I felt sick when I submitted the order for these boots - especially for shoes I cannot wear to work. I have never spent so much on a pair of boots (or shoes or really any clothing item other than my wedding dress) in my life. However, I have narrow calves and over the knee boots need to fit snuggly to look good. Cheaper boots tend to have wider calves and I couldn't get the sleek boot I wanted with lower cost boots. I tried on so many pairs at Nordstrom Rack, Nordstrom and Macy's, and I couldn't buy them because I didn't like the fit. Because of my calf fit issues, I have been eyeing the stuart weitzman over the knee boots for a while. I knew I didn't want the lowlands because I like a heel when I dress up. I didn't want the highlands (although they are gorgeous) because the heel is too high. When this boot came out, the heel height was exactly what I wanted, so I stopped at the Stuart Weitzman store at the mall and tried these on. I couldn't stop thinking about them, even though I decided that I just couldn't spend almost $800 on a pair of shoes. Temptation won and I ended up buying the charcoal color from Zappos. Charcoal is a beautiful deep gray color - different and on trend. Each time I wear them I get a lot of compliments. I am a true size 8.5 and I took the 8.5 in these. I take a size 8 in the Stuart Weitzman Halftimes (the 50/50 with a heel, purchased on sale after I got these boots) and the 50/50 (tried on on at Nordstrom Rack). Overall, I still feel ill when I think about the price, but they are worth it. I haven't found another pair of boots that fit as nicely as these boots and they make me happy.

Goldilocks boot- just right. I have both Highland and Lowland boots, but my new Tielands are my favorite. It is identical to High and Low, but the heel height is right in the middle, which makes it perfect. These are my "wear all day" boots- - little more polished than lowlands, but totally possible to spend a full day shopping in them. I still would choose the lowlands if you're spending the day sight seeing - did I mention I did a 3 week trip to europe with only my highlands, lowlands, and a pair of Tieks? - but I think if I were doing a trip like that now, I might even just take these. I pre-ordered in slate for some variety but I think I'm going to get another pair in black as well.

I usually go down half a size for stuart weitzman. I usually wear a 7-7.5 for heels and shoes, the 6.5 M boot fit perfectly. I have one of these in black and ordered a coffee one from online. Unfortunately I could tell even from just opening the box that these were used. The boots weren't packaged neatly, they were just thrown into the box. No dust bag or suede sponge. The right boot fit noticeably looser and sagged a lot more than the new looking left boot. Fortunately the excellent customer service assisted me in returning these and exchanging for a different pair of boots.

I was thinking about getting these for a long time and finally bit the bullet and bought them when it was on sale for a day. I own the highlands already, but I love these so much!! The suede feels luxurious. It feels true to size. I didn't feel like I was walking on a heel at all. These boots were so comfortable. At the same time they were stylish and sexy. They also keep me warm at the same time! Would definitely recommend! Don't wait for these to go on sale! The highlands are already gone in my size when they (finally) went on sale. As a side note, I did try to wear cheaper OTK boots, but they felt like a glorified sock which wasn't even worth $70-100. I returned those and got the real thing.

I have been eyeing these Tieland boots for about 3 years. I just kept debating because of price. And I finally ordered them on Tuesday and I got them on Wednesday and I couldn’t wait to get home and try them on! And wow!! They fit like it was custom made for me. I’m usually a size 6 or 6.5 and I went with the 6 since most reviews said they run larger. The material feels like butter but sturdy. I am only 4’11” so I was really worried about how it would look on my short legs but they somehow make my legs look good. The heel is perfect, so I can wear them almost anywhere casual; or dressy occasions. Needless to say I love them!

They are beautiful. I am petite and was hesitant. But once you find the right sizes and material, they are both stylish and comfy. I am 6.5-7 mostly 7. I tried 6 and 6.5. 6.5 fits great. They shoes are a bit narrow: 6 is good for me length wise but too narrow. 6.5 is just right. Suede looks better than leather. Need right kind of leggings or jeggings so it’s not bunched up around ankle.

Gorgeous, gorgeous boots, incredible quality. I must have looked at every available review to figure out sizing, so posting this for anyone else having trouble! I'm a pretty reliable 8.5, but have shoes that range from 8 to 9. Tried the Lowlands in 8.5 with midweight socks and they felt perfect but with thin socks they fit a bit loose, so after seeing all the reviews saying to go a half size down I tried the 8 for the Tieland. They fit but were an uncomfortable width in the toe box--my guess is that if you have a wider toe box like me, you'll want to stick with your standard size, especially in the Tieland and Highland where the toe box is more narrow. I also a runner and have athletic calves (14.5") and these were easy for me to get on and off with leggings (especially with the halfway roll down trick). I own a few pairs of Frye boots that are leather lined and they're such a nightmare to get on and off--the silky interior of the SW boots is like heaven.

