9 1/2 I got a 10 and they fit perfectly (so I’d say they run about a half a size small) If your a half size go to the next size up definitely! I highly recommend these cute stylish boots !

Just a bit narrow, but I will break them in.

I love these boots and the size 10 fits fine. Unfortunately, they are too tight in the instep and rub my ankles. So, arch supports are out. I will have to return them.

So cute! Less bulkier looking than the other boots... which is what I wanted. I have skinny feet so these fit great. If someone has wide feet these may be uncomfortable. Zappos was wonderful as usual. :)

I really like the look of these boots and wanted them to work. I normally wear a 8 or 8 1/2 and found the 8 to be too large (flopped around when walking) and the 7 too tight in the toes. I think if this came in a 71/2 it would have worked! If you don’t mind wearing super thick socks or just want for winter, your normal size might work.

Love this boot for city rain days. Sleek paired down lines are quietly chic, comfortable for light duty walking, they're perfect for a minimalist urban look. True to size in length but narrower in with, I wear them with a thinner sock. If you're between sizes, order up. I'm and 8-1/2 or 9, and the 9 fits well. When the weather gets slushy and cold you're going to need a roomier boot to accommodate a thicker winter sock. I've worn these a couple dozen times and they still look brand new. Favorite rain boot ever!
