I got these in black and white. I really like them. I have metatarsal issues and these distribute my weight well. The insole is removable if you need to use your own insole. The sizing is odd. I normally wear a 9.5. I was able to get them in Wide width so went down to 9.0. Still too big. I exchanged them for size 8.5. There is still plenty of room in the toe box and no side pressure. I'm so glad Zappos makes it easy!

I think these shoes are great! Liked the first pair so much that I bought a second pair in another color. I love the fact they are waterproof and will enjoy them in Ireland and hiking this summer.

Love these shoes. They are cute, comfortable, stylish, and most importantly, once I tried the 7-Wide, they fit PERFECTLY! (Always have been a 7 or 7.5 Medium; guess my feet have just gotten chubby! haha) Thank you!

Super comfortable sneakers that look neat enough with slacks and skirts/dresses alike to walk to work. No break-in time was needed.

I LOVE these shoes! I wear orthotics, have sensitive feet and spend most of my day on my feet. Finding a shoe in my size (12) that is comfortable all day long and looks somewhat professional when not wearing jeans is quite the task.

Overall, I liked these shoes. However, I returned them because they felt somewhat stiff and less flexible than I expected for a walking shoe.

Roomy toe box but I usually order a narrow in Clark's. With the wave walks the narrow is a little too slim. This medium 10 is a little too wide but doable with thicker socks. I like how the nap on the new buck accentuates the style. The dark toe bumper makes them look a little smaller than they would in s monotone.
I find the cushioning fine but they are by no means squishy. It's a solid supportive feel. The arch support could be higher.

I'm happy to have found a waterproof shoe for urban walking in the rainy but mild winters in Portland, OR. This is what I was looking for as I don't always want to be wearing a boot or have to get into my hiking footwear just to achieve warmth and waterproof. On a recent rainy walk, my feet stayed dry and warm. The shoes are a bit on the heavy side and the sole feels a bit hard when you walk; definitely not that flexible feel you get when walking in an athletic shoe; it's more like walking in a hiking boot that has a flat sole. I do have a few niggles. The tongue is stiff and where it meets the front of my ankle, it is a bit uncomfortable after walking for a half hour. I'm trying to bend the tongue and break it in and hope that it gets better. Second, the shoelaces are too long. This seems to be a problem in every laced shoe that I buy. It's like the manufacturers only use one size of lace in each shoe model, regardless of whether the shoe is a very large or a very small size. Very annoying as I have to separately purchase shorter laces. Third, I bought a half size up as well as a wide, based on comments by other reviewers that the shoe runs small. I'm keeping the shoes but the length is probably a bit too long so maybe I could have skipped the half size up, although that might have had a negative consequence in the width. The extra width from getting a wide is helpful but not perfect. My foot's width is probably really a medium but the little toe on just one foot constantly needs just a little more room than a medium provides. By getting the wide model, the one toe is happier but the extra width throughout the shoe, and for the other foot, isn't necessary and I feel a little like I have clown feet.

Nice shoe. I thought a 7.5w would work, but it was too high in the instep and kept hitting my ankle. Sadly, I must return.

I have narrow heels, bony feet and bunions. I ordered the 7 also but found the 7.5 M more comfortable with socks. I got the sage nubuck, although the color is much paler than it looks online. I would have preferred a darker shade. These are supposed to be waterproof so will be fine for hiking and dog walking.

These shoes certainly do have "removable insoles"!! I don't like the style all that much but they are very comfortable with my orthotics. This is my third pair of this style; the only style that I've found that I can wear ALL day long.

I liked the shoe, but my foot swan around in it. I usually wear a 9-1/2, but not in this shoe. I was past the return period, so i gave them to my sister. She loves them. I just ordered the 9 M. I hope it fits!

I purchased these shoes in a 10 wide hoping they would accommodate my Spenco Total Support insoles I wear due to both feet having been broken in multiple places where arthritis formed. I had previously owned the Wave Trek and was told by my doc that I could only wear them if I ripped out the glued in heel lift under the stock insole, which I did. With that heel lift, the shoe felt like wearing a pump. It had to have at least a 14mm heel to toe differential. With this new version the heel to toe differential is a lot more subtle. There is still a thin lift under the stock insole, but nothing like what was in the Trek. I find that I do not need to wear my Spenco insoles most days with these shoes. These are a bit of a rocker bottom shoe, so beware, they do NOT flex. They do make walking quite smooth and effortless however and are a great shoe for someone with hallux limitus/rigidus. I have zero fat padding left on the ball of my left foot and I find that there is something in this shoe that gives support to that area. This shoe in wide width is also not only wider in the toe box, but wider throughout, as wide shoes are supposed to be but seldom are. Wider at the midfoot is the only thing that works for me as the 5th metatarsal on my right foot has been broken and that foot is wider in that area. In most shoes I feel a lot of pressure on the bottom of the head of my 5th metatarsal because of this. This version makes my gait a lot more natural than the old Trek version and my doc is happy that the incline isn't as steep. I find that there is adequate shock absorption from the sole and midsole and my weight is balanced evenly between my forefoot and heel when I wear these shoes.

Very well built and sturdy shoe. Lovely, rich, saturated color. On my foot, the regular width was a little bit snug, and the wide width was too loose, neither felt quite right. Comparing this shoe to similar offered by Chaco, Ahnu, Keen, and Teva. These do not have the internal arch support the others have. Would need to use an arch support insert. Will be returning them.

Nice shoes, but large and heavy. I returned my usual size for one-half size down, but it was still too big. The greatest problem was the weight of the shoe, and firm structure - it was too much for my foot. Had to return them.

This is a nice shoe for use with my orthotics. The only complaint is the right shoe was a bit tight in the toe box but I've stretched it out a bit by rolling up socks and stuffing them into the toe box for a few days.

I wear a 8.5W, and my forefoot is wider than my heel. These shoes have a taper at the toe that was not comfortable for my foot shape. The bottoms felt hard. So, had to return.

I really liked the shoes' appearance and the fact that they are waterproof. Was hoping to wear them on a trip to Ireland, but they were so rigid feeling, my feet didn't flex enough while walking, and I think if I had kept them I would have been very relieved each evening to take them off.

I ultimately decided on a New Balance walking shoe.

I wanted to love these and did like the look of them, but the 8 W was simply too big. For reference, I generally wear an 8 or 8.5 in a tennis shoe or hiking shoe. The shoe itself seemed comfortable enough, but I had two thumbs widths between my toe and the end of the shoe and my heel slipped, but if I tightened it enough for my heel not to slip, the laces felt like they were digging into my ankle. I liked the wide, as my toes didn't feel crammed, but the shoe itself didn't have much arch support. My own insoles did fit in them though. Sadly, they're going back.

I had to return these shoes because they were too tight across the top of my foot. The toe box felt good and the arch support for my plantar fasciitis was good, they even looked good, but when I flexed my foot in stepping it narrowed where the laces were and was quite stiff and uncomfortable. I own numerous pairs of wave shoes and had hopes for these. I am a teacher and a walker and as my podiatrist told me, " If the shoes hurt your feet then throw them away, whatever they cost."