I've been holding out on buying these because I thought they were too expensive: but let me tell you, they are so worth it! I love the fit and how the shaft of the boot stays of my legs without needing fixing every five seconds. The foot part of the boot is spacious too and the heal height is perfect. Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to make a solid investment in amazing otk boots!

These boots are the perfect option for those who don't want a sky-high heel, but also want a little elevation. Although you can't match the elegance of SW's highland boots, there's no denying that they're a little rough to wear all day long. The slightly lower height and broader heel make the tielands delightfully wearable. I purchased my true size, 6.5, which is the same size I wear in highlands and lowlands. These run slightly narrow through the toe box, although not as narrow as the highlands. The suede does break in even if they're a tad tight out of the box. They are less narrow through the toe than the highlands. I have very small legs, so I always appreciate the extra-narrow shaft on SW's boots. I purchased slate, which is a rich dark grey--it's a bit darker than Zappos photos in my opinion. Although I'll be the first to admit the price is hard to swallow, there is simply no substitute for these boots!

Save yourself time and aggravation and just buy these! I have easily paid well beyond what these gorgeous boots cost in numerous cheaper alternatives and they would either look too slouchy and would not stay up or be very uncomfortable and pinch my thigh while gaping at the ankles. They felt like butter going on when I tried them on in store at SW! I am a true 8M and that was perfect. I have long legs that are more muscular and although it took some work to get them on, they felt great after and didn’t fall down on bare legs or over tights. I can’t quite get them over jeans though with my legs. The sales lady taught me a trick to fold the shaft down 1/2 way to where there is a crease horizontally and put them on your foot and then roll the other 1/2 up. Huge help! The only negative is that the tie in the back always comes undone but that’s a small price to pay for some fierce looking boots. They are very slimming too! Save up and get them... you will wish you had sooner ??

For ref, I am 5'2 106lbs, these def fit skinny legs but the fabric bunched @ my knees & I almost felt like I was wearing socks with shoes attached. I usually wear a 6.5-7 & got this in the 6.5. There was still room in the toes. I am returning & trying the SW Alljack in a 6.

Obsessed!! These are GORGEOUS- I am tall (5’10”) and long in the leg, and these come well over my knee, which is amazing since many “over the knee” boots hit me right at my knee cap. They were shipped super quick, unscathed with dust bag and all luxury packaging intact. I squealed with excitement when I put them on..I have athletic legs, and these fit beautifully and are so flattering, with no issue getting them on/off. Buy them!

True to size to slightly long. These boots are so fabulous! I have worn them every day since I opened the box! The Coffee color is a pretty warm medium brown, and the shoe design/stitching is really feminine and elegant. The style of the Tieland is more tailored than some of the more boxy SW styles like the Hinterland. The flexible shaft conforms to your legs and is super comfortable. I have average to wide size calves. At first the shaft was a bit tight but, it loosened up w a few hours wear when the suede heats up. It’s a shoe stretching trick - warmth helps the suede stretch. I blind bought these in my regular shoe size during a Zappos sale. Fingers crossed the black color goes on sale soon!

LOVE! I've been wanting to buy the Tielands for a while and am so glad that I did. Very easy to get on (for another reviewer - this is why they have a synthetic lining), perfect fit through the leg, and so flattering. Heel height is perfect. I most often take an 8.5 or 9 in heels, but these are great in an 8. I couldn't be happier with these.

Beautiful and lux looking. My legs are on the thick side so the shaft doesn't fit very comfortably, but for most people they would work. I'm surprised I could even put my leg into them because OTK boots from Blondo and Steve Madden wouldn't make it past the wide part of my calf. The actual shoe part is a little narrow and longer than expected, but as i said im kinda chubby and have wide feet.

Beautiful boots! I usually wear 6.5 Wide. I chose 6.5 W this time and it fits well. There's still room in the toes. But the width is perfect. The calf part feels a little tight but it's not an issue. My only complain is the synthetic lining. For such a price it should be all leather lining and footbed.

This is my go-to boot! The heel isn't very high and the blocked style make them very comfortable. I've worn them while standing for hours and my feet were completely fine. They look good with skirts, jeans, dresses, leggings, tights and pretty much everything.

These boots are heaven, I've tried probably 10 OTK boots and these are definitely worth the money. They're incredibly comfortable and they stay high on your leg all day. The heel height is perfect for walking all day and still being comfortable.

Bought these boots for my daughter as christmas gift and she loves them! the slate is sold out everywhere luckily Zappos has them. Very comfortable, love the heels perfect to give you height. Found these boots true to size but if you have skinny legs, order half size down.
